What you're seeing:

A kinect is looking at a sandbox, it takes in the height of the dirt piles in relation to each other and projects a corresponding landscape to it.  When you dig deep, it fills with blue because of water, the deeper it is, the darker the water is.  If you stick a hole into a mountain and turn it into a volcano lava starts coming out.  It does this all in real time so the landscape changes as you play around with it.  It's like real life minecraft.  Awesome?  Damn. Straight.

Effective Studying Tip #1: Start your essay with 50 percent battery on your laptop. Go to a place far away. Don't bring your charger. Start writing.

This works because you are forced to conserve and make the most out of your battery.  You turn your brightness down as low as possible, you stop listening to music, you stop going on other websites, simply because you can't.  Everything takes up precious battery life.  I'm at 31 percent right now, and I've already written about 2 pages in 30 minutes.
