Once Danny had sat down, it took him a second to get comfortable as he felt the lawyerâs gaze upon him. He was pretty positive the other was checking him out, and he couldnât say he minded the attention. He couldnât help but offer a bashful grin as he ran his head through his hair. This lawyer was definitely easy on the eyes. This could end up being a really good thing or a really bad thing. But hey, he was hereâso why not see it through? âYeahâyeah, I understand,â Danny murmured when the other mentioned that he had two rules. Two rules too many for Dannyâs tastes, but he supposed you needed to have some structure if you were managing other peopleâs shit shows. âI can do that. Anyway, how you can help me.â It seemed best in Dannyâs opinion to keep it brief. âIâm a Photographer. Iâve recently gotten a job with a publication here in the city, and Iâm pickinâ up freelance clients, too. I have a good thing goinâ right now. And if I play my cards right, things are only gonna get better. But thereâs somethinâ else. My problem, I guess you could sayâmy problem is this high that Iâve been chasinâ since I was a kid. I love downers. Smack if weâre beinâ specific. Love it. Canât get away from it. Some people like to go home and drink a glass or wine or pop open a beer, and I uh, I guess this is my thing. I go a little wild on the weekends, but I always show up at when Monday rolls around. Like I said⌠thereâs not a problem now. I just⌠I just am thinkinâ maybe I should make preparations in case I ever do have a problem, yâknow? Itâs real easy to make a wrong turn these days.â
Sam took a few seconds to think about what could happen and what he could do if that happened. âSo... In resume, you want to be ready in case someone decides to make public the fact that you like to use certain substances to relax?â He asked, just to be sure. âThatâs a hard thing to cover, I mean you would probably have to justify that you use them because a doctor suggested that he should, but for that, you need a big process, what do you use? Exactlyâ He asked, this wasnât his first case with something like this, but like everything, the case is different because everyone is different. âI mean, there is another way, there are a ton of ways, but I need to know more information before choosing which one is better for your case. How long have you been using it? How do you get it? Is it legal? How popular are you?â He asked, with still a lot of questions in his head.Â

When he heard of the news that he would work with someone on a case, he didnât really care all that much. He was used to sometimes working with other lawyers. But when he saw who it was, he instantly frowned. His words also made him roll his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at him. âI am not your secretaryâ he simply stated, putting his walls up and sighing heavily. He knew that if he didnât act like the sassy, ruthless lawyer he was, then he would sit in a corner and cry by the end of this. And all of that was thanks to his ex boyfriend breaking him down so effortlessly. âIf you want someone to bring you coffee? Ask someone elseâ his eyes moving down to the floor as he didnât want to even look into his eyes. The last encounter they had ended up in a disaster. And he didnât have the energy or time for that today.
At the familiarity of the otherâs voice, Sam looked up, staring at the other, trying to recognize him. ââCompetition guyâ, right? Why are you here? You want to watch me in a real case or something like that?â He mocked, using his pen to point at him with a grin on his face. âI thought I made myself clear when I told you that I donât like people spying on me, so go away, I have work to do,â He said returning to the paper that he was reading. âOh, and since you are already gonna walk to the exit, please tell the secretary or whoever is out there that I need coffee,â He said, ignoring every single word that came out of Takeoâs lips.Â

Always needing to be the one to have the last word, Richard scoffed, tongue pressing against the inside of his cheek. Turning around he gave the man a mocking smile. âLetâs just say your brand of help isnât something Iâd ever want.â Itâs true, Richard wouldnât ever want to turn to someone who resorts to mockery in order to assert their position over others. That being said, he couldnât deny the attraction he has to smug people. Itâs a need really. Itâs pathological, the desire to keep them in check and he knows he can do it too. Humouring the man, he walked to lock the door behind him before going back to the man. Stopping only when heâs inches away from him, he hummed. âYouâre not the first one to offer me and you wouldnât be the last. Doesnât mean Iâd ever let people like you demean me though.â His words were cold and firm, intense eyes set on the others before he continued. âAnd your cockiness disgusts me.â
Sam pushed himself off his desk, using one of his hands to make sure that his hair was still perfect. âIâm not trying to demean you,â He said, shocking his head while taking a step to his right, walking away, he didnât want to give the other a chance to trap him. âIâm just saying that you are really attractive and that you should use that, a lot of people would think that Iâm just complimenting them, but you donât, why is that?â He asked, starting to walk around, checking the otherâs ass, letting one of his hands brush against it, before walking towards the door, removing the lock and opening, sneaking his head out to whisper to his assistant that he should cancel his plans for the day, closing the door and locking it again. Walking until he was inches away from the other, barely touching his back, moving himself up to be able to whisper against Dickâs ear. âAnd donât say that youâll never want my help because I can be really helpful when I want toâ He finished, placing one of his hands against the otherâs shoulder, forcing him to turn around âAnd if you really wanna make me mad, or hurt me, or whatever, you are gonna have to do better, the words of a delivery man donât really matter to meâ Samuel said, staring right at the otherâs eyes.

