Hey there, My name is Frank Qum, a trans woman living with my trans fellows in Gorom Refugee Camp in South Sudan. However, we face numerous challenges every day. We experience constant discrimination, attacks, and a lack of basic needs such as food, medication, and lubricants.

The people around us are highly homophobic and transphobic, which leads to our isolation. Even doctors refuse to provide us with proper medical care. Some of us were born with HIV, but we do not receive enough treatment and support due to the discrimination we face.

There are times when we go for days without food or essential supplies. Life here is extremely difficult, and we struggle to survive in an environment where we are rejected by the very people who should be helping us.
