Adam update

The rainstorm stopping any chance of outdoor activity, Adam knew what he was going to do after lunch. It was something he’d been pulling off since they got there, because he wasn’t sure he could do it. But Leo would be with him, and Leo’s weapons were impeccable.

It was time he made his own.

They quickly ate a light meal so it would not impede on the incoming hard work. Even though he and Leo ran from the farm house to the barn, they were still drenched when they arrived. Leo assured him it was fine, the heat from the fire would dry them in a matter of minutes. That was why they’d also carried a bunch of water bottles.

“Me and Don have been working on some molds for the basic shapes and things like the chains to help.” Leo supplied.

Adam smiled. That would make the job easier.

“We have a lot of work to do.” Leo continued. “I expect we’ll be there for a while. Are you ready?”

He nodded. As ready as he would ever be.

Adam update

“How about we play that game of tag I promised earlier?” Leo suggested.

Adam gave him a questioning look, and they explained the rules to him. Once Adam seemed to have understood, they all glanced at each other, a slow grin simultaneously breaking their faces before they all tapped Adam at the same time.

“Tag, you’re it!” They said before scattering.

Adam quickly turned in circles before choosing a target. Mickey considered going easy on him at first, but the others had other ideas. Whenever Adam would get too close to one of them, another would create a distraction or try to splash him. Mickey joined them right away, and it took a good few minutes before Adam realized they were just playing him and to stick with one target.

He disappeared deep underwater, and for a moment, none of them could see him. They started swimming at the surface, regularly dipping their heads below to try and find him as the silence stretched.

Raph was pulled underwater so fast, it felt like a shark had taken him like in one of Mickey’s favorite movies. A second later, Adam pushed off his shell and reappeared at the surface, hands whooping in the sky and a successful grin on his face.

“Dude, that was awesome!” Mickey praised. “I didn’t even see you come in.”

“Da game ain’t over yet, boy scout.” Raph quipped as he surfaced. “Yer so dead.”

I've been wanting to draw Ghost for a while now. I love that fanfic, it's amazing. I can't wait for more to come out, but until then, have a doodle of the tired old man.

Beach day!

Well, not exactly a beach. It was a lake. But same difference to Mickey, he’d never been to a real beach. Unless he counted garbage island shores and port beaches. Which they were not. So he didn’t.

Right away, everyone noticed how happy Adam was. It was hard not to try and match his genuine smile, even though Mickey was already a master at grins. Adam was giddy, really, jogging as fast as he could through the woods without rocking Ellie too hard. Since the temperature was much colder for the day, they had put Ellie in her little bunny costume that Mickey loved so much. Adam was also wearing a sweater, though with the exercise he was doing, he probably wouldn’t have needed it at the moment.

Mickey was so glad he was at his best for that day. Don’t get him wrong, he didn’t want the others’ activities to be stuck with him in a bad mood any more than himself. But the lake and those other freer activities were always most interesting when people were goofier. Ooh, they would have so much fun, he could already tell.

“Slow down, Adam, you’re not even going the right way.” Mickey chuckled at him.

Adam reluctantly turned around and returned to them. Mickey whipped his arm around him.

“Don’t go disappearing on us. You don’t wanna miss the lake.” He said.

Adam nodded and they resumed their walk, talking cheerfully about vacations and fishing. They didn’t have the equipment for fishing that day, they figured Adam and Ellie would prefer having fun and looking around first before spending half a day on a boat waiting for fishes to bite. Probably for the better now that they saw how energetic they both were.

The moment they could see the lake through the tree leaves, Adam was off again, unstoppable. They chuckled at him.

“Damn, he’s more excited than a kid.” Raph noted.

“Are you complaining?” Don asked knowingly.

“This will do us all some good I think.” Leo said.

“Hey, wait for us!” Mickey quipped, running after him. “Come on guys!” He told the others.

“Last to the lake hatched from a rotten egg!” Don replied, running after him.

Sorry I haven't commented on your amazing story again--I've been reading it almost non-stop since I started and am now obsessed with it. Adam and Ellie are freaking adorable and I love their family growth dynamic 💕💕💕

I was wanting to ask if you had specific designs for both of them? I'm really wanting to sketch out some scenes later but wanted to check in if you had a solid way on how they look first, such as the doodle images you've got going on, or if reader interpretation is okay :]

I'm about half way thru the current chapters and can't wait to continue reading them! Thank you for sharing such an amazing, family-bond story (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ

For the designs, I kept it voluntarily vague so it could be up to interpretation, so you can definitely change things around as you want! If there was one thing more mentioned, it's the two round scars on either side of Adam's neck, but I myself don't even draw them for ease of speed, so as long as they are mutant turtles, feel free to sketch them as you want! :D

I can't wait to see what you draw, if you want to share it! And thank you again, I'm always happy to see people enjoy my work. ^^
