I dunno if it's just bc of the corner of the fandom I'm in but I literally don't know a single normal Luis fan. You either don't specifically care for him, or you're insane about him. I don't know anyone who's like, "oh, Luis, he's a pretty cool yeah (:". Just "ah yeah he's a companion in the game" or "HOLY SHIT MY HUSBAND MY BLORBO MY MAN"

he probably never got a memorial, a funeral, and definitely not a proper burial.

the only person who cared about his death was probably leon

the world never got to know who he was. just what he did and what he caused. and he never got to make up for it no matter how desperately he wanted to try

so he's still down there with little to no one carrying on his memory.

there is no grave, and nobody would visit it anyways.

always interesting to me how the main thing that a lot of people focus on with Carlos is his humor.

I understand why; he's very humorous throughout the story, and sometimes is the only person in the room trying to diffuse tension.

But I think it would be a richer show of this character to emphasize his boldness. He doesn't waste time.

Both he and Jill are rough around the edges, but they contrast each other; Jill is more reserved while Carlos is more outward. You can see him strategizing, you can see when he makes up his mind. He's so animated in his body language, his voice, and his choice of words. And he's always ready to put an idea into action. When he sees someone who needs help, he runs to pick them up.

He's full of warmth and action. And hope!! he's very hopeful!
