Petey sighed as he eyed his reflection over in the window. In his opinion, he didn’t look much like a Head Boy, even with the full ensemble slung over him. Actually, with the smallest blazer they had still hanging off of him like the pelt of a large, navy lion and the tie dangling down below the ends of his button-down shirt, he looked more like he had stolen a prefect’s clothes. Only the shiny Head Boy badge identified him. It was genuine. He was in charge - an authority figure; someone the littlest kids would look up to. Figuratively, he thought, blinking accusingly at his reflection, which was diminutive and ineffectual. Perhaps if he started acting like a Head Boy, things would change, and he’d grow more comfortably into this image in the window. No, he wasn’t about to go chasing people through campus and tackling rule-breakers, that wasn’t how things would get better, but he could try to be a little more like Jimmy, he supposed. Jimmy was some kind of diplomatic wunderkind, and if his words didn’t solve problems he could definitely use his fists. Maybe Petey could employ a little bit of that bravado for himself. This was a fresh start, after all. He had everything he needed, a foundation of being respected in the form of new clothes and a gleaming badge, sticking out proudly on his chest. All he had to do was build from here. The thought was kind of daunting. He wasn’t sure he could it it: waltz out of the dorm with his head held high like he was cock of the walk all of the sudden.  Odds were, someone would just dump him in a trash can and things would be back the way they were. What could he do about it, really? Except run and tell one of the other prefects, and that would make him a tattletale and a whiner, and any chance of being a respected figure at Bullworth would go right down the drain. No, the was no other option but to go out and actually be a good Head Boy. Do Head Boy stuff and not let anyone push him around. With a sigh, he shrugged off his blazer and began unbuttoning his shirt. Maybe tomorrow. For now, he wanted to be Petey Kowalski, the kid in the pink shirt who everyone ignored. Boring, maybe. Useless, without a doubt. But until he felt confident that he was deserving of being Head Boy, there was no point in trying. Jimmy could keep people in line until then. He was a good friend and a better leader, and eventually Petey would prove that Jimmy hadn’t made a bad choice when he’d told Crabblesnitch about shy Pete Kowalski, who didn’t really talk much.

Overhaul time!

They say when one door shuts another one slams, or something like that, but the point is that one of our oldest RPers has decided to step down, having served above and beyond the call of duty since the founding of the RP. A fantastic Gary, sultry Lola, hilarious Russell and a great yawning void to be leftin my heartbehind as Beatrice, without her at times there might have beennoRP, so I have no doubt that she will be sorely missed.

However, far to make things all doom and gloom, this presents some brand-new opportunities to those who found the RP just a little too late in the game and thought 'Oh darnit, I wished I could've been that person', because these roles are all hereby reopened!

P.S. I just felt I wanted to add this for anyone who feels like they might like to do something like this, but are scared/intimidated/don't know how it works, and all I have to say is DON'T PANIC. All you need to RP is a grasp of the character you're playing and how to string words together in a sentence, and there is absolutely no reason to be shy about participating (anyone being abusive or bullying of another RPer's ability would be in deep trouble). If everyone was too shy nothing would happen at all, so if you're just curious or don't know if you'd be 'good' enough feel free to message this account for more details or just a chat about what it is you might like to do.

EDIT: resident-sociopath a.k.a. Gary is to be considered up and running again, sorry folks he's a boy in high demand.

Certain time restraints and differences make various hours 'peak times', but I will endeavour to be on all evening (UK & US time), so if you're part (or just interested) in the RP drop in for a chat! We will hopefully be swapping ideas for RPs, discussing new features or having some good old fashioned nerding out.

There will also be some new features/games to encourage a boost in activity, as well as some measures to look into maintaining activity and getting us all in the same place at more-or-less the same time.

New positions open!

Having served the RP extremely well for the past few months, the brains behind Mr. Galloway and Zoe Taylor has chosen to resign from her accounts due to time/activity constraints. While a sadness she has to leave, it also presents an opportunity to new players to audition for the roles. If you fancy yourself a Zoe or an inebriated Mr. Galloway warning, Lola may hit on you then don't hesitate to audition.

We also have plenty of other open characters still, and much more fun to be had.

Another position that I would like to open up for interest is co-moderation of the admin account with me. This is a rather tedious position that will largely involve checking the account for new messages, covering for your co-mod while they are away, and updating various pages on the main account. If you're interested in the role (for experience in modding or just because) send me a message and we can discuss it further.

He didn't even bother to raise his hands to protect his face.  He was proud of himself.  Her fist connected to the skin of his cheek, yet he stood there and took it like a man.  Didn't make a sound.  It didn't sting, nor bruise.  Certainly didn't stop him from smirking like a major douchebag, much less remarking, "So are we still on for Homecoming, baby?"

A few more crude insults erupted from his mouth. Comments about how he'd still do her even if she was fat (when, honestly, she really wasn't), about how she was ugly, about how she wouldn't ever find any guy better than him.  Anything to show her and everyone else that he wasn't hurt at all.  She didn't win, and he wasn't scared of nothing.  Not even some ugly chick rejecting him then giving him a good smack on the face.  Whatever.  He was way out of her league, anyway.  

After all, who else had the guts to jam a large needle into their thighs every three days?  He fancied that all the rich kids and nerds at Bullworth would cry like girls at the sight of a little shot.  But him?  After just one lesson from Burton, he had to do it himself.  Past the first injection, it barely hurt.

Although, those zits on his back were getting really annoying.  And he was getting pretty aggro lately.  Usually, he wouldn't mouth off that badly to a chick, even if she was being high-horsed.  He rushed those notions out of his head when he gazed upon the good, old gridiron.  A large hand reached out; he waved to his fellow jocks, who waited around in their circles like they always did.

Burton told him that it wasn't a drug.  Maybe he's worrying too much.

Exciting New Features!

Announcing two new features to the Bullworthless-RP, for the benefit of roleplayers and non-roleplayers alike!

The first is the QDB or Quote Database. A collection of quotes or links to certain posts that entertained or amused me while going back over the RP history to compile the school archive. However, don't content yourself with going to read over some of the highlights and funny moments that you might have missed between posts, submit some of your own!

The second is the School Archive, where I have attempted to compile a reading method and list of all the 3rd person narratives/paras that we've had, so that anyone interested in the story of Mr. Burton and the sickly Hobo, why Gary hates Kittens, Derby's underage drinking habit or the good ship the S.S Brent can find links to each roleplay without having to trawl through our history. Turns out we got a lot done in just a few months, well done everyone!

Oh and the new Rules have some extra info for anyone curious and some sneaky easter eggs too.

A New Home for Old Awesome.

In lieu of the regrettable need of the previous admin to step down, this account is the new home for the Bullworthless roleplay to continue business as usual. I sincerely hope no one perceives this as an insult to the former admin, just a wish to carry on their wonderful legacy.

There are a few new features coming, and I hope that we can continue to gain characters and carry on roleplaying with much success in the future.
