Eaton family, Roaring Heights - #38

It snowed the whole day at Roaring Heights, the cold weather prompting for some hot coco, cozy blankets, warm food and other indoor activities. But a few people had other things in mind.

Kim decided to visit her parents in the graveyard, hoping for some clarity and a sign regarding the life-changing decision she made the other night.

Maybe it's wrong, she thought. Mortal humans shouldn't get too greedy and selfish and seek immortality.

But I want to have a new and exciting life. I don't think it's wrong to try other things.

She didn't get any clarity or a sign. Whatever will be, will just be. She'd just let things unfold and decide from there.

And that day came by so quick. One evening, at the Capp and Shear house party, she finally completed her metamorphosis, and it felt really good - this new life's not so bad after all. She went to bed that night with hope and excitement for the new things to come.

The following morning, Sharla visited her late parents' graves, telling them how much she misses them and asking for their guidance and care from the afterlife.

Eaton family, Roaring Heights - #37

For many days, everything in the household felt somewhat "sluggish, stagnant", a huge contrast to their old life when there were still no kids and their parents were still alive. No new adventures and activities, always just work and kids.

This was the reason Kim picked up a new hobby - inventing. Thanks to the improved library, Kim can just drive there with her junk metal and start tinkering in the workshop area there. She saw Sharla the other day messing with junk metal and came up with a beautiful sculpture, so she thought, why not try working with the material, too?

It still didn't satisfy her curiosity and thirst for excitement and new adventures, so she thought another way to solve that - become a vampire.

One early evening, the whole household decided to go to the winter festival grounds for a change of scenery and to have fun. Kim made it first to the festival grounds, while the couple were still with their kids going on a stroll to the park. She saw Alessandro there, a close friend who's also a famous actor and a vampire, so she asked him to turn her. Her arm became a bit itchy for a while.

The next day, before sunrise, the first snow of the season poured down on the dry, clean and quiet streets of Roaring Heights.

Eaton family, Roaring Heights - #36

With them being really busy with their parenting, jobs and side gigs, Sharla and Anton finally found some time for them one evening. They couldn't resist each other, they forgot they're really not alone that time - her sister Kim was sculpting on the side, and told them to "get a room". So, that's what they did.

The next day, Kim finally finished her beautiful stone sculpture, while the couple were still sleeping and the toddlers playing.

Eaton family, Roaring Heights - #35

Art commissions from both sisters were successfully submitted, and it's time to celebrate!

Sharla and Anton both went to The Palm Tree Bar that night to unwind and enjoy after days of full work and parenting. Kim decided to rest at home and look after the toddlers.

After just a few days, Sharla got another commission from famous musical composer Luther Hooper - a metal sculpture. Seeing this as another blessing that keeps on giving, she happily accepted and went straight to work on it in between her full-time job and parenting.

In just a short amount of time, she completed it and turned it over to Luther. The client was very happy with it and was given a hefty payment for it, fit for a highly skilled artist like her.

Eaton family, Roaring Heights - #34

It's not always just work and kids for the young adults - there were also parties from time to time. After all, they're also socialites.

The following days have been normal, but exciting for the sisters Sharla and Kim.

In the midst of flowers and sweet words, Sharla shared a big opportunity with her husband - she got commissioned by the Gilded Guard Police Station to create an ice sculpture, and she thought of asking Anton to be her model.

Who wouldn't want the likeness of the famous rock star to liven up a somewhat dreary space like a police station?

It seemed that Anton himself was an exception to that. His ice sculpture, while crafted so beautifully by his artistic wife, gave him a slight discomfort one night while he's trying to sleep. It's too realistic, but in a creepy way. Just standing there looking over them.

Meanwhile, Kim was commissioned by the famous director Sonia Corcoran to create a small painting for her.

Eaton family, Roaring Heights - #33

Welcome back to the Eaton household! But first, a little rundown on what previously happened and what changed...

The family's beloved matriarch, Diana, already passed away due to old age. It was a sad thing that she's not able to see her new grandchildren when she was still alive...

Now...

Sharla and Kim grew up to be beautiful and bright young adults, both thriving in their own careers and crafts.

Sharla is now married to Anton Reeves, famous rock star and son of Clyde Reeves, and a parent to two cute babies named Elise and Ronnie. After focusing on the toddlers for years and being a stay-at-home mom, she finally joined the Professional Sports career, while still getting some art commissions from time to time.

Kim is now a self-employed sculptor, and have been making many beautiful sculptures from various materials for selling and commissions. Sometimes, she loves making small sculptures inspired by her nephew and niece.

Wallis family, Roaring Heights - #11

That one night encounter surely left an impact on Frank, like getting more inspiration to paint. He spent the following days writing love letters to her and daydreaming about her, and this didn't go unnoticed by Francine.

It got to the point where she decided to pay her a visit and have a little chat with her. Knowing what she knows about her, based on little gossips and stories that easily spread around town, she had to make sure her son wouldn't get hurt.

So, she dropped by her friend Kent's beachfront home one afternoon to talk to his daughter. Meanwhile, it's day off for her beloved horse Baby, she was out of the lot that time to roam around the Riverside Terrace neighborhood.

Francine got straight to the point - she wanted to clarify what her intentions were, as she doesn't want Frank to experience heartbreak again, and reminded Portia of his divorce to the high-ranking politician Kelsey. It was big news back then when it happened. She also knew that Portia was engaged to one of Grumpo's young sons, Jed or Kenneth - she really couldn't remember, she always mix those two. To sum it all up, she wanted her away from him if there's no serious commitment.

Portia easily agreed, as she understood that sometimes, playing can be a dangerous thing. They both hugged before Francine left the home.

With that resolved, and after having a conversation with her son after, Frank was left alone at home, daydreaming about what's next for him. Will he ever find true love again?

Wallis family, Roaring Heights - #10

The two young adults were having a grand time outside that they forgot it's already past midnight - all the guests had left and Francine went to bed.

Portia decided to stay for the night, and spend more time with Frank. She realized she couldn't go just yet, it's like he's pulling her to him every time.

As they pulled closer again, they couldn't resist kissing again - the spark and the feelings were surely there.

But before they went any further, Portia went to Francine's bedroom to test if she's deeply asleep by shouting at her with her handy megaphone. She didn't budge, so she went back to Frank.

The two spent the whole night together in each other's arms and embrace. By morning, Portia got up and left the sleeping Frank.

Wallis family, Roaring Heights - #9

Francine threw a small and intimate house party several nights later, where all the close friends and family were invited. Of course, Frank made sure to include Portia in the guest list. It was worth it because she accepted the invitation, and attended with her dad Kent by her side.

While Francine and the guests were upstairs, happily eating and chatting, Portia and Frank stayed downstairs to have their own moment. Eventually, they had their first kiss, and later, sat on the ground to watch the stars together. It didn't take too long for them to touch each other's hands.

"The stars sure are beautiful tonight," Frank whispered while looking up and glancing at another beautiful view before him.

They got back up the same time as Kent was rushing outside, who had to leave the party a bit early due to some emergency.
