Oh donāt worry. It can get to me too. Thatās when the bottles of wine and the punching bag get broken out and the phone gets taken away from me before I say some super not nice things to people. Next time someone says something just text me and Iāll be over with movies and donuts to distract us. Ugh okay the mellow life is great, donāt get me wrong. Like Brie totally lives the mellow, hippie, super nice life but you have to let your hair down every once in a while! Get drunk and go crazy! You can go back to the mellow life in the morning. Are you and the kids going on the trip? Cause if so⦠Iām totally stealing you for a night. Weāll leave your kids with John, he probably wouldnāt lose them. Itāll be fine. Iām always on my phone. My mom yells at me all the time but I swear itās mostly business. Yeah, definitely. And you can hide them and force the girls to go outside. Yeah heās like super smart so I bet he could!
Me too - minus the punching bag. Really itās just the wine! I tend to take the kill them with kindness approach more often but every so often I have to put the phone away to stop myself from getting nasty too!! That sounds like a deal and Iāll reciprocate! Iāve definitely done the letting my hair down thing a lot in my life, so maybe Iāve just reached my quota? Like I said, not that I still donāt appreciate fun and getting a little wild - I think my idea of wild has just kind of changed over the years. Besides, no one really wants to see a slobbering drunk forty-three year old! We are! Iām sure John and Gerard could handle the three of them for one night, right? Sometimes I attempt to put my phone down but itās strange how disconnected from everything you feel without it, isnāt it? Thankfully, I donāt have to force them to go outside very often yet...itās coming though, I can already feel it! Excellent, maybe weāll make him do that on the trip as well!

She was nervous. Starting something so big and important to Drew, she really didnāt want to mess things up which was why she was definitely letting the other woman make the big decisions.Ā āOh please, youāre the one that should be prepared to be stuck with me. Youāve done this before. Iām like a baby bird learning how to fly.ā The dancer smiled and cheersed Drewās glass with her own.Ā āThank you, sincerely, for letting me come on this with you. Iām so excited to get started and get it up and running.ā
She rolled her eyes at the other woman as their glasses clinked together, shaking her head while she followed up with a sip before responding.Ā āPlease, thatās what makes this so perfect!ā she challengedĀ āWhen youāre new to it, youāre full of fresh eyes and exciting ideas and thatās exactly what this place needs to be the hit I know it can be!ā she insisted genuinelyĀ āSo thank you for coming on board! Iām ridiculously excited too! Weāll have to plan a little grand opening bash once weāre ready to go!ā

Make sure your own actions reflect the kind of behavior you want your kid to exhibit, not just your words. Be the kind of person youād want them to be rather than trying to make them the person you wish youād become. And youāre right, thereās a lot of stuff we canāt control. I mean, Iām not that bad but sometimes I can really ruin everything, you know? Iāve never seen Danneel fucking shit up. Yes, Iāll definitely be there! Iām not sure if people will believe you but this is great, thank you. Fuck, donāt go there, just ā donāt go there. We are? I suddenly feel really freaking special.
Wow - have you ever thought about writing an advice column?! I do try to role model as best as I can and as much as I hope they pick up some of those things, I also want them to grow up to be their own people and make their own decisions becasue itās what they want and not just what I want for them...if that makes sense. I think we all do that though, I bet if you asked Danneel then sheād say she feels the same way. None of us are perfect, all we can do is learn and grow from our mistakes because weāll never escape making them!Ā Donāt go to YouTube? Whyyy, what am I going to find?? Now I have to look! As you should, not everyone can be a heartthrob to swarms of teenage girls, right?

Youāre a ray of sunshine, and I refuse to accept anything else! Actually, now that you mention it, thatās exactly how I fought off all of the suitors. I kicked them into a giant hole and left them there to rot, do you think that was ātoo farā or just far enough? Exactly what I was thinking, sometimes you might not get the finish that you were hoping for, but you still hopefully enjoyed the ride along the way, so thatās better than nothing at all. That makes sense, aye, I think thatās kind of nice. That way if you need anything, itās all here in town, too. Youāre not waiting weeks for something to come in if you had to order a replacement or ighting with someone that you canāt physically talk to if something goes wrong. But thatās also a great goal, itāll free you up a bit to be a business woman all over again ā as if you donāt have any experience with that! Very much so on this end, too, sheās super excited to spend all next week with them.
Iām at least partly cloudy some days! I mean, it worked out well for me, so I have to think it was just far enough. Although I hope you covered up the hole so that none of them can climb back out and ruin everything you accomplished! Sometimes itās all about the journey, right, not the destination? Thatās what I was thinking too but now that you say that, maybe out of towners would be good - what if we have some sort of conflict with the contractors and they turn out to be a neighbor our something? Then youāre just stuck with them? Iām so excited about this shop, to be honest, not only do I think itās going to be great but having somewhere close to home will be nice. I think Iām getting old and doing that nesting thing people talk about...Do you ever start to feel like maybe our presence is irrelevant to them? Unless they want a ride to the park or something! Theyāre really looking forward to it too, though. In fact, they havenāt stopped talking about it all week. Thank god thereās only a couple more days to go!

