i like the idea of triggers or phrases that put you in trance that aren't necessarily the generic or cliche ones, but that still make sense and convey what they are (as opposed to a random phrase or code). i think "indulge me for a moment" could work

i think for me a lot of the fun creepiness with hypnosis and that type of stuff is about just like. idk. your imagination and your dreams and the feelings in your head are so personal. it's so intimate. a guy having knowledge and control of that is crazy. but a lot of hypno stuff that's specifically about control isn't really about that either. like. it's about turning you into something else, erasing you. but i kind of like the idea of the guy just being there. does that make any sense. he's there. he knows what your dreams feel like. he knows the way the shivers run down your spine. he talks to you in your language, he uses your metaphors, he talks about your experiences, your identity, the way that you think about it in your head, the way that it plays out in your daydreams. when any other guy says that you're his, you laugh. but this guy, this guy doesn't have to say that. he doesn't have to say a single thing about that. it's really simple. he knows how you work. he knows how you think. with the way the situation plays out, there's only one logical conclusion to come to. there's only one way it ends. you've thought of it a million times. you've read all those stories about it. you know what it's leading up to. it's so weird. you know it shouldn't be happening like this. it doesn't make sense, not in reality, not in the real world, not to the version of yourself that you show to other people. but in here, in your head, it makes perfect sense. you know??

People often talk about hypnosis as something floaty. Without weight. Filling your head with air, leaving you relaxed, serene, open. Suggestible.

But where's the respect for hypnosis that's thick like syrup, hypnosis that threatens to have you drown in it. Hypnosis that constricts and holds and makes you want to thrash to escape but you just can't. Hypnosis that feels like its choking you, forcing itself into you. Hypnosis that doesn't ask. Hypnosis that's a hand round your throat and a growl in your ear. Insistence. Demands. Brains screaming as they are forced into a new shape.

I mean, I guess relaxation is nice, too.

Another quick thought from me! Hypnosis stuff, not too much language but be warned!

Hierarchy is fun and all, sometimes you wanna be put in your place, but there's also something appealing about just having a friend who happens to able to turn your mind off whenever they feel like it. Someone you can hang out with and mess around with and do your fav lil things with and every so often you hear a whisper in your ear your eyes flutter and you realise you spent the past ten minutes drooling over yourself repeating mindless mantras and then you just get straight back to whatever you were doing. Knowing at any time they can shut your brain off and you'll let them, but you're also just there to have a nice good time for a while.

Maybe a part of me just wants to normalise being brainwashed, I dunno~
