it pisses me off SO bad how transphobes have so effectively used sports to launder transphobia and misogyny to people. like does nobody remember like ~5-10 years ago when it was a MAJOR feminist talking point to argue for desegregating sports and going by skill level instead of gender separation??? and now, because so many cis people hate trans people so violently and think we should be excluded from all aspects of public life, youâve got a whole bunch of women who call themselves feminists laundering misogynistic talking points about how âwomen are just inherently weaker and worse at athletics than men :(( itâs just biology and women are inherently inferior :(( this is definitely not misogyny thatâs unsupported by science, women are just weaker and worse at things :((â like girl open your ears and listen to what youâre saying!!

One really weird thing transphobic cis women will say is something to the effect of âI was a tomboy, thank god it was before the transgender craze. They would made me transition.â Like, probably not, girl. As you are a cis woman who has never communicated any form of gender dysphoria. It makes it really obvious that they think being transgender is just conforming to different gender roles. There is an ocean between a little girl who likes traditionally masculine fashion and has traditionally masculine interests and a child that is transgender. They are not a slippery slope. They donât push you down the slide of transgenderism if you cut your hair short when youâre 12.
There are so many trans men who were never tomboys, who were the picture of the âperfect little girlâ and genuinely enjoyed traditionally feminine hobbies and expressing themselves in ways associated with femininity. It confuses and angers cis people when they come out as trans because they only see gender as a role to perform and not an identity. If youâre truly a woman, youâre generally not susceptible to randomly turning into a man. If youâre truly a man, youâre generally not susceptible to randomly turning into a woman.
#This is the type of things that always grinds my gears#Like my mom keeps saying that cis girls also have body and facial hair#But that's such a stupid point cause she basically only associate the idea that being a woman = being hairless and all that in my head#As if this is what I believed and that the reason why I'm trans is because I don't want x or y physical trait

isn't it crazy that a woman being gender nonconforming literally just requires her to exist in her own body without making any changes whatsoever. why does the fact that i don't wear makeup and i don't shave and i don't wear a bra have to be some political act. why can't i just fucking exist

legitimately my first feminist awakening as a ten year old child was realizing that girls were expected to respect âboy stuffâ but boys were never expected to respect âgirl stuffâ

How equal can a society be if some fundamentals are unusable by a third of the population? You can learn a lot about a world by looking at the little details, especially in furry settings!

Hey, itâs ok to not be a âproductive member of society.â
Some people are housebound. Bed bound. Some people physically canât eat, shower, or use the toilet without the assistance of a caretaker. Some people donât have the spoons to get out of bed in the morning, let alone work a 9-5 job in this capitalist hellhole.
Youâre not lazy. Youâre not less than.
And this is coming from a disabled person with chronic pain who can leave the house and walk (with some pain) without mobility aids.
You deserve to take up space. You deserve to cost money. You deserve to be here without feeling guilty just because you canât give back in the traditional way.
Youâre worth it, hun. đŤśđź
