"First Outing" - Part 3

Hi I didn't forget about this comic, I just have been a bit busy with other things and lacked the motivation to work on it :) It's a pretty long oneshot, so hopefully I'll be able to finish it soon

Being the oldest kid in the family giving me a bunch of ideas on how to draw Raph :]

Happened to me and my lil sis not so long ago.

I think Leo was a kinda spoiled kid (in some aspects) and always refused to see Raph as a superior figure

(Arghhhhh! I want to learn how to draw Raph more chubby and beefy :( )

Asking some writers/artists I follow:

Is there anything in your fic/comic that you as the author know about, but won't end up in the actual story?

I have a few scrapped plot lines half sketched out. Also the original concept for this AU which was WAYYYY different than what it is now! I am sure there are a few smaller details about how Mikey and Donnie were raised in the lab that won't be 100% explored, and other things too! But if I ever get questions about them I will probably end up answering them! :DD

Here are a few of the scrapped plot lines:

Instead of the cute hug scene while trapped in the closet, Raph and Heishi were going to get in an argument.

Also this conversation about leaving the turtles in the closet overnight while they figured out where to put them:

Not 100% sure where this one was supposed to go in the comic, but it looks sad :(((

Also there is a whole eight panels scrapped of April getting ready for school. Her story line was originally going to be very different to what it is now. (also I SWEAR she will be important soon... ish-)

Waiting for friends that never show

When he’s about 8, Donnie goes to a school in the Hidden City for a semester. He made “friends��� that were always kind of mean, but they let him hang out with them, unlike the others, who were either scared of his dad or weirded out by his scars and attitude.

Needless to say, his new friends didn’t last long. The last straw was when they found out he didn’t know his exact birthday and planned a party for him, getting him to sneak out of home and everything and go to a restaurant (Senor Huesos) promising to meet him there.

They never showed, and he ate alone, one of the waiters finally taking pity on the kid and getting him a hat and cupcake to cheer him up a bit.

Later Huginn and Muninn were told the story through tears, and Huginn secretly told Draxum. Donnie never heard from the kids again, and was pulled out of the school the next week

Believe it or not, this is actually how I began drawing tmnt on Tumblr- with tracing over other's lineart and then adding colors, background, and shading. :) So I decided to draw this panel cause.. It just made me laugh and the expressions were just perfect XD AND WITTLE MIKEYY AHHHH SO CUTEEE!!!!

Thank you for creating Until I Found You, Phoebe. :) Every time you upload, a huge smile appears on my face and I thank you for that <3 There are days your story is a big light in my life. :) Hope this encourages you!!

Still thinking about brand new mutated Dad Splinter figuring out the dynamics between his children. It wasn't until I was lining some of this that I realized the unintentional angst in this cute comic, because Splinter seeing how distraught Leo and Donnie are at being separated would hit a little too close to home for him.