I know what you mean. I am really enjoying it so far. Its amazing here. It doesnāt take long to fall in love with this place.
It never does! Are you planning to come along on the summer trip as well? You donāt want to miss out on the trips! Theyāre always amazing!

Thank you, How old are your daughters? Nice to meet you. Iām getting situated well. I really appreciate all the hospitality. Sheās ten, sheās turning eleven next year. I will definitely check that place out.
Frankie is four and Olive is five, six in September. OH wow, eleven though! Sheās almost a teenager - are you frightened yet? Good, good, Iām glad to hear that - itās a pretty welcoming place I think. Sort of hard not to fall in love with!

Hey, if you lead them the right way they wonāt go through the same things as you did, but then again, I suck at advices and you shouldnāt listen to me, at all. I understand what youāre saying, I kind of hope my kids to be just like their mother because sheās not as fucked up as I am. I keep missing everything, right? Jesus Christ, I promise to be around more. Youāre doing a great job, Iāll keep on saying youāre twenty-seven. Excuse me, have you been watching Supernatural Gag Reel? Listen, we have a lot of fun but thereās nothing like home.
I hope thatās what Iām doing, but as a parent, there are somethings that just arenāt in your control. Thankfully, Iāve probably got a few years to wait before I really have to worry about that. Time will tell, though! Oh please, not that I know you all that well but I like to think Iām a fairly good judge of character and I donāt think sheād be that unlucky to get some of her daddyās traits too - though Iām sure her mother is wonderful too! Iām going to hold you too that - summer trip, youāll be there right? Thank you very much, I appreciate that and Iāll do the same for you! I havenāt no but I might have to YouTube these to see! I just do a little Insta stalking every so often and you all are very popular with the younger generation!

Or like the more they talk about it, the more popular we become. I mean the haters always comment under our videos but it just makes more people watch them so, sucks to be them right? Drew! Thatās no fun, come on, live a little. You know, one of these days Iām gonna get you super drunk and itāll be hilarious. Kids understand way more than people give them credit for and honestly like they donāt even care about when their parents were young, they just want a cell phone. Oh my gosh right? Brie and I are pretty much total opposites and we were raised the exact same. So crazy. I bet John understands that stuff.
I kind of get a kick out of those people on social media sometimes, although I admit, occasionally it gets to me. Thatās just my own insecurities though and I know better. Oh believe me, I did my fair share of living in my younger days - too much, maybe! I kind of enjoy the mellower side of things now. I like to think that I still have fun, just maybe not the wild kind that the kids watching would be into? Hey, so long as I donāt have to be up at the crack of dawn, Iām up for anything! Thankfully, my girls arenāt at the cell phone stage yet - they do love their iPads though, which I can live with. I feel like I have more control with those since they donāt really leave the house with them. Does he? Maybe he can explain it to us, huh?

Are you sure that I can get much more miserable than I already am? It would be a pretty tall task for someone like me, you have to admit. I did! I ended up fighting many suitors half of my age, which should really count for something, since hey were so damn tough. The ego is like foreplay at this point, isnāt it? Not just with us, I just mean in the human race ā stroke the ego, and then stroke the other things. Do you have any idea when you will be up and running, or are you doing that pulling-out-your-hair-figuring-what-goes-where thing right now? If the girls are around this weekend, we should take them to the Fest together, I know Gaelynās excited about free food. Or maybe thatās me.
Oh, I was referring to me - youāre definitely as miserable as they come! But in the best way possible! And look at you, not even a scratch to show for it - much have been all that King Leonidas training you did, huh? Iād never thought of it that way but now that you mention it...it kind of is. I mean, the orgasm isnāt quite as satisfying but if itās all you can get, itās worth taking! Weāve put in for the location, so once thatās confirmed - which I donāt see why it wouldnāt be - itās just a matter of ordering what we need. Iām thinking Iād like to keep it local though and get as much of the interior done by businesses here, so hopefully thatāll keep things moving along quickly. End of summer maybe? Which will work out nicely. The girls will be in school which means Iāll have some extra time to help get it off on the right foot. Iām still full. Not that I wouldnāt eat that meal all over again right now if I could but...it was very satisfying and Olive and Frankie were pumped to see Gaelyn again.Ā

Sharna already had her glass to her lips when Drew spoke and after swallowing her eyes lit up.Ā āYes! Yes itās absolutely perfect. I loved everything about it.ā The dancer smiled. She didnāt have much experience opening a business, not a physical one anyway so she was letting Drew take point, learning as much from her as she could while still giving her own input.Ā āItās a great location, itās got more than enough space for both of us⦠we need it.ā
Drew had plenty of experience on the business end of things but if there is one thing sheād learned along the way, it was that the key to success was aligning yourself with great partners and she had no doubt her and Sharna could make this place amazing. Her grin widened excitedly at the red heads responseĀ āI thought so too,ā she noddedĀ āIāll email the agent tonight and tell her itās a go!ā she added, leaning forward some to hold up her glassĀ āThis is it, thereās no turning back now! You sure youāre ready to be stuck with me?ā she teased.

