In this video Brandon performs a 33lb sandbag single leg good morning. Here is footwear is definitely affecting his performance. Although, he would argue that because he has incredible hip flexibility and ankle mobility it’s actually good for his Fessional tissue to have so much variance throughout the system and that it makes them stronger, and I would have to agree. But I would still rather him do it barefoot on an airex pad. This is one of the hardest exercises you will ever perform and will build you tremendous superficial back line strength. In this video Brandon demonstrates a single leg 33lb sandbag sagittal plane dead lift while of course rhythmically symmetrically with lower volumes of inhalation and exhalations, breathing in and out through the nose. The soft plyo box coupled with his poor choice of foot wear creates a higher neural demand which creates fascial adaptations throughout his muscular system. The variance of the foot places greater force through the ankle knee & hip joints while incorporating all his fascial lines head to toe. We need to bring up his dead lift strength to match his quad strength. The hip/quad strength relationship should be 1 to 1 otherwise patterning will result leading to reduced force transmission that can come back in the future as an injury which is always tissue dysfunction. Not the best video but here Brandon demonstrates a pistol squat with a 70lb kb... His strength is seriously on view here but let’s put the emphasis on his fascial pliability & adaptability. The fact that he wakes up his proprioceptors with #dynamicfascialmovements prior to his workout affords his joints & transfer of force throughout his fascial system to release muscle inhibition while increasing muscular activation prior to handling loads that create stress THROUGHOUT the body not by focusing strength solely on the glutes & quads....Muscles are dumb. All they do is contract & release and the driving force behind that mechanism is the surrounding fascial tissue...which is what matters most. To my chagrin his footwear is terrible. The gym won’t let him go barefoot and I don’t know why he doesn’t have flat shoes on. To make this exercise even more remarkable is the fact that he’s doing it on a soft plyo box with an elevated heel. During the exercise you’ll notice he’s breathing through his nose and at the end of the exercise he recovers strictly with nasal breathing. This is the healthiest I’ve been in 10 years since I herniated 2 discs & tore my L biceps tendon by 90%. Guess what? Everything has repaired itself. How? Structural integration/chiropractic/acupuncture. How else? Two simple principles applied to my cells. Breath holding which vastly improves cellular respiration, and the removal of toxins (sugar, grains, and dairy from diet). In this short HIT w/o I did 15 minutes of dynamic fascial movements w/ Vipr preparing my tissue for external loading by waking up the proprioceptors which releases muscle inhibition & enhances afferent/efferent motor signaling. 4 rounds of Trap bar dead’s on airex pad (3d variability for complete hip engagement) using 35lb plates for depth... Naboso mat over pad w/ 300lbs for 2, rotational 16 kg kb front squats on pad & mat, multi directional 20 kg Vipr lunge/squat matrix, then 90sec of pulsers on mat & pad. 15s rest b/t movements & 2min rest b/t sets. ALWAYS NASAL BREATHING Followed up with Genius muscle builder drink. Took me 40 minutes. Over the last 4 weeks & 8 sessions my client Robert 74 w/Parkinson’s has made tremendous progress. I chant 9 ohm’s at the beginning of every meditation. It’s the best way to stimulate your Vagus ‘Xth cranial nerve’. Singing, chanting mantras, hymn singing, energetic singing all increase heart rate variability (HRV) in different ways and it activates the vagus nerve which brings your Nervous System back into balance. Singing initiates the vagal pump sending relaxing waves through the Nadi’s which is your Etheric body. The Etheric body is the invisible energy body that signals physical responses in the human. Singing works at the muscles in the back of the throat to activate the vagus. It is also found that singing increases oxytocin secretion and activates vagus nerve tone. I teach others how to breathe properly and what a deep breath really means. A deep breath is not what you think. It’s not taking in full inhalations and or exhalations rather, it’s slow rhythmical, symmetrical shorter intake and outtake volumes of air. Deep and slow breathing stimulates the vagus nerve. Our heart and neck contains receptors that activate through blood pressure. They are nothing but a special type of neurones that detect the blood pressure and transmit the neuronal signal to the brain.  This signal stimulates the vagus nerve which in turn reduces the blood pressure and heart rate.   Deep and slow breathing increases the sensitivity of baroreceptors and vagal activation and reduces the high blood pressure, heart rate, anxiety etc sympathetic actions and increases the parasympathetic activities.
