A Tough Goodbye, A Welcomed Hello.

It was a sunny morning after a long night of heavy rain and strong winds, with little puddles and leaves over the streets and footpaths of the quiet town with only a few people out during the early mornings.

The door chimed as they opened with a soft twinkle of bells as a young girl stepped through, entering the small pet store full of life at any day and time, but only feeling saddened by why she had came and approached the counter, ringing the bell to let anyone know she was here.

At the sound of the bell the doors to the staff office had creaked open, a short built young man with peachy orange hair stepping out to the front counter, his name tag reading 'Jimin' and a smile on his face that turned his eyes into little crescents.

"Good morning! How can I help you today?"

The young girl looked down at her hands, gripping the handle of a small pale blue pet carrier. "Uh.... I was wondering if you could help me..." glancing up at the young man.

"Of course, what would you like help with?" Speaking in a calm and gentle way, he could see it was going to be something hard for the girl.

"I.... I have to fly aboard to attend university.." lifting the pet carrier onto the counter to open it up as she spoke. "My parents can't afford to look after my puppy and my mom is allergic to animals as well.." taking the small curly haired chocolate brown poodle out of the carrier. "I don't want to leave him without knowing he's going to be with someone who loves him a lot" watching the puppy snuggle in her arms.

Jimin just smiled seeing how close the little poodle and his owner were, it was always heartbreaking having to split up such a strong bonded pair. "It’s always hard doing this, but I promise you that we'll find him a great home with someone who loves him so much" letting the pup sniff his hand first.

Just hearing that promise seemed to lift a weight off her shoulders. "Thank you so much.." carefully passing the poodle to Jimin, tears in her eyes as she petted and kissed the little puppy’s head. "I love you~ and I always will" sniffling back her tears. "Goodbye, my sweet little baby", leaving the shop in tears, ignoring the sad whines of the puppy’s cries after her.

It broke his heart every time someone needed to rehome their pets, especially when it was younger animals who didn't know why they were being left. "shhh~ it’s okay little pup" bringing the poodle close to his face, sweetly kissing its head. "Let’s go see Hobi, he might make you feel better"

They moved from behind the counter to go across the store, entering the conjoined Groomers on the other side, where a sunny man with a brown mop of hair had swept through the floor, humming a bouncy tune.

"Babe? Are you free?"

The sunny man turned around, smiling brightly with the shape of a heart on his lips. "I'm free whenever you need me, Jiminie!" Noting the small puppy in Jimin's arms. "And who might this beautiful baby be?"

Petting the soft curls of the little poodle's ears, a small sad smile appearing on his lips. "He's a beautiful baby in need of a new home, but his owner didn't tell me his name" Jimin needed a name to put on the puppies registration for the store.

"No name?" Looking at the small fluffy poodle, who sniffed his hand before he could pet the pup. When Hoseok noticed a small heart shaped tag attached to the poodles collar, reading it with a smile. "Well, you might want to think again Jiminie, cause he has a name"

Blinking in surprise at his other half finding the pup's name. "Really? He has a name?" Excited and a little relieved. "What is his name?" Smiling at Hoseok, who smiled back like Jimin had stars in his eyes.

"Holly"

Moving Day.

‘How did this day arrive so fast?’ was the thought that was running through Jungkook’s mind as they waited for their luggage, holding his son’s small hand while the little boy looked around the airport next to his father with excitement in his eyes and smile.

“Appa~ the airport’s so cool!”

Smiling down at his small child. “Are they now, Junseo?”

“Yeah! Pilots are cool too~” bouncing as he spoke.

“Cooler than your Appa?” lightly teasing his own son.

“NO!” cuddling his dad’s leg, talking with a pout. “Appa is the coolest person ever!” Looking up with big sparkling doe eyes. “Appa is my Iron man!”

Heart melting at hearing those words each time, ruffling the soft ebony locks of his son’s hair. “And aren’t I proud to be your Iron Man” Smiling before catching sight of their luggage, lifting both bags off of the baggage claim. “Ready to go, Jun?”

Junseo nodded his head eagerly. He couldn’t wait to see the new town they were going to live in as he followed his dad to where one of the policemen was waiting to pick them up.

                    -30 minute drive later-

Thanking his new co-worker Mingyu as he stepped out of the car, helping Junseo out of the car seat and taking it out with them too.

“Hey Jeon, don’t be a stranger around here” Mingyu smiled at him and Junseo. “Make sure you go around and introduce yourselves”

Nodding his head at the dark haired officer. “Sure, once we’re settled and unpacked we’ll go for a walk around”

“Good!” Scribbling on a piece of paper then handing it to Jungkook. “Here’s a few places you should go and stop by” Starting the car up. “I’ll see you at the Station in a few days!” Sending a small wave to Junseo, who giggled and waved back to the nice officer before he drove off.

He looked at the list of places Mingyu had written down as he walked to the front door with Junseo.

Places to Visit:

-  Clinic. 

-  Pet Shop & Groomers.

-  Flower Shop.

-  Marine Outpost.

-  Kindergarten.

Jingling the keys in the lock and pushing the door open, being greeted by the sight of boxes and suitcases. “Looks like we’ve got a long night ahead of us, huh?” Looking down at his son.

“Yup! But we got this Appa!” Beaming up at Jungkook. “We’re Jeons!”

“That’s right, little man” Rolling up his sleeves. “We are Jeons… Let’s go!” Lifting up his little boy, who was filled with laughter as the door closed behind them, heading off to do their day of unpacking.

Tae & Jungkook live in their own respectable homes.  Jungkook lives with his son Junseo in town. Their home is a 15 min walk from the Police Station & a 10 min walk to the Kinder. Taehyung lives alone with his dog Yeontan in a small house in the same area as Jimin & Hoseok. It’s a 20 min walk to the Kindergarten from his home, but 10min walk to the Pet Groomers where Tae drops Yeontan off at the Groomers while he goes to work.

Pair of Sunshines, Jimin and Hoseok Own the Pet Store/Groomers. They live out in the more outer part of the area with a lot of land.  Jimin brings home all of the Pet Store animals every day with the help of Hoseok. The duos businesses go hand in hand with each other, both supporting and helping out no matter what the other says!

A Poly relationship between Namjoon, Jin and Yoongi. All three live above Yoon's Flower Shop in the loft like apartment. Namjoon rides his bike to the Marine Outpost and Jin drives to the local Clinic, he sometimes drops Namjoon off depending on the time Jin needs to go head to work. While Yoongi doesn’t have to worry as much and enjoy his mornings with the two rushing around him.

We hope you enjoy your time here on the beautiful Island! Take a walk around and enjoy the volcanic landscape, cave-like lava tubes,  hiking trails, crater lake and Gwaneumsa Temple. Oh! The beaches! we can’t forget about the beaches, We take pride in our small piece of paradise.
