“The Island of Death” painting spotted in ‘Where You At’ Lyric teaser image.

At first I thought the painting was just a random prop, but in such a blank bedroom set having this painting stand out, pledis/members must have thought about which painting to feature.

Minhyun represents the figure in white, transitioning to the after world, but in Minhyun’s case he’s lost in a parallel universe, possibly with the Queen, away from the other members. It’s confirmed that Overcome and Love Paint are set in a fantasy world.

MY THEORY-

The 5 versions of painting = The 5 members of NU’EST, in the order in which they joined the group.

It just happens to be, that the 4th Person to join NU’EST was Minhyun, and the 4th painting of “The island of Death” was destroyed during WW2(pic of photograph of it above). Leaving only 4 paintings behind = Leaving only 4 members behind, as he cannot be with NU’EST right now (is in wanna one aka is in another world).

I’ve been informed that the water at the bottom of painting has been cut off, making it looks like the painting seeps into the (the clear glass looks like water)

OK I know my theory is reaching lol but the others seem legit. Plus I really feel there being 5 versions of the Painting, if Pledis/members simply looked up the Painting that featured in their teaser, which they likely did, they would know it’s 5 original versions. So who knows it could mean something. 

Once the MV is out on Oct 10th the story will make sense.
