Types of BTS stans

Namjoon stans: fake deep but extremely aesthetic, the biggest perverts out of all ARMYs, would gladly drown themselves in namjoon's dimples, 50% secondhand embarrassment, 50% proud moms, wives and girlfriends

Seokjin stans: almost as fabulous as their bias and they know it, hella sassy, everyone wants to be friends with them, jin makes them either very emotional or very horny, there's no in between

Yoongi stans: sarcastic af but also very soft, they think they're savage but in reality they're sweet as sugar, actually really nice but they won't admit it, usually art hoes, yoongi spitting fire is their aesthetic

Hi there! Just a bit curious, but why do you have this idea that Jungkook would be so obsessed with appearance? It's one of the only things I seem to find personally in disagreement with your headcanons. Because I've seen a lot of shows where he meets random people off the street, sometimes unattractive ones and he always seems to treat everyone the same with a bright smile and doesn't seem concerned about others' looks who aren't himself. (He does seem very self-concerned with appearance).

Hello! Obsessed is too strong a word to use for what we’ve ever said on this blog regarding Jungkook’s beliefs towards appearance.

For starters, I think it is only normal for him to have reacted in a way that is indifferent regardless of how someone looks on the streets because

1, he’s being watched by the public, so if he does anything rude, it’s going to blow up and

2, it’s only polite to react in that manner.

This does not mean that he has serious issues with people who fall into the not-so-attractive category, because it’s only mere interaction with strangers. Moreover, in that moment, he isn’t searching for his other half, which also means he isn’t particularly attracted to the person just because he’s seen interacting with him/her. All of what we see of him interacting with strangers, are clear to him that he’s being filmed/watched by his fans. If he were to be mean and shoot a disgusted look or something of that sort because he feels repelled by someone’s appearance (which honestly, I don’t ever see happening), he’s going to get a lot of hate and he’s going to lose fans.

Secondly, we honestly never know what these idols are thinking. When you meet them in person, and you tell them things, some they would really appreciate, but some they can feel really uncomfortable with. For example - older fans (noonas) sometimes still call their idols oppas. The idols who are on the receiving end respond with a bright smile, but are they really okay with it? A fan once asked Jungkook during a fansign on a post-it, something along the lines of what he feels about noona fans calling him oppa. He drew this. It’s his honest feelings on the inside, but does he ever show it on the outside? He simply smiles and pretends that he’s okay with it/likes it because again, if he reacts otherwise, it could bring great hurt to a large scale of fans because given Jungkook’s age, there are many fans who are definitely older than him.

Thirdly, everything that we’ve ever said about Jungkook’s thoughts/feelings towards appearance are mainly and most likely only referring to his other half. When we say he’d care about appearance, we don’t mean he’s not going to befriend you or talk to you just because you aren’t handsome/pretty, but it simply means that he’d most probably end up falling for a girl who is pretty.

And finally, as I’ve attached with almost every other post, whatever we say on this blog, they are all our humble opinions. Everyone has their own opinions, but they may not be right. I’m speaking from what I’ve observed, and from my minute knowledge of how bts are as people, and by what they’ve ever said. No one is ever going to be able to predict things about them accurately unless they are kins to the boys/they are with these boys a whole lot.
