The enchantment that keeps Hogwarts invisible to Muggles must have some significant limits.

Picture this:

A couple’s driving through the highlands of Scotland, May 2nd, 1998. “Brimful of Asha” is playing from the discman through the tape adapter. They spot some old ruins in the distance and decide to get out and take a closer look. Suddenly they see diffuse flashes of colored light fill the sky, enormous indentations in the earth appearing, and they hear what sound like cries and explosions, but as one might hear them through a telephone under a quilt: muffled and distant and filtered. A tree falls over in the woods nearby.

(By which I mean that Bandcamp is the only place it will be available for at least a month.) It's the Fishbowl EP, and the tracklist is below. It's five songs, inspired by Footwork, Trap, House, Hard Bop, Fusion, Acid Rock, and Samba, as well as by traditional Bulgarian, Indonesian, and Afgani folk music — and all dedicated to helping make this world a better place for our transgendered brothers and sisters.
