one year later, the gang returns to the washington’s lodge at josh’s request and mike is as stupid as ever, joking / pranking his life away as if nothing happened

or at least that’s how he was perceived before the REAL shitstorm on blackwood mountain unfolded

he was down to get down with jess (his new gal after ditching emily yikes), meandering their way down the long path to a little cottage turned sex den

but then wendigo!hannah pulled the ultimate cockblock by ripping jess right out the god damn cottage door window

so he went buckwild for the rest of the night, determined to find & rescue jess while also trying to save the rest of his group of friends from whatever tf was going on back at the lodge

winds up in some abandoned asylum and uncovers some crazy shit about the wendigo origin & almost loses 3 of his fingers in a fucked up trap

also nearly dies a handful of times

but he meets a wolf and classically names him wolfie, so it evens out

almost shot emily pointblank because he thought she was gonna turn into a wendi and emily as herself was scary enough lmao

also he wanted to prevent her from potentially murdering them all

teamed up with sam & josh to put an end to the wendigos once & for all

ultimately ended up burning to a crispy in the lodge after blowing it up with him and the wendis still inside

or so he thought but jk he survived !

studying at unlv because he thought that was a good first step to a fresh start

also because he just wants to go to all the wild uni parties while trying to forget the traumatic shit he endured

When I think of them I think of SECOND CHANCES, CHRONIC HERO SYNDROME, A DRY SENSE OF HUMOUR. They’ve been here WITH their memories as a SHERIFF at LIMBO CITY HALL for TWO YEARS. I heard they’re still trying to figure out how they ended up in Limbo.

earth born. war hero. soldier. homeboy has seen / been through some shit

he was born in 2154 aka the distant future, so somehow winding up in limbo has been some historical educational moment for him that’s been an ongoing thing

he was born an orphan, raised on the streets & leading a life of petty crime and underworld gangs, but managed to escape all that by enlisting with the alliance military as soon as he turned 18

early in his military career, shep found himself facing an overwhelming enemy force. he risked his own life to save his fellow soldiers & defeat the enemy, despite the impossible odds. his bravery and heroism earned him medals and recognition from the alliance fleet

that leads into the beginning of me1. lots of fights and sleuthing to figure out wtf saren was even trying to do, only to uncover the truth about sovereign the reaper. more fights, had to kill a possessed saren, successfully took down sovereign but hey! news of more slow ass reapers on their way to wipe out everyone

leads us to the events of me2. the normandy gets blown tf up by a collector ship, flinging shep into the wide open space

he’s dead

jk his guardian angel miranda and her cerberus crew literally reconstructed him (with biotic perks) over the course of two years and brought him back to life

he reluctantly works with cerberus & the illusive man for a while because .... he kinda owes them lmao

forms a new crew while sporadically reconnecting with his old crew along the way #awkward

lots more fighting until they destroy the collectors, basically tells the illusive man to fuck himself, more prepping for the reapers arrival

brings us to me3, shep really hates the reapers

way more fighting, risks his life for the umpteenth and final time by activating the crucible to save everyone else

after all the bullshit everyone went through to get to that point, he couldn’t go through with destroying the reapers (aka destroying all synthetics) because edi & legion were in the back of his mind

he gave up his human existence to turn into an AI and use the reapers to basically police the galaxy so everyone could live long and prosper

and that’s the last thing he remembers before winding up in limbo

has no idea how tf that transition worked out but hey? he’s alive

When I think of them I think of SELF-SACRIFICE, DYSTOPIAN MARY POPPINS, A STEADY DIET OF CRYPTOBIOTES. They’ve been here  WITHOUT their memories as a PARAMEDIC at LIMBO CITY FIRE STATION for SEVEN MONTHS. I heard they’re seeking a sanctum.

fragile expresstm “handled with love”. basically the embodiment of mary poppins except, like .... from a fucked up, post-apocalyptic future

there’s not a whole lot of background info on her other than when her dad died (who was the founder of fragile express), she inherited / took over the company & eventually merged it with higgs’ delivery company because she liked where his head was allegedly at

everything was great in the early beginnings until it wasn’t

it was a trick

she got punk’d

he bamboozled her into delivering an actual bomb into a city, resulting in the deaths of everyone there and leaving her to feel absolutely devastated & guilt-ridden

after finding out higgs had another terrorist attack planned in the same fashion as the one she unknowingly carried out, fragile intervened and stole the bomb away in an attempt to reconcile but lmao she done got caught

higgs gave her an ultimatum; either warp herself tf out of there to save her own ass, OR save the city by running through timefall & throwing the bomb into a tar pit

ofc she chose the latter

she was stripped down to nothing but her underwear & given higgs’ mask to preserve her pretty face from the timefall / be made an example of & also so everyone would still know / recognize her as the one who blew up an entire city previously

after that shitfest, it’s assumed that she indefinitely parted ways with higgs, reclaiming her family’s company once again which was left with a severely damaged rep

she then runs into sam for the first time and pow her nurturing instincts immediately press her to look out for him throughout his journey & offer him a job with her company because she doesn’t want him to be alone aw

but lucky for her, she doesn’t remember anything mentioned above!

she has weird ass dreams / nightmares sometimes, which are very small slivers of her memory but can’t piece it together

always needs to make sure her people are looked after / are doing a-okay - loves doting on ppl

working as a nurse may have been more fitting but she enjoys being out on the road, whisking away to emergencies to save lives. weird
