Our Brunswick Forest Hogs in the Forest began their annual Holiday Food Drive benefiting Manna Ministries of Leland, NC and Brunswick Animal Shelter this past Friday, November 9th with a donation drop box at the Fitness & Wellness Center.

Since it's conception is 2012, John and Nancy D'Abrosca have grown this motorcycle enthusiasts club into one of the most active and popular groups in our community. Members share a common passion for riding bikes, hitting the open road and giving back to our local community.

Coastal Dance Academy Continues To Bring Adult Classes To Their Schedule 

Opening their doors this past August, Coastal Dance Academy, Inc. is located across the street from the Brunswick Forest Welcome Center and is in their sixth year of operation.

While they currently offers many classes for children in the evenings, the studio owner, Sara Clemmons, is ready to expand their adult class offerings and bring more Brunswick Forest residents through her doors.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and with one in eight women in the United States being diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their life, this month plays a crucial role in teaching women and men about breast cancer, spreading awareness about prevention and the importance of early diagnosis and joining together to form a growing community of survivors and advocates.

Our local community has numerous organizations that are dedicated to breast cancer. These organizations work year-round to help those impacted, as well as their families and loved ones.

The Brunswick Forest Welcome Center closed out the first week of September by dropping off food donations to Brunswick Family Assistance as well as school supplies to Lincoln Elementary School.

The Welcome Center collects donations throughout the year for Brunswick Family Assistance as well as for schools in the Leland area.

The Dink for Pink Pickleball Tournament is back for its third consecutive year and this year’s charity tournament will be hosted by the House of Pickleball, located just outside of The Villages at Brunswick Forest

Hitting the courts on September 19th, this 4-day tournament will benefit the Lump to Laughter organization.

Their newest facility will be Brunswick County’s first outpatient Orthopedic Surgery Center and will provide local residents with convenient, efficient and cost-effective care.
