i love when you’re reading smut and you can tell the author is starting to lose their senses as they’re writing because i was reading a one shot and the author wrote the instructional dialogue from the character to reader to have their “ass down and face up” and it had me cackling so hard

What was ur fave chapter of tlal to write and what’s ur fav chapter in general—like if u were a reader

my fav chapters are always the newest ones i write 😭 but honestly my favorite to write was either “mitras: day one” for the pure comedy factor and “run to me” for the angst and the surprise reunion with a certain blonde with a scar on his nose

my fav in general was “to you” and “a quiet life”, a lot of the planning and back story was very strategically mentioned throughout the story, and then a lot of those small details that didn’t seem like much before suddenly became monumental fragments of a broken and battered mosaic. So it all comes together in a strangely satisfying way, the small references, the little moments of pained memories and evading questions, and all the lies. Those two chapters were each 16k so a total of 32k in a span of 4 days i was very excited for those chapters from the beginning of the story

wait, so why did eren mention mikasa that one time he and yn were talking abt either movies or songs? he was like “mikasa likes that one too” like what was the point of bringing that up babe 😐

eren was already in love with y/n and he kept trying to shake himself into sense, we see it in his convo with mikasa early in the chapter and with jean as well. This was basically him trying to remind himself of the situation and also in a way push her away and throw her off. Once again, after their convo in his car when he is laughing and joking around with her he brings up jean again and kind of gets the gist of where her heads at in regards to jean. And once again, it was him trying to be there for his friend. Once he realized she wasn’t into jean at all, he begins to get even more close to her at the arcade and stuff.

So it was him wrestling with internal feelings and trying to be grounded to reality.
