Tecklenburg, City Council to announce new Charleston Police Chief
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Mayor John Tecklenburg and members of City Council will announce the new police chief for the Charleston City Police.
The announcement will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, March 9 in City Hall Council Chambers on Broad Street.

Summerville woman sentenced to prison for tax violation
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — A Mount Pleasant dentist has been sentenced to prison for a tax violation, according to officials.
Judy Villanyi, 48, was charged with bank fraud, obstruction, and failure to file taxes. She was sentenced to five months in prison, according to United States Attorney Beth Drake.