What do you mean by âworking togetherâ? || Takeo & Samuel
@ofthelust
âYou can leave the rest of the files in the table,â Samuel said, acting like the boss even though he was just one of the lawyers that his client decided to hire, he didnât even bother in looking up, apparently he was the last person they hired and since he didnât want to stay behind he decided to seize his free day, reading all the information possible in the case. âOh, and if you can please bring me some coffee, Iâm planning on finishing all this by tomorrow,â He said, using the pen that was on his left hand to make a circle, to indicate that he was gonna finish all the papers in the room unaware that the guy on the door was actually someone he knew and that he was actually one of his colleagues. Â

Dick was already turning around when he heard the guy come up with an excuse and with a quirked brow, looked behind hik and mused, âyeah? Well if thatâs your brand of help I wouldnât want it anyway.â In truth, Richard may have found the guy cute but that doesnât change the fact that he was too cocky for his own good and that just doesnât sit well with Richard. âAnd sorry to burst your bubble princess, but I donât want your offer. Iâm quite happy where I work right now.â Propping the messenger bag on his shoulder he gave the other a mock salute and smirked, ânow if weâre done Iâll be heading out. Enjoy the rest of your day⌠helping people.â
Sam rested his bottom against his desk, crossing his arms against his chest, listening to what the handsome guy was telling him. âWhatâs wrong with my help?â He asked with a smirk on his face, it was only there to show the other that he didnât care about what he thinks about his job. The smirk transformed into a laugh at the moment Dick used the word princess which happened at the same time as Sam throw his head forward. âIf you want to keep your job I canât do anything about it, Iâll respect it, but you do agree to the part that you could be a model if you wanted to, right? Thatâs why you didnât even mention it, you didnât even show any sign of discomfortâ He said, licking his lips out of habit, seizing his words to stare at the other from top to bottom. Ignoring his attempt of walking away, since Samuel wasnât just going to let the other escape. âYour confidence is actually quite attractiveâ.

Connor was starting to get his name out there, well not super out there, he wasnât like being recognized in the streets just yet, but around the journalism field he was starting to get his name around, build connections, meeting people, going to dinners, heâd gotten a few awards for it. But they still thankfully didnât know that at night he was taking his clothes off for money, and tips. It was just so he had a decent income, and he was starting to save up quite a bit, maybe soon he could quit but right now he still needed that uhh embarrassing second job. So he wanted to get a lawyer that would be able to help him cover up that stuff. âUhh hi, Iâm uhh Connor, Connor Anderson.â Blushing, âSorry Iâm new to all of this, uhh I read that you help like manage crisis and like info and prevent like blackmail and secrets from getting out, is that uhh true?â Connor fidgeted a little nervous about all of this, but it was necessary he was pretty sure.Â
Sam stared at Connor curiously, unsure on how to answer his question, since as far as he knew the phrase âcrisis managerâ was below his name in any publication where he announced himself. Since the other looked kinda nervous Samuel decided to answer like he should. âYeah, I help people, especially when they get caught up in any kind of scandals. Why are you asking?â He asked, standing up and pointing towards the chair in front of him âPlease sit. Can I offer you anything? Water? Coffee? Tea? A soda?â It was clear that the other was nervous, so Samuel knew he had to do something to make him feel safe. âAnd before we talk about the reason why you are here I need to specify, I donât really have the capacity of keeping secrets secret, but I can help you come up with a strategy if the secret comes outâ He specified, waiting for the other to take a sit, placing both of his hands against his desk. Â

