Today I gave Buggy prickly sow thistle, minus the prickly part since I cut it off. I did my research and it it’s safe for buns to eat, and we don’t treat the backyard so the weeds theoretically should be safe for him to eat. I just gave him one leaf to see how his tummy will handle it. If he’s okay with it, I’ll just give him the rest of what’s in the backyard.

I just wanted to know if any other bun owners give their buns sow thistle and if they can eat the flowers on them.

I got Buggy a snuffle mat on Tuesday and this thing is already getting destroyed 😭

You can see he already tore up some of the edges and he also made holes in the fabric too. I may have to end up trashing it since I don’t want him to digest any of the fabric or backing. Time to find a toy that’s made to be destroyed by my savage bun.

I’m very sorry for forgetting about this blog so have some Buggy content.

His black fur is very shiny.

Buggy is quite old for a bunny. He’s a rescue so I don’t know the exact age but I’ve had him for 5-6 years. Since I don’t know how much time he has left, I’d like to continue sharing pics and vids of him for people to enjoy. He seems to be healthy. He does have a chronic issue of having some sort of fungal thing on his chin where it gets crusty but the vet told me it’s not life threatening. I give him an ointment for it occasionally but it’s difficult to rub it on his chin because my little old bunny man FIGHTS BACK EVERY TIME. I would do it consistently otherwise but I don’t like stressing him out because I know how sensitive bunnies are to stress. But I think he’s doing alright given his age.

Buggy went upstairs today and gave my arm a piece of his mind.

He mostly just lied down, which I can understand because he does get stressed when he gets picked up. After a while he comes back around though. I let him chill out and he ran around a bit. I mostly just wanted him out of his pen so he has more room to run and binky but I didn’t have a lot of time to let him out today.

Arm post bunny grabbing. When I went to pick up my dog from the groomer she was shocked a bunny did that lol.

Sassy bunny plays hard to get when I go to pet him.

Also since the dog is going to the groomer tomorrow, that means he gets to get out of his pen. However he doesn’t like going on tile so usually he won’t walk around much unless I grab him and take him upstairs where there is carpet. But he hates being picked up and gives me a hard time lol. So I guess we’ll find out tomorrow if he stays downstairs or upstairs for his day out depending on how he cooperates.

I want to clean him up because he looks so scraggly with his fur sticking out but he is being sassy with me and doesn’t want me to pull his loose tufts out. He sheds so much he literally spawns dust bunnies inside the house daily.

Hi this is a blog for my bunny Buggy. My art main blog is @lunar-cerulean.

My friends like seeing pictures of my little handsome man and I figured Tumblr might too.

Fun facts about Buggy. He’s always shedding. He’s a rescue so we don’t know his age but probably around five years old. He’s some sort of lop. He will stare at you as you get his food out and waits until he feels like you throw down enough food for him to start eating. The fluff on the bottom of his thumper feet are two different colors.
