So I am calling this Fandom in Tumblr to join me in a train of putting Blot Jr. In the most ridiculous hats we can think of

" Survive the Twisted for 24 hours Challenge " : Rare Edition

Since the first " Which Twisted would you survive for 24 hours? " got a decent bit of attention with the mains , I thought we can start doing them all working backwards with rarity , now with the rare twisteds So you're locked in a room and have to survive a full 24 with one of them hunting you down , who do you pick to have actively hunting you and what's your game plan?

As for me personally I'd confidently say I'd not only survive 24 hours with Twisted Blot but actually take him down within that time frame for one reason and one reason alone

Conversely I say that dealing with Glisten under the condition he's permanently enraged is a " HELL NO" option. He runs at speeds rivaling Bobette , Shelly , and Pebble despite only being a rare rarity despite the fact he appears to be literally SPLIT IN HALF. Then there's the fact that we know his toon counterpart can literally TELEPORT right to somebody's location. Assuming he finds a way to access this ability in this state Twisted Glisten could literally just appear right next to you at any given second ready to run fades.... that matchup is absolutely one sided

So which Rare twisted are you squaring up with for 24 hours , hiding or fighting is an option as long as you don't die. Pick your poison ( and before you say anything I know that Cocoa and Coal aren't here..but I'm saving them for a holiday toons only round where every rarity of all the event toons will be your choices)

Yknow if you think about it during Summer when all the Christmas, Easter , and Halloween toons are together they probably gotta team up out of necessity to defend their territory from a particular intruder

Think about it, all 3 of their holidays have candy involved somewhere, and everyone knows where there's candy in Gardenview Yatta is not going to be far behind no matter how much Looey and Blot may try to dissuade her

Remember Blot points out she acts like a freaking squirrel with her stuffing candy IN THE VENTS for winter like she's preparing for some kind of famine. There is a legitimate possibility she's going around invading wherever the holiday toons live during off season via the vent system we know she travels through in an attempt to lay claim to the leftover holiday candy

So I got into Mobile version of Ark again when they added maps like Aberration and started playing it...I got my first ever Rock Drakes..and when they hatched with these colors..I KNEW WHAT MUST BE DONE

It's fitting because the fact these creatures have two separate abilities to glide around super fast and to turn invisible actually fit both characters respectively

2025 Birthday Post

Another year has gone by so here's a bit of a celebratory post, I've got Fantasy Life I and Pokemon Legends Z-A to look forward to later..

And on a side note i decided to commemorate the day with my first ever attempt of a destiny mark shiny hunt , a mark you can only find on wild pokemom during your birthday.. and who better to hunt than my mascot.. so without further ado.. here is my first birthday shiny.

I'm bringing this back because now we have slightly more lore to work with people who want to make their own to add to the ongoing thread, so here goes, considering all the other wacky stuff the toons can do why not they also just do stuff that is completely insane due to cartoon biology, especially considering the number of pops toons seem to be able to drink during runs without any ill effects somehow. Also repeat toons are allowes... cause I'm sure they didn't stop at somehow causing an incident just once.

Gardenview Incident Report - 1991

Toon Involved- Poppy (C-001)

Description - Oh god... she's somehow gotten into the soda machines overnight thinks to Gigi (R-00X) and has drunk what I believe to be an amount of soda that should be LETHAL to a human... she is STILL ALIVE as far as I am aware. The sugar rush has been an absolute nightmare, nothing to calm her down is working , she has somehow managed to actually FLIP OVER one of the vending machines.. The other toons resorted to barricading her in her room until she crashes so she doesn't break things... but I'm 75 percent sure she WILL somehow find a way to get out before it happens....hopefully the warehouse was locked, WE ALL KNOW SHE HAS NO CLUE HOW TO DRIVE EVEN IN HER NORMAL STATE, WE DON'T NEED HER TRYING LIKE THIS.

Notes - Consider this my formal request for compensation to pay for all the therapy I'll need after all of these incidents.

Casual reminder to the entire fandom that Astro is canoncially the most powerful toon.... he's a LITERAL PSYCHIC. As in telekinesis, dream weaving , etc. He is one of the few toons that in regular life has actual mutant powers ( the other being Glisten who can teleport ). This raises the bug question, what the hell was Delilah Keen doing to make these things, why would they need to give a CHILD FRIENDLY CARTOON straight up X Men powers?!?

So would anybody be interested in a sorta AU/what-if that is centered around the idea of how Dandy manages to run everything around Gardenview after the closure all at once... well in this scenario he's done so by using a ramshackle version of the process Delilah Keen used to create living toons and reference sheets for Gardenview characters who failed to make the final cut to create a specialized team of toons to assist in keeping everything in working order. Given it was a rush job Dandy had to throw in random items he could find to fill in the gaps with some of them, but they turned out fuctional enough even if the extra pieces caused a few of them to deviate from their reference sheets. They keep up maintenence, scavenge items for Dandy's shop, and keep the hordes of twisteds from escaping the lower floors, but in turn they live in secret from the Gardenview Crew with their existence only known to Dandy ( and to a lesser extent Pebble). They are the Reserve Crew , a team consisting 4 of groups each consisting of 4 toons, Fighters, Wanderers, Collectors, and Specialists... Fighters engage in direct combat with Twisteds, Collectors are skilled at locating and retrieving valuables, Wanderers are the most covert members of the operation and rely on stealth and unique methods of traversal, and the Specialists have the most unique of capabilities and often have the most difficult tasks outside of scavenging missions.

