I can't afford a plastic cover. We want to build a new waterproof tent to protect my children from the winter. I want tarpaulins to put over the tent we live in. We are drowning from the heavy rains. Also the weather is cold. We can't live without winter supplies. The prices here are very expensive and we can't afford to buy them.

My days are filled with uncertainty, and my nights with prayer. We have lost so much. Our home was damaged, our sense of safety taken from us. But through all of this, I try to keep going. I try to hold on to what little peace I can create with my hands, my words, and my love.

I am not asking for much. Just a little help to keep our lives from falling further apart. To fix the small things — a cracked wall, a leaking roof, the pieces of daily life that help us hold on to dignity.

dude I am so sorry for the ask but how do I get my articles published? I have Zip's draft page but I don't know how to get it added to the mascotcon :'( i'm gonna go fiddle with it and i'm waiting for the Backrooms blog to reply :) have a good day cool artist

the process is a lot easier for art pages than it is for articles! there's a decent guide for artpages here, but the gist is:

assuming you have a wikidot account, tell a site staff member you'd like to submit art and ask them for the posting password. one of the admins (bluesignet) actually runs the tumblr account, so she should be able to hook you up there

once you have that, you can make a new url on the wiki (in your case, probably just "zip" at the end of the base url), and then put the password AND "art:[art page name]" in the password field. the guide doesn't mention you need both but you do.

and then you have a free page to make! it pretty much comes down to uploading the image, including it in the site's code, and adding a title/description. steps 5-10 in the guide do a good job of this

since you're making a mascotcon page, you'll want to add "mascotartcon2024" to the tags as well as "art". there's a couple other stuff regarding parenting that i can explain further, but there's a good chance either blue or another staff member can take care of that for you! probably.