Julian, now that election season was coming up soon knew he was going to need a special kind of lawyer. One that made problems disappear when they showed up out of nowhere, and considering how much gay sex he liked to have with other men, he imagined if that got out even a little bit there would be problems that need to disappear. Walking into the guys office, once he was ready for him, Julian smiled at him. âSam? I figured you were Sam. And as of right now, nothing, thankfully. However as you know I am a big thing here in Chicago, well lets just say, actually I see no reason to mince words, as the more you know the better you can help me, Sam. I like eggplants in my peach, and in case anyone talks about it, I am going to need you to make it disappear. Smooth things out, you know the thing I pay you to do. Is that easy enough? Or will you need additional explaining or more information on anything, because I promise to be an open book with, so long as the secrets I share with you, remain secret.âÂ
Direct, Sam thought while smirking at the other, if there was a trait that he liked in people it was that. âYou are Julian Spencer, right?â He asked, standing up and walking around his desk to be able to close the door of his office, turning around, facing the tall blonde guy. âItâs funny,â He said, looking down with a smile on his face, moving towards the couch that was right next to the door, it was big enough for both of them to sit there, so Sam thought maybe they should talk there âWhy did you decide to use the words eggplant and peach?â He asked, sitting and then using his right hand to invite the other to sit. âIâm glad that you already know that you have to be one hundred percent honest with me, but I canât promise you that I can make everything disappear, it depends on the situation. I can tell you that Iâm good at my job and Iâll always try to make it disappear and if that doesnât happen then Iâll find a way to twist whatever they are using against you, and just to be sure... Wouldnât it be easier if you just stop getting fucked, sorry, getting eggplants in your peach for a while?â He said, staring at the other with his typical confidence. âSo... Mr. Spencer, why donât we talk business now? Are you willing to do whatever I tell you to do?â.

Parker had been enjoying a nice evening to himself, and was practicing his new songs that he was going to show the producer soon. He had alone time frequently but he tried to be social in every way. He was thinking of his close friend Sam, as he was always on some part of Parkerâs mind. As soon as he was about to text the other he received a text. He smiled as he typed a reply. -I was just thinking about you, and im not up to anything im lonely- he waited a few seconds before responding again. -Where are you?-
At the moment Sam got Parkerâs text he walked towards the otherâs door, standing right in front of it before texting. -Open your door ;)â The feeling of guilt was still present, he could feel the weird sensation on his stomach, or maybe he was just excited of doing this against with Parker, but it probably was the former since this was the first time it was going to happen in the same house were he once worked with Parkerâs relative.Â

If there was one thing that Michael hated more than politicians, it was lawyers. Despite their name, they were everything but people who upheld the law and sought justice, but here he was, a stack of files under his arm, files in which the other man had requested. Uniform neat, vest tight, belt and utilities strapped and even, he makes his way through the front of the building, stopping at the front desk in a quick flash of badge, he continues on with the younger man that leads him back. Extending his free hand in greet, he nods with a purse of lips. âOfficer Donelly,â He says, âYou requested files on a young man a couple of days ago. My boss wanted me to apologize for it taking as long as it did, you know how things can get,â
Sam always thought that the fetish people have with uniforms was dumb, after all, they are only clothes, but he couldnât really say anything since those ânormal clothesâ are actually one of the things that get him in a certain mood, especially when the person wearing that uniform was someone as good looking as the guy standing in front of him. At the motion of the other, Samuel stood up, formally taking his hand as a greeting. âThanks, and tell your boss that I understand but that I hope that this never happens again,â He said, extending one of his hands as a request for the other to give him the papers. âAre you new Officer Donelly?â the lawyer asked, curious since he has never actually seen him before.Â

It wasnât too hard to hear the man behind the door scolding someone. It sounded harsh, arrogant even and when a man grumbling curses on the consultant came out of his office, it was Richard had to see to make him realise this is one of those no-good white collar people who donât consider other peopleâs feelings. Before he could even knock, a young man in a suit motioned for him in and although the man sounded so harsh behind the door, he looked non-threatening as he smiled at Richard and asked him in a sweet tone. âOh huh, Iâm not here for your services. I was actually here to deliver this.â Dick said, handing the man a package before asking him to sign on the paper. âWell, have a good day humiliating people, sir.â The comment was sarcastic and Richard didnât mince his words since he know this wouldnât affect his job, really.
âOh...â Sam said while tacking the package and placing it against his desk, staring at it with a frown since he wasnât waiting for anything. After signing the otherâs paper a smirk appeared on his face at Dickâs comment, especially at the moment he heard the word âsirâ since it only remembered him the first thought he had once he saw the other walk through his door. âI donât humiliate people, I help them,â He said, trying to come up for a reason to make the other stay. âActually, are you sure that you donât want me to help you with anything?â He asked, standing up and walking across his desk to be able to stand next to the other, buying some time. âI could help you find a better job if you want, being a delivery guy doesnât fit you,â He said, staring at the other up and down âYou could be a model if you wanted toâ.Â

