GreenHouse #Day4

We've got movement!!! Only day 4 and op\ur first seedlings have scratched the surface!

I really didn't do much, to be honest. Only made sure there was enough water [there is actually always a lair of water on the bottom] and made sure there was enough light exposure. As of today, I started using a pitcher to heat the greenhouse some more. I feel like that would be a good idea. it makes the greenhouse well... extra warm and humid. So the first plant that has scratched the surface is the....

The Dream

Sooo if everything works out and I feel like I can keep everything up with the plants... Then, eventually, I would like to start growing Bonsai trees. However... I'm not delusional and I know to be able to do that I need a lot more experience. But who knows what the future will bring right? maybe I will even be able to sell them at some point ... that would be awesome :)

The big greenhouse, new addition to the plant life :D read what this greenhouse contains here The system is amazing... and it's only € 25,- at the boerenbond. I only wished It was even a little bit higher off the ground. I'm pretty small and even for me, it's not super comfortable to work at this height. On the other hand, the height also gives a lot of advantages. I'm happy with it.

GreenHouse #Day2

Day 2 of our project has arrived. Of course, not much has changed... just trying to find a good spot and temperature balance for the greenhouse. I have been infected with the grow fever XD and I spend the day expending the possibilities. In the store tuinwereld I purchased flower bulbs [pictures coming at the end of this post]. Then, I needed a bigger greenhouse for them. It took me a while, going after the biggest "green" stores to end up in my own hometown buying these amazing greenhouses for 25 euros at Boerenbond [name of a store]. At this moment both greenhouses are standing inside my home because well... I live in the Netherlands and the temperature goes up and down too much [I think]. So... what did I plant in the new greenhouse?

first a little disclaimer... I'm in no way an expert in this... I'm just trying things out. Second, the new greenhouse I will probably refer to as the big greenhouse and the previous greenhouse [in my post yesterday] will be called the small greenhouse or seed greenhouse maybe. now the seeds I planted:

GreenHouse #Day 1

Starting up a new project. Well at least we are going to try. Unfortunatly I have the tendensy to loose interest fairly quickly. I’ve had a kitchen garden before. Growing different herbs and vegetables... [thanks too Albert Heijn starting this amazing hype]. But it just didn’t stick. I ended up not using/eating any of it. Not sure why and then I just quit all together. Now, however, I have my own appartment, my own stuff and we are going to things a little differently. Instead of focussing on eatible things [and ending up trowing it away] I’m focussing more on flowers. Now this is day one. And in the greenhouse I planted the following:

- strawberries

- Amaranthus Caudatus (rode kattenstaart/love-lies bleeding)

- Veronica Spicata (ereprijs blauw/ speedwell blue)

- cactus mixture Last but not least... - Coriandrum Sativum (koriander/coriander)
