After the success of both the KICHEN & BAFROOM, it was time to tackle another room in the house that needed much love & attention… kids rooms.

This set contains items suitable for kids of all ages; including a new bassinet for babies, cute toddler beds, through to new toys and furniture pieces for your children. This set may be aimed at kids, but you will be able to use many of the pieces all over your Sims’ homes. Of course as always with our sets, there are a truck load of swatches & matching wood tones!!!

Please note that the bassinet is available as a default override & as a decorative object. All items in this set are Base Game compatible.

So here’s the new objects we got with Eco Lifestyle for those who are still undecided.

I haven’t played yet, so I cannot give an opinion about gameplay, but from a builder’s perspective this pack is very interesting and i 100% reccomend it. The only thing I would have loved to have are: slinding doors and the vertical plants decor (both the vertical garden and the ivy-like plant decoration with the wooden frame -I don’t remember the name of-) for all wall height, but there will surely be modders that will fix that.

This set has been a long time coming. When City Living was first announced I had an idea. That idea was to make a set that would allow me to recreate my dream apartments in San Myshuno with brick arches and that warehouse/brownstone feel. After arduous planning, meshing, then testing, they are finally ready to be shared with you all. These have become some of my favourite decor pieces to use in my builds as they work great inside and out giving a build depth and detail that prior to this was not possible in my game.

This is an interesting post by @savvysweet regarding @grimcookies‘s recent video about darker skin tones in The Sims 4. It sums up the content of said video (which i reccommend you to watch) and adds a few fixes, ovverrides and cc that gives you better black skintones.

OK, Lets Discuss a topic that has been something that has been on my mind in recent days. Recently @grimcookies made an intriguing and informative video on the darker skin-tones and how they need to be fixed and how makeup doesn’t look as good on darker skin tones in the game. I suggest watching that video for a bit more insight.

The sad truth is, The Sims darker skin-tones aren’t made very well. They look very ashy and have no vibrancy. When the sims game initially came out in 2014, The game had little to no range for darker-skinned people, and the shades that they did have were very bad. In February of 2018, The Sims added a few more darker shades which brought the total to 10 medium to dark shades.

Those additional shades that they added, on the four darkest shades, a small patch of discoloration surrounds the nose. The existing makeup in the game also doesn’t look quite right on those new tones. For instance, adding lipstick creates an out of place line around the edges of a Sims’ lips.

Representation matters! We deserve to accurately show and represent ourselves. This game has shown growth in many areas but we still have a long way to go. It has been 6 years since the release of this game and we are still waiting for more representation. We shouldn’t have to rely on CC to get the representation that we deserve. For a game that prides itself on inclusivity I think that there should be a color-wheel for the sims skin-tones. There already is a color wheel for PETS in the game and I think that Sims should have the ability to do so as well. I want to start a petition to get more skins-tones that accurately represent us and our diversity. If you want to sign you can click HERE

Hello Everyone:),

This is a little thank you from me and @harrie-cc for all the support we received on Tiny Twavellers. Harrie is using these doors in her ‘Dream Appartment’ , feel free to check out her speedbuild :).

I created those doors when I started sharing my cc, thats 2,5 years ago. Since then I worked on my texturing technique and on my colour palette. These doors needed a make over as I love using it myself a lot. Its slightly simpler and will come in 18 colours. I hope you enjoy it and thank you so much again!!!!