danny-griecoâ:
Danny wasnât really sure if heâd ever been in an actual lawyerâs office before. Heâd seen enough of The Good Wife to get a general gist about what a law firm might look like, but it was also fiction. In reality, he was never really a person that had ever run afoul with the law. Heâd never had a use for a lawyer. Not for lack of trying, of courseâDanny had done plenty of sketchy shit. As an addict, it was just part of the territory. But heâd been lucky that heâd never get caught red-handed. That, and he was white guy. He didnât fit the script of what most people imagined drug addicts to look like, which meant he got to flow under the radar. But that didnât mean itâd always be the caseâeverything could change tomorrow. And if that did happen, Danny wanted to be prepared. He busted his ass trying to make his photography career work in New York, and it was starting to pay dividends here in Chicago, too. Heâd gotten a new job, and there were always clients on the horizon. He needed a clean rep if he wanted to keep any of it. People wouldnât want to hire him if he was a walking disaster. Which yeah, he was a disaster, but that was his business. After sitting in the waiting room for nearly twenty minutes, Danny was a little relieved when he was ushered into the lawyerâs office and the guy introduced himself. âHey there, nice to meet ya. Iâm Danny.â This guy was⌠well, he was definitely a looker. He could feel the other maleâs eyes on him, and he wondered if maybe he should have considered approaching a female lawyer if only to avoid the possible sexual tension.. but hey, he was already here. âIâm uhâIâm not in any trouble right now. Not yet, anyways. Hopefully never, but yâknow how things go. I just⌠wanna make sure all my bases are covered,â He explained, as he sat down. âI understand youâre in the business of managing mishaps?â
If there was something Sam loved, that was his work, it was everything to him, especially because it always allowed him to have occasional encounters, which was perfect for him, since thanks to his father he grew up believing that caring about someone is a weakness and thanks to a bunch of cases he ended up confirming that and bad people also know this, thatâs why they always kidnap someoneâs kid, so at the moment Danny started talking, Sam got confused, because for the first time he didnât know what got him more interested, his story or his body. âYeah, I am. But if you really want me to help you, you have to respect two rules, first, you have to always tell me everything and second, you have to tell me the truth so I can prepare for anything, ok?â He asked, leaning against his chair. âIf you agree to this, then go on, tell me about your possible problem, how can I help you?â He asked, forcing himself to stop having bad thoughts about the other, this was work and he had to focus on it.

If there was one thing Takeo constantly did it was check out his fellow lawyers. He liked to see how good they were in action. When he was in his professional mindset, he was not one to mess with because he would take anyone under. In his eyes you had to be a certain type of lawyer. You had to be tough, you had to have your walls up to keep you safe if people wanted to play dirty. And as he watched one of the lawyers in town talk to someone, he crossed his arms over his chest and smirked a little. When the attention was shifted from the phone to him, he tilted his head to the side. âOh no no I am not here for personal buisness. I think I could take good care of that on my own, but thank you for askingâ he said and shrugged. âTakeo Jiang. I am rather well known in the lawyer circle and I am just here to check out my colleaguesâ
âSo... You are here to check out the competition?â He asked, changing his posture and tone to a more defending one, yeah, Takeo was hot, but Samuel always protected his job, it was probably the only thing he has always protected. âI mean. If you were someone that wanted to learn or whatever Iâd let you stay and watch if thatâs what you want, but since you are a...â He made a pause to be able to lift both of his hands, adding air quotes to his next word ââWell known lawyerâ Iâm gonna have to ask you to leave or wait outside if you want to chat, Iâm sure you understand, I have to respect the privacy of my clientsâ he said, pointing with one of his hands towards the exit. âUnless youâd like me to help you with anything...â He suggested, hoping that the other would say âyesâ since his body was still reacting to the good looks of the other.Â

I shouldnât be doing this Samuel thought. This happened every time and not because it was wrong, (after all they both agreed to do this, they both wanted each other), but because Parker was younger than him, something that Sam thought that only saw wrong because the society forced him to think it was wrong, but that only made him want to be with the other even more, because that little voice disappears, just like everything else, at the moment he has his hands against the tall guy. âAre you free?â He texted the young man, waiting outside of his house, waiting for his answer, since he had to make sure that they had the place for themselves. Â

âThatâs not a real crisis,â Samuel said for the third time to the person in front of his desk, taking a deep breath while trying not to start yelling at the man. âDo I speak in a different language? Thatâs not a crisis I can fixâ He said, taking his card out of his pocket and sliding it through the desk in the otherâs direction. âHere... call me if you or your client has a real crisis and by crisis I mean defamation of some sort, Iâll even take a âleaked sex tapeâ case or the âIâm having an affair and no one can knowâ one if you want, but what you are describing is not a real crisisâ He added a huff at the end. Making a sign to his assistant to let him know that he should let the next person come in. At the moment he looked at his new potential client he had to admit that he was actually really good looking, the kind that always made his work extra hard, only because no matter what he does he always ends up in bed with them. âHi, Iâm Sam, how can I help you?â He asked, trying not to picture the guy in front of him naked.Â
