Calypso Xaymaca is originally from Jamaica (yes i'm aware Jamaica doesn't exist there ROLL WITH ME), and came from a big family with nine siblings. She remembers she has a twin brother, but that's about it. She came from a pretty wealthly family, people who could be considered royalty on her island.

She loves all animals, singing and listening to music, and being as much of a menace as she can be around NRC campus without getting in too much trouble. She is also 6'0! She stands on business and does not take disrespect from anyone. As she says, her hands are rated E for everyone. (Literally. She WILL fight a housewarden.)

Her favorite season is either fall or winter, mostly because of the holidays! Her favorites are Christmas and Boxing Day, or Offering Day. Weather doesn't change much where she's from, so she's used to balmy, hot weather pretty much year round, with a few exceptions.

She does have her favorites, but she won't tell who, obviously. It's for everyone to find out when she's ready.

She cannot live without having a playlist for every mood. It's a must.

Her birthday is March 25th, she's an Aries. :)

She's surprisingly good at hand to hand combat, but whenever she's asked about it, she just shrugs and says, "Eh. Notin' to worry 'bout." (Her Jamaican Patwah/Patois slips through sometimes, so here's a website that can help translate!) She can be a bit rude/sarcastic to some people, but most of the time it's never with ill intention. Most of the time.

She has a preference for spicy food, and will try anything once! She is basically immune to spice, though, since back at home she had something spicy with almost every meal.

She doesn't care for Crowley much and finds him a bit annoying, but puts up with/tolerates him nonetheless.

She's the Ramshackle Dorm Housewarden (in her eyes, it's not official. Let her be delusional/aff)

Takes care of her appearance, and often does her hair/makeup, but she will get down and dirty if need be. She is not above straightening someone out if they're getting out of line.

Calypso is from Ocho Rios, Jamaica! She sometimes talks using her Jamaican Patois to confuse people because she finds it funny, but she mainly uses regular English with a slight accent.

5 ~ Please be nice to me OOC. Sometimes my replies are slow, because I do have a life outside of RP. Being mean in RP is cool, as long as it goes with the thread/the character.

6 ~ Communication is key!! If an RP thread isn't working for you/you want to drop it (given you provide me a reason) DM me and let me know! I'm actually nice I swear ( T . T )

7 ~ Just be respectful/nice in general on here. No hate of any kind will be tolerated.

8 ~ I can basically do any type of RP, just no asterisks. Please :) (Example: *throws*, *gasps*, *laughs*, etc.)

9 ~ Minors can interact with this blog, as there will be no NSFW present. Suggestive humor at most, but even then, it will be mild. But, I do ask that if you are under the age of 17, you shy away from my main. Please and thank you :)

10 ~ If I follow you (and let you know about my side blogs), and I am not followed back within a week, I will unfollow. Nothing against you, it just makes my life easier.

Also, this is a multi-ship blog. Meaning - Calypso has no set S/O or age, and it can change depending upon who she's being shipped with.

Why did you add that new rule? Just out of curiosity

Basically to save myself the anxiety and headache

To sum it up: I followed someone (they’re mutuals only, nothing wrong with that), interacted with them a little, they never followed back, and I decided it wasn’t worth it because it was wearing on me so I just unfollowed

I won’t worry about someone who won’t worry about me, basically

Unless someone I unfollow follows me in the future, then I will no longer interact with them

And also I’m probably gonna be leaning towards/selective towards my mutuals and prioritize them in rp

How’ve you been, kiddo? Been a while since I’ve talked with ya, yeah? Anywho, I figured I’d catch ya up on the stuff that’s been happenin’. For one thing…I got to meet Leona’s family! All real nice folks, his nephew is just adorable. Leona says he can’t stand the lil guy, but I know he’s just bluffin’.

Second, I figured out that I may or may not have some magic…? Kinda?? I don’t know, it’s weird, and I ain’t fully figured it out either. I was plannin’ to talk with some of the teachers here to maybe get to the bottom of it all…and maybe feathers for brains (Crowley) if I absolutely need to. I guess it started when weird stuff started happenin’ ‘round me. If I were to list them all, we’d be here all day.

And third, I finally finished refurbishin' and redecoratin' my dorm! It took a while, but I managed to scrounge around for some money and supplies. ...And Leona and Rosie kinda helped me.

I think we can all relate to this and needs to be said

If I don’t reply to you right away I’m either busy or probably don’t have a device with me

Don’t reblog stuff that people don’t want you to reblog (especially their ooc post that they don’t want reblog mainly vents)

Short replies are okay just something that isn’t like one sentence

Don’t spam @ in reblogs unless you want more people to join the thread that’s okay but spamming the @ of the one person isn’t good for an rp because they will most definitely get the notification

People have a life outside of roleplaying so if they don’t respond that doesn’t mean you have to spam their DMs or inbox

Time zones are also important factor tell people your timezone so you can have more planned out responses (trust me I know so many rpers in different time zones)

Most importantly read people’s rules on their blog it’s a common practice and should most definitely be the first you do before you follow them

Just wanted to mention these as I see a lot of people having issues with these and I feel like this should be said more often
