alright so i guess im going to a homeless shelter. i didnt get any donations since my last donation post on the 9th. i havent gotten any call backs for the couple dozen applications i sent out. I'm using the last of my finances to get to the shelter and get some paperwork in order, hopefully from there I'll have an easier time finding work that can accommodate my disability.

donations from here on will go to my phone bill, my insurance payment, and my meds. if things go well, i might even be able to get back on hrt this year.

it really is so tiring how people have endless patience and understanding and nuance for the complexities of nonbinary genderqueer identities until you're transfem. the amount of girls who would love to be able to be treated like something other than "binary trans woman" but can't cede any ground without getting relegated to the "genderfuck man" zone is staggering. myself in-fucking-cluded. people love to yell at me about how tma/tme is a harmful binary that excludes nonbinary people AS IF IM NOT A NONBINARY GIRL YOU FUCKING MORONS. but you forgot that was an option didn't you. tired of it

while I understand queer people having anti black phases when younger and changing and I honestly commend them for changing but we do need to address how casual antiblackness is especially among the queer community and how it isolates black queers from everyone else.

and when we are rightfully upset we are treated as the perpetrators.

Begging transfemmes to stop wearing your old boy underwear if you can. Apart from a cohort of butch transfemmes that get Gender from it, I promise it’s messing with you more than you think.

I know shopping for transfemme-friendly underwear fucking sucks bc so many panty bridges aren’t made wide enough to contain everything without causing Issues but brands friendlier to us do exist.

If you tuck I can’t recommend anything because I don’t, and disclaimer that This Isnt An Ad, but I’ve had such good luck with Parade that I’ve almost exclusively bought bras/bralettes and panties from them since I discovered them.

It’s not a 100% clear shot, but they have enough sales that you can get either individual or matching sets for pretty cheap and I’ve yet to have any break or get holes on me either, even the oldest ones. Their bralettes also fit “big torso small boobs” frames really well.

I also like Culprit for sports bras but nothing else personally tbh - they also have slightly more feminine boxers that the aforementioned butch transfemmes might really like.

If you have other recs, especially for tucking underwear, please chime in bc holy fuck please please please stop wearing pre-transition Hanes/FotL/etc. men’s underwear 😭

Kind of frustrating growing up and feeling alien and unrepresented by a lesbian culture dominated by very vocal "trans women are men invading lesbian spaces" rhetoric only to watch as literal trans men become a rampant feature of artistic representations of lesbianism. Especially after trans women attempting to clarify the definition of transmisogyny is called bioessentalism. Whatever is valid and all that, just feels like another sign of just how little value is placed on lesbians like me in the broader community: saying "people who aren't transfem don't experience or get to define transmisogyny" is bioessentialist, but the hordes of people drawing dudes with pussies being the backbone of lesbian relationships is completely disconnected from even a hint of bioessentalism. Just sayin' get your shit straight at least if you don't want people to point out how incongruent and bigoted it is.
