Description: Lelye is the youngest child of Feanaro and Nerdanel, born in Formenos a few years prior to the Noldor’s return to Beleriand, she would have been a toddler during the crossing. Each elven pregnancy takes energy and spirit from the mother (and father), given that Nerdanel had seven previous pregnancies, Lelye was a surprise- but nonetheless welcome. However, it was much more of a struggle for her to be carried to term, she was born prematurely, and was frail and ill the first weeks of her life which was worrisome to Feanor, sparking fears of what had happened to his mother, happening to his youngest child. Due to this fear, Feanor used unorthodox methods to strengthen her spirit to allow her to live. Though it isn’t known exactly what was done, there are rumors of him breaking his banishment to take his child to the pools of Telpirion’s sap, using the magical substance to cure her. Others say that he used the remainder of his invention, silima to cure her, regardless of his method, the next Lelye was seen again by her brothers or mother, her black hair had turned silver, near white and her grey eyes were now like mirrors.

After the events of the darkening, and the flight of the Noldor, her fathers death and Maedhros’ abduction, she was raised by Maglor until the return of her elder brother, then proceeded to spend her young life traveling between her four elder brothers abodes, with occasional visits south to see Amrod and Amras. Due to the troublesome nature of her birth, despite the cure her father had given her, she grew up physically weak, with a tendency to fall ill or lethargic and because of this, her brothers sheltered her, keeping her hidden from public eye and protected at any cost. Because of this and traits inherited from both mother and father, she grew endlessly curious as to what life was like, what the world was like outside of the comfort of her brothers protection, and this would get her in trouble relatively often. Lelye had a love for nature from a very early age, a knack for growing anything her heart desired so long as she had seed and proper resources, and a bond with animals similar to that of Celegorm or the twins Ambarussa. As she grew older, the powers she had gained due to her father’s intervention in her health began to show, her affinity for nature becoming mystical and the gift of magic and sorcery given to some elves presented itself in her. It took years of self learning, taking help wherever she could, but primarily her own exploration of her powers and skills, many hardships and lessons learned, but soon she had earned a reputation for herself beyond that of her inherited titles and family name.

Lelye never took the Oath of Feanor, being too young when it was sworn by her brothers, and wise enough to avoid doing so when older, and she never participated in kin slayings, though was always there to heal her brothers when they returned injured. Though, before the second kin slaying, her brothers foresaw the path that their Oath would take them, and not wanting to curse their sister to follow them, she was gifted a cottage in the woods, built by them to keep her safe and hidden where she could practice her witchcraft as she wished. Still, after the second kin slaying, she offered them shelter in her new home, and a place to heal, as well as after the third. From that cottage she continued to live her life; secluded, though for those who needed her help and were of pure intention, she would clear a path.

After the climax of the first age, she migrated to Eregion, grieving there and giving guidance to her nephews. She sailed West after the death of Celebrimbor to beg pardon from the Valar for her families sins as well as some of her own.

Personality: Curious, kind, helpful, somewhat childish with a hint of mischief, stubborn, lustful, introverted, emotional, sensitive.

Please help two girls in love make their dreams come true!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, and that reason being is that life has gotten very busy for me, but in the best way possible. Over the past year I have developed a serious relationship with a girl who makes my heart do somersaults and brightens my life, and I have been working very hard to save money to move over seas and be with her. However, with the current economic situation in the United States it is very difficult to both make enough money to pay for my basic necessities such as rent, insurance and grocery and put money aside, even working a full time job.

I started a Plumfund fundraiser in order to hopefully reach my goal so that I can move to be with her and be able to help support ourselves while waiting to get a Visa so that I could continue to work.

Any Donations would be extremely appreciated and welcome!
