early on in their relationship, bash had gotten used to everly’s tendency of showing up unannounced ─ maybe because she was bored, or because she wanted some company, or for whatever other reason he couldn’t think of. the first few times had been troublesome, to say the least. despite the fact that he might deny it ( and he would ) bash isn’t exactly a ray of sunshine. his usual expression was one that implied he was angry or hated everyone around him, and well, it wasn’t entirely false. the man was more used to solitude, to being alone most of the time; at most, having someone to warm his bed for a few hours and then leave as if nothing happened. as such, it had been an adjustement, but he’d grown to enjoy her company. ❝ wouldn’t you get annoyed if you were in the naked ladies’ shoes? ❞ he mused, a hint of amusement on his features. ❝ need me to patch you up or something? ❞ he knew that with her being a fighter, bruises were common, but it was instinctive for him to ask. the mention of food made him quirk a brow, only then realizing he hadn’t eaten yet. ❝ fuck, yeah, i can do that. ❞ he hummed with a nod, already reaching for the bag. ❝ you’re not trying to poison me, are you? ❞

“the naked ladies just need to get over it - it’s not like i was getting in bed with the two of you, though that would be funny and i might try it next time just to see how they would react.” she smirked, it would be funny to see how hard they tried to slap bash, or hell how much they tried to slap her which would likely just make her laugh as much as watching bash get slapped. “i’m fine, i didn’t need any stitches this time and there isn’t a lot you can do to fix bruises unless you’re magic.” everly shrugged with a small smile his way before she gave a loud laugh. “bash if i was going to kill you, i’d make sure it was a whole big affair, i wouldn’t slip you a little poison.” not that she ever would kill bash, he was her comfort blanket, her best friend and there were times that she would loose it if she couldn’t just call him or show up on his doorstep. “just warm up the damn pasta.”

Everly wasn’t even sure how Niko had ended up over in the first place, let alone asleep on her couch, and yet the fearless leader of the Cobra’s was snoozing away soundly as she read her book in the arm chair besides him. When he had first fallen asleep she had considered waking him, but he looked so relaxed so wondered when the last time he’d really slept was. Raising her head as she stirred Everly gave him a soft smile. “About three…am, you feel asleep I didn’t want to wake you.” She hummed softly in his direction hoping he wasn’t going to be too mad.

the young cop couldn’t help when she felt her body redden at the other words “stop it, flattery will get you no where.” kenzie said her eyes turning into slits but a playful smile trying to escape on her lips. her gaze follows where everly’s scowl was directed to, her nose scrunching up at his sight “little bitch, i’ll try my best to keep him here.” kenzie shook her head and waved her hand around “yeah, yeah, i love you too.” she chuckled and pointed at her fellow cobra “damn right you owe me. anything? that’s a big offer, i’ll take you up on that, are you sure you want my help?” she teased.

“oh with you it will get me everywhere.” everly smirked back at her, kenzie was adorable and she was also easily flustered which was something she knew she could play to her advantage if she ever needed too. “make sure the little bitch cries and get’s put in with someone that will take a nice shine to him whilst you’re at it - let’s see if he likes his ass being grabbed without permission.” she huffed as she looked back at him, her gaze darkened for a moment. “well it’s stay in here or owe you - so sure babycakes hit me with your best shot and get me out of here.”

He made a show of pretending to catch the kiss. He looked at it for a second before playfully flicking it back at her. “Sorry Everly. I don’t know if air kisses count as a first kiss but I’d rather not chance it.” His first kiss was still waiting to be cashed in and he intended to keep it that way. Probably forever but he wasn’t going to keep track of the time. A particularly delicious looking combo caught his eye and he decided to get it. “I’m going with this one. You might have to pick up my slack tonight though. Even this looks like it might be too much food for me.”

“Oh you’re planning on getting a first kiss are you?” Everly smirked across at him, Evan was a nice guy, and maybe that was the problem, nice guys never got the girls they wanted, they always went for the assholes that they thought they could fix - girls really were stupid. “Well we will have to remember that.” She chuckled as she ordered her own stack of pancakes. “I’m a hoover I will eat it all.”

Everly likes to invite herself for sleepovers at Bash’s house and the poor dude had just gotten used to it.