Thank you, Drew!! It is, and completely worth all the work and craziness to be here. Plus hearing that people like it is an amazing bonus, no lie. Some artists do! I feel like theyāve become sort of a trendy vintage thing to do. We actually went the route of having those and cassette tapes as well, since weāre all hipster and very extra too. But weāre proud of the thing, so you know, every format ever!
I caught a bit of your act this weekend and it was amazing. Olive was particularly enthralled and I think you may have earned yourself a new fangirl! Thatās cool though, there is a particular sound that CDs or digital have never managed to capture. It always feels a little more like youāre at an actual show when I listen on vinyl. Oh geez, cassettes too? Youāre making me feel all nostalgic here - maybe you earned yourself two fangirls!

I kept a place in England too. I need a spot there cause thatās where my family and friends live. It feels good to have a place on your own when youāre working or travelling right? So do you go to New York often?
Thereās something about āhomeā, isnāt there. Hotels and such are great for short term stays but doing it all the time is exhausting. I do, Iām back and forth a lot but the people I work with seem to have Flower Beauty mostly under control now and weāre opening up another shop here in Bayview, so hopefully Iāll be spending more time right here at home!

For me, its kind of weird because even though I lived in a small town, I didnāt have any houses nearby. So its taking some getting used to here.
See, Iāve lived in New York and L.A., and now you almost have to drive to my nearest neighbour. Youāre enjoying it so far though?

Just left one hell of a match to be here. Iām Leati Joe, everyone calls me Roman so you can call me Roman. My daughter is my life but her mom has full custody of her so Iāll see her when I can. I just moved in so tell me what there is to do around here. I need a beer and a burger.Ā
Hello Roman! Welcome to Bayview - my daughters are my life as well, so look! We already have something in common! Iām Drew by the way and I hope youāre settling in alright and your daughter will be able to come visit sooner rather than later! How old is she? As for beers and burgers...Blackbeards, maybe?

no one could ever think you were an idiot, Drew! especially your kids. I bet they adore you too much to ever think a single negative thing about you. unpacking is my worst enemy so Iāve been putting it off. thereās just too much to see and do. plus keeping the kiddos cooped up isnāt healthy so weāve spent the time since getting here outside. not much exploring but plenty of sunshine.
Oh sure, they adore me now but give it a few years and Iāll be facing slammed doors! I already get a bit of an eye roll if I get to affectionate in public! Unpacking is terrible, the only thing worse is packing, I think! So I donāt blame you one bit, Iād put it off too, especially in the summer - who wants to be locked up inside when thereās so much happening around town!

And whyās that? Youāre not a bad person, are you? I think they would be just fine if they were like you. JJ lives with her mother, all I have to do is to ask her if she wants to spend some time with her dad and sheāll do it, so basically, I think weāre free at any time. Right? Thatās not even fair, itās a good thing we at least still look young and we can sometimes lie to people about our age. I did! Iām having the time of my life in this city, let me tell you.Ā Iām a bit sad because Iāll have to leave and film Supernatural soon, but thereās nothing I can do.
I donāt think Iām a bad person no,Ā I just hope my girls donāt have to experience some of the things I did, you know? Some of which were completely out of my control, others though were the result of some very poor decision making! Excellent, well if youāre around this weekend perhaps we can catch up at the Summer Fest! My tactic is ask how old people think I am and so long as they give a number less than forty three, I just agree! Oh yeah, because it looks like the bunch of you have a miserable time when youāre filming!

Oh, thatās true, you would be absolutely lost and completely undesirable without me, right? Minus the fact that there would be a line up the block of men just chomping at the bit to take my place! Besides, you deal with me being a basketcase all the same. And thatās what Iām here for, to pet your ego⦠and maybe a few other things, too. Did you really? Iām down for that, just let me know when you are most free, I donāt have any plans now minus the fourth of July and that Summer Fest coming up this weekend, and Gaelyn loves getting out as often as she can.
Maybe notĀ ālostā but at least a bit more miserable! Oh right, of course, because I forgot you had to fight through that non-existent line up already! Nerd. Thatās why we work - equal parts basketcase and hot drinks. Tea in my case. I mostly like the other things but the ego is nice too! Iām pretty excited about the new space, I think itās exactly what we were looking for and I canāt wait to get it all set up and everything. That and Frankie and Olive would never forgive either of us if Gaelyn was here and they didnāt get to hang out with her - weād immediately be disowned.Ā
