Depa Billaba

I decided to give this hairstyle a go because I’d already made some braided loops that I liked for Princess Leia’s Bespin hair. I ran into immediate trouble though because I wasn’t able to find any pictures the back of the hairstyle on the actress who played her in the prequels. Instead, I came across the concept art for the characters intended appearance in the Clone Wars series which very helpfully had the angles I needed to figure out the braided loops at the back! I added the little bun to hide where the braids all came together so that bit isn’t entirely accurate but I imagine they would have done something similar for the live-action version so it might be after all!

I also have another version of this hair that is just the full braids without the pulled back section at the front that I’ll try to get out later this week.

I tried to make Depa’s Marks of Illumination as a piercing to release but the one between the eyes is causing me massive problems with its placement because I can’t figure out how to get it to stay joined to the skin. It works with maybe 2 of the presets but is floating with some and completely hidden with others. It was pure luck that I found a Depa Billaba sim on the gallery (add credit before posting) that only needed a few adjustments to get the Marks visible so I’ve decided to shelve them until I can figure out how to get them to work universally.

A wonderful surprise to come back from holiday to!!

Hat hair!

Hat hair is where you join both hair and hat together, so that when the sim puts it on, the hair is perfect in the hat! What makes it special is that the hair stays the normal colour your sim has, and you can select the swatches of the hat; if made the traditional way of making cc, you would have to choose either;or - you can't have both hair swatches and hat swatches.

I've always been frustrated with hair and hats not working together how I want! My good friend @inlovewithregencyera has made several hat hairs, and was gracious enough to teach me how! (thank you so much 😭) Theirs are, of course, fully from scratch, and I'm not quite at that level yet 😂:

Today, I present two popular bonnets - @linzlu's Birthday Bonnet, @moon-simmers' recolour version of this; as well as @lilchamomil's Regency Bonnet; all of which I have paired with hair by @buzzardly28.

The shape of these bonnets are just like ones really worn in the 19th century, which I have seen in photographs (daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes &c.), as well as paintings.

In the Linzlu bonnet, I have used Buzzard's "1860s hair", and in the Lilchamomil bonnet, I have used both the "1850s hair", and "Peggy hair", by Buzzard.

I spent quite a bit of time moving and shaping flowers in the Linzlu bonnet, and I ended up putting in a few more!

I really love the Lilchamomil bonnet; it's definitely Recency - not Victorian - I have seen it in some paintings; but, I know in the Victorian era, similar ones were worn - which is why I wanted to put a Victorian hair style in it.

There's 34 swatches in the lilchamomil bonnet, half with white inside, half with cream. There's 22 swatches in Linzlu's original "Southern Birthday" bonnet, and 41 in Moonsimmers' "Harriet Birthday" bonnet.

Princess Leia Hair Set: The Empire Strikes Back

This is part 2 of my mission to make all of Princess Leia’s hairstyles!

These are from the second film of the original trilogy. The first hair is what she wears on Hoth, the second while on Bespin and the third is from the final scene from the ship.

I've also made versions of the hairs with no strands at the front in case anyone preferred that look. I've put a preview for those at the bottom of the post.

Part 3 is in the works but will probably take a bit longer, and I've also started on Leia's hair when she appears in Rebels.

The princess and the queen collection PT1

So I've been making Medieval and ASOIAF CC for a little while now ,but never got around to sharing anything until now .This is the first part of a two part collection based on book Rhaenrya and Alicent and will include 1 Rhaenrya hair(2 versions) and 1 Alicent (2 versions) . All will be posted over the following weeks. I'm still working on my texturing skills so there is slight errors however it isn't that noticeable in game . Hope you enjoy :)

Happy Birthday to Ali and Eleanor!!

My friendship with @theroyalthornoliachronicles was built on making pretty dresses for Eleanor and after nearly 5 years, Eleanor hasn't had as many dresses as Ali and I have had adventures! It's been a mix of fancy cocktails, exploding dress weights, visiting palaces, battling with pearls that won't stay in place (see above!) and even a trip to Disneyland for last year's birthday!!!

We're now back to sipping fancy cocktails 😂😂

I've been wanting to create CC for forever, so here's my first creation! I've been rewatching Game of Thrones again and absolutely adore Margaery's hairstyles, so here's a hair inspired by this hair of hers in Season 4 I'm not yet completely familiar with the whole CC making progress but I tried!
