"...It must be so." he says, voice giving away nothing despite the sinking in his heart by just a inch. He won't be depressed over something so obvious, he had seen the maps after all. And there was nothing familiar, and he reckon that it was another undiscovered continent. The underground tunnels from one continent to another must be far more reaching then he expected. Minerals and plans were brought with him by the bagful when he had regained human consciousnesses, a gift he thinks of his friend Denier.
"They have had too many cities underground , to be of known in the surface."
Isolation, defending your comrades. The whole thing either stunk or not, but Illumina was the memory that he left behind when he took the position of captain. For now at least, for there was surely something out there. Well he will take time with that project, its not like he's normal now. Not with his body so heavily changed , not when his true form is something one could never call human ever again.

It seems that this small trip was important after all, the reaction to simple minerals was something he should have expected but he did not know how islanders live. How little a common mineral actually was within the tropics.
"I would take it, that you are somewhat satisfied with the gifts her majesty has sent."
After all, Helios despite everything was still somewhat of a smooth talker, if at least he won't and never will insult another nation if he could help it. He's not that patriotic and contains a natural born curiosity to the world that many others had always lack, the satisfaction of their own nation preventing more curiosity from others.
Helios is perfect, but not in a high enough position to give big change. his status as a foreigner who had reach the ranks of captain is serious enough issue, a security breach already when he barely stayed for a year in Hyrule.
With the help from the two guards who followed her in, Ildra is in her element.
Box numbers are read aloud, the related crates located and brought to her. They are cracked open and she digs cautiously through the contents to check that they match what is written on the shipping rosters in her hands. With that step complete, the box is moved on for the Imperial's scrutiny and the process is repeated.
Fariah arrives two boxes in to the process, pulling out items and objects from their packing to carefully inspect them before putting them back in and moving on to the next box. So far, it seems ... safe. Standard fare for gifts, an expression of wealth, an expression of power. Gifts are rarely simply gifts, after all. Between royalty of any caliber, a gift is essentially showing off.
See how well I'm doing, and now I share it with you...
One of the boxes makes Ildra pause in her recital of articles. A box of young seedlings in shallow dirt. Enough to start and transport, certainly, not enough to keep growing if left. Fariah's lips curl upward questioningly. Certainly, the new Queen knows much of her native agriculture would not survive as well here, as much as she knows the exotic produce exported from the Three and Ten would never take in so dry and temperate a climate as the mainland. It is what would make trade essential between the two nations.
But perhaps, if there was a way to engineer them...
The Empress' mind is made up when another box is opened and stunts her Regent in her tracks. A heavy crate, finely packed, with slabs of stone that had the telltale marbling signs of...
"...Ildra, send for the agriculturalists and the geologists' corps immediately." she demands. "I want to see all of this analyzed here before it even leaves the hold."
A show of wealth and power indeed...
Although, it is also worrying. It seems out of character for Hyrule, once so stingy about their land. She understands why they were; it was hard to ignore the presence of a militaristic nation so close to home. Even if they have been on strained good terms, the Hyrulian crown of the past has almost always been paranoid old men and women who would sooner die than let a foreign power station itself nearest their capital hub. It is something she had come to expect. The tactician in her applauded them then for thinking that far, even if she knows it wasn't because they were strategically-minded.
Ildra leaves in a hurry to perform the task commanded of her and that leaves Fariah in the hold with her two guardsmen and the foreigner captain. She listens, ears snapping back toward him to hear him over the idling drone of the engine before she turns to level that gilded gaze in his eyes.
"Yes. We are regimental. Sidhe are always such, soldiery or not, because if we do not have a purpose given to us as a whole, we find our own purpose. It is finding our own purpose that made the first Ariad so needed. He was ferocious, unpredictable, and bloodthirsty. But in instating himself as the first ruler under which all clans rallied, he gave them a purpose and a discipline. It is something we continue to use to keep us in check.
"...I cannot say I have heard of Illumina. No nation comes to mind, at any rate. It must be far out of even our influence."
