I was recently rewatching the LGIEF live streams and it's so funny how they're so sibling coded with Esther (MiaoMiao) and Ding (Mu Sheng) being disgusted or shocked anytime Yang Shize (Liu Fuyi) says or does anything that could be considered even just slightly flirty in regards to Bambi Zhu (Mu Yao).

I was recently scrolling on douyin and found kindred spirits who were just as starved as me for more Shangguan He and Song Yiting content lol, and I've been thinking this for a while, but ADWAD didn't really have much promotion?

It's probably just scheduling but I was dying for them to promote ADWAD on shows like Hello Saturday or Laugh Together and I feel so vindicated because many users were talking about being starved for content outside of the drama lol. Like, I literally found an edit of them but with different characters they've played.

On the plus side however, I have accumulated much loved meme material from all my sleuthing.

(The description in this post from 一个小甜姜 is also just so funny to me, like we're all starved for content.)

The funniest part however is people commenting that they can't eat chicken/fillet forever under videos/posts of Bambi Zhu (Song Yiting's actress) and Riley (Yilun) Wang (Shangguan He's actor), which is a reference to LGIEF and Yang Shize who played her love interests as Liu Fuyi. (And as someone who loves both of these ships, I'm literally dying lol. Note, a bts shows a version of the scene where Song Yiting actually covers Shangguan's lips with her fingers during the chess scene had me too giggly.)

The cast interaction is so cute, but I just felt like posting this for Song Yiting and Shangguan He crumbs. Riley (who plays Shangguan) commented on Bambi's (who plays Yiting) end of drama post.

The translation is probably wonky since it's auto translated by the page but the cast all interacting with each other and commenting on one another's post is so cute. I've added a link to a post on the drama microblog with some of the actors Weibo accounts linked. Would recommend just cruising around.

(Side note: The translation is messed up here but he's basically asking about the name of the baby in Shangguan He's stomach lol. And the name translates to "Song Waimai/Takeaway(?) Shangguan Ting".)

I feel like I always get the most gut-wrenching, I-wanna-cry-but-no-tears-will-release-so-I-have-to-sit-with-my-anguish, post-series depression whenever I'm super attached to the secondary couple of the show.

I was editing a clip and just realized that the background music for the romantic moments between Shangguan He and Song Yiting is literally her instrument.

I know this has been said, but the music is just so good in this drama. Their song is so dreamy and romantic and the score for all the different scenes just make this drama so much better. I can't wait to rewatch this in a few months/years and fall in love all over again!
