Today I reorganised my desk after being inspired by @emmastudies post the other day. I really like how my desk looks now!

I'm reviewing my notes and drinking my water because they're both good for me but we all know I'd much rather be eating ice cream and watching weird documentaries on Netflix

I've been sick all week so this is extra important!

I may have clinical exams in three hours but the important thing is that I took a Sorting Hat test for my cat (Professor Honey) and he's a Gryffindor.

Maple cookies go really nicely with the panic of your research supervisor suddenly telling you he wants your lit review done by tomorrow, not by next week as he’d previously asked 🙃🍁

for ppl who are in their first semesters of college…don’t feel bad if you’re not having the Time of Your Life and/or if things just plain suck. its especially bad in the US since you have to spend all this money and so it feels like you need to pretend that everything is ok so it looks like you’re not ‘wasting’ your $$$ on having a bad time. the fact is that a US college education is needlessly overpriced and that’s not your fault. there’s nothing wrong with you if things aren’t exactly perfect or if you’re depressed, and it’s ok to be unhappy w/ parts of college.

I got this cute little paper cutter for BuJo/artsy collage stuff but it has such a satisfying "click" I keep playing with it while I study

first day of college in media: “Please open up your textbooks to chapter three because I expect you to have already read the first two chapters in preparation for starting this class”

first day of college in reality: “We’re going to spend the next hour slowly and thoroughly going over every page of the syllabus because I strongly suspect at least half of you assholes don’t actually know how to read”

I'm sure there's a way to use my washi tapes that has more ✨visual impact✨than just sticking down little strips in empty spaces, but really I'm lazy and just want some cute flowers in my notes 🌸💐 (You gotta match your tea to your revision's colour scheme, also)

I'm still not sure if coffee tastes good but it DOES taste like the ability to get through this 12 hour day so hey, let's go

For anyone with a Daiso nearby, their black .38 mm gel pens are super cheap and mostly pretty great! But they smear like hell when you highlight over them so if you highlight a lot they're probably not the best choice unless you want to wait until they're totally dry (and even then... slight smudgies).