They do a lot of tasks around Gardenview without the other residents knowing,, their most dangerous task, collecting the items for Dandy's shop and blasting through twisteds that try to stop them.

If you all are interested then let me know and I'll start posting about the members of the Reserve Crew and what they are all about. Trust me there's some fun toon designs in there ( * cough * cross between a wyvern, blowtorch, and a fire hose looking toon * cough * vampire deer toon that's an actual vampire * cough cough * )

So I'm stuck waiting for they day if ever Capcom fixes Wild for steam deck... so I was thinking thinking going back to sunbreak for a switch at some point since I never finished it due to getting distracted by other games (* cough *Baldur's Gate 3 and Palworld *cough * ) and was wondering

Is there some club/cult for Insect Glaive mains... I want in I've never switched off that weapon the whole game... are we actually a cult?

Anyways this is my hunter, if I do pick up Sunbreak again might see you fellow glaive mains in the online hub.

I just realized he's probably still slightly dangerous in that state for an entirely different reason..like he's one of the largest twisted... at best he's an obstruction.. at worst he's a nightmare of a tripping hazard , especially that scarf...something about the way it moves almost indicates to me the ichor somehow turned it into a symbiotic organism rather than a simple garment when Sprout twisted. Like both the toons and the other twisteds have to tread carefully to avoid tripping over a massive berry monster who is just none the wiser as he's sleeping peacefully on the floor

I can see the other twisteds, especially the other mains getting really upset with his sleeping habits since he's smack in the middle of the floor..they lose whatever toon they were chasing just because the chasing path happened to cross over Seedly's spot.

Wait if toon Sprout hibernates in winter...you think the twisted version would also enter dormancy. I mean ichor or not he's still clearly a strawberry, just like his toon counterpart.... there's just a massive twisted sprawled out in the middle of the floor and it's completely asleep... goes from ichor murder monster to a total sleepy head with the onset of winter

Then the rodgerlings surround it and study it /j

But genuinely that'd be so funny

Like in the middle of chase, the twisted starts slowing down, eventually stopping, then just dropping down to the ground like a baby

Just like a big ol ball of ichor, leafs, murderous intent, and eepiness

I can think of one objectively funny thing that could happen if the toons decided to pursue their own lives and that would be Vee starting an online show discussing her life trapped in that building and her thoughts on the other toons and their experiences.. mainly because you know she would foaming at the bit to just lay it into Dandy for everything he's done related to the ichor operation especially considering they already seemed to have some level of animosity for each other ( I like to imagine those two have had fights mainly regarding their popularity with the audience before ). Vee would probably see that opportunity to mess with Dandy in a way he wouldn't really be able to counteract and consider it well worth it considering the hell that is ichor runs every toon had to endure.

Im curious , in a hypothetical scenario where the toons escaped Gardenview after the closure and just integrated into society which one do you think would best fit the category of chaotic alignment with what they spend their newfound free time. I can see it either being Shrimpo (obvious reasons ) , Gigi ( again obvious reasons ) , or Connie ( maybe she starts haunting random abandoned buildings urban explorers frequent for kicks )

i actually don’t like thinking of them being out gardenview that much .. god knows how bad that’d be if it happened

I thought this would be funny if we all pitched what characters from other media the toons would be friends with... so I've decided to contribute the funniest one I could think of

I think Finn and Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza would get along

Both are rather easy-going folk who enjoy cracking a few jokes with friends in their downtime. Also highly interested in their respective passions so much that the bleeds into their normal behavior. Plus they both have their marine animal sidekicks. ( I can totally see Finn taking the opportunity to make crawfish puns upon finding out about Nancy)

I have my own take on things that's sorta a joke but could work... consider the fact the exact number of toons was kept controlled and they are exclusively man-made creations, and with how few there are compared to typical species it's pretty reasonable to think that after the shutdown and the government prolly becomes aware of the toons existing that they get classed as an endangered species or something

Which would then probably mean the Gardenview building would possibly get the same treatment as Merasmus' house from TF2

i do have a question that is bothering me

if gardenview shut down why were the toons left there wouldn’t the owners take them with them or atleast give them somewhere else to stay

PERSONALLYY i don't think theyve been shut down All That Long? like probably notif they still have electricity and food they gotta pay bills and buy food right. like the gardenview building doesn't seem Abandoned abandoned. maybe Arthur and Delilah still have have ownership of the building and were clinging to We Can Fix This we can get back in business And Soon. but also the toons just already Live in that building, we haven't seen all of them but they all presumably have their own bedrooms. there are nearly 30 toons and qwelver has said There Will Be More. so it's kinda a Where Could They Even Go situation

A fun fact for those making toon ocs based on plants

So we all have those toon ocs out there based on plants right..turns out I found a fun fact that can lead to funny shenanigans.

Now as well all know Sprout Seedly is a strawberry , member of genus Fragaria within the family of Rosaceae, plants related to the rose... well turns out there's way more plants in there then you would think

So yeah, your toon ocs based on these plants within family Rosaceae could all have taxonomic ties to Sprout. Have fun with this knowledge DW fandom, spread the word with people about this funny fact... we got the Seedly family reunion here XD.
