i’ve been living in the night life lips hit you like a drive by, frost bite, ice cold, i mean they cut you like a sharp knife next page and i’m out again. — we can be so hollow — like my rib cage the echoes follow; follow me like the fears i swallow & drown in all my mistakes. all i know is if my skin bled like the ink dripped from my pen; my bed will be drenched in a scarlet rose red & drown in all my mistakes. i’ve been living in the darkness, shadows in my apartment, heartless taking love just to spill it on parchment next page and i’m out again.

Her statement sounded like a question, but he seemed it not necessary to focus on an answer. There was no answer. At one point he focused on trying to succeed in learning the guitar perfectly, but it wasn’t something he stressed and put too much time in. Hence why it had been so long since he’d even touched it. That infamous smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, a little laugh he partially stifled fell from his lips. “Ha ha.” Sarcasm at its finest. He had plenty of room for more tattoos. “That’s when I use you as my canvas.” Hes pushed to his feet and sauntering lazily closer his short, round, wife. The swelling of her belly seemed impossible for any human body to sustain. He didn’t make comments however, it had become clear by the way she acted, responded to comments, and something’s she’s said, that the change in her body was bothering her. “Any word on if they’ll be allowing more than the mum anytime soon?”
Tumblr media
if there was one thing she aimed to get better at, it was definitely the unintentional judgmental remarks and expressions she made with her face. she’d just made one when she’d commented on his tattoos and it wasn’t because she cared that he had them. a smile covered her lips as she spoke, ‘ i can’t lie; i’d get some of your art tattooed. ’ her lips turned slightly downward as she continued the cheery grin and her head slightly tilted. her eyes watched as he stepped near her arms lifted to rest at his shoulders, ‘ i asked when i first got there, and the nurse said she wasn’t sure. they’re having to be very cautious with who’s allowed in right now, for obvious reasons. ’

“there’s only so many things I can doodle and if cleaned anymore we’d get high off of polish and bleach.” it’s not exactly an explanation, not that she was looking for one, but more a way to say i’m so bored I’m going to cry. his fingers carefully grip the neck of the guitar to slid it off his lap and settling it against the cushions. A groan followed the words as he leans forward and stretched his back. “ it was this or giving myself another tattoo.” Gruffly laughing. He was sure Nina wouldnt like it if he did that again, but.. the chances were grand. “Everything check out ok?” Milo finally asks, smiling up to the woman who carried his baby. It killed him that he couldnt attend the appointments with her, but of course he understood.
‘ it’s nice to see you do something that you .. enjoy ? ’ if she was completely honest, nina wasn’t sure how much he actually enjoyed the guitar. she hadn’t seen him with one in a bit. but being in home for long periods of time meant that there was only so much they could do before bringing last resorts. ‘ you keep going and you’ll have no where else empty space. ’ a soft smile fell across her lips. she didn’t hate the ink that covered parts of his skin, but he did have many and she wondered how many he’d give himself during the time. ‘ yes. everything checked out well. she’s healthy. i wish you could’ve been there. ’

fingertips reached for the knob of the door that opened to their home. the visits to meet the doctor and check on the health of the baby that grew inside her had been getting only slightly more frequent and unfortunately her husband hadn’t been able to go with her. it had been a bit of a bummer, but they both understood with current events and potential health risks for everyone that it had to be that way. they’d said goodbye and she left for her appointment and recently returned. as she stepped into the door she placed her things down in the chair near the table, ‘ milo !’ she called out unsure of where he was. stepping further into the kitchen she then makes her way into another room where she’s able to find him, ‘ hey, giving it another go i see..’
Gritting his teeth he's cursing under his breath as once again when he pulled his fingers down the strings the sound was not right. It had been two years he believed since he'd even touched his guitar. So, obviously now, when the whole world was shut down and they were restricted to their home it made perfect sense to pull it back out. Pushing out a breath he's slipping his fingers ever to slightly and when he strums the guitar this time it didnt make him want to knock his teeth out with a hammer. "Okay," his pink tongue drags along his lesser lip and he settles a bit more comfortable in the couch.

he’d made his way by her side, as she found him doing a lot more recently. maybe it was the simple fact that he’d been intrigued by the pregnancy but maybe it just brought a little more happiness between the two. she’ watched as his fingers almost tangled around the bump of her belly and the expressions he’d made as the comment fell from his lips. the smallest of smiles crossed her lips as she observed, eyes shifting between him and the bump of her belly. as he moved away her eyes became focused on only him and his movements. nina often found herself watching him, probably more than he did her. it was an unusual occurrence, but it was becoming mote usual for her. ‘ yes, twice, and i believe next thursday. you’ll have to let me double check, because it may be wednesday. ‘ one thing hadn’t changed, her ability to forget things. ‘ you think you’ll be able to go? ‘
It still seemed surreal. Months had passed since they found out about Nina's pregnancy and time now seemed to go on and on. She was in her second trimester now. There was no hiding the bump that she had seemed to grow over night and it physically hurt him when he thought of just how much bigger she would get. Honestly, he couldn't wait. She radiated in her pregnancy. Her skin seemed to glisten and she carried herself with such poise. A large palm slide over her naked belly, his free hand pressing up her top when the fabric tried to hide where his child grew. "They're sleeping." His words come out nearly like a whisper, as though not wanting to disturb the unborn child. Was the baby sleeping? Who knows. But they were kicking like he wanted. Lips press tightly in a line and he pulls his touch away. "When is your next appointment? Its twice a month now, yeah?" Missing an appointment was something he tried not to do. @cabrcra

2:25pm. that was the time it was when they landed. just a little later than expected seeing as they left london at 10am. the day had flown by and sleeping on the plane wasn’t as easy as it had been previously. the seat she’d been given was extremely uncomfortable, and her mind was flooded with restless thoughts that she didn’t see going away anytime soon. the weather was gloomy, which she expected even though she’d wish there would’ve been some sort of sunlight. she was tired, exhausted actually, and she had no plans of meeting up with her family immediately. she wanted to, but she couldn’t. they had to get checked into the hotel and get a few more things ready. she wasn’t even sure what needed to be done, honestly, but she’d find something. avoiding her problems was the easiest thing for nina to do, but she knew they were on a deadline. milo had to get back to work and didn’t have forever.
nina was hoping the reunion would go smooth. she wanted it to, but it was simply wishful thinking. her father would be a little harder to get around. the approval she sought to get she was certain would take some time which was awful because it was time they simply didn’t have. they had lives in london and had to return to them sooner than later. nina’s was easier to get around, but milo’s, his was tough and she knew that. the deadline was a short one, three days, but she was positive she would be staying a little longer. she’d been away for months and was bound to not want to leave. despite the fright she felt of her family, she was even more afraid that once she returned and got to see them that she wouldn’t be ready to return so soon. she’d made a deal with milo though, that she’d return no more than four days after he did. she had to keep her word and do just that, despite what she may have wanted.
after getting checked into the hotel because it was evident milo didn’t want to stay at her childhood home, they’d gotten a moment to finally breathe and she was grateful for that. ‘ why is it only 3:30? i am exhausted. ’ there was a sigh following her words as she laid back on the bed. ‘ how are you feeling? ’ just as quick as she’s laid back she found herself sitting back upright, her head turning to him.

his hardened stance and gritted features soften as he looks upon her. where his muscles had been taut with anger towards the one friend he’d leaned on the most growing up. his eyes had been dark, a swirl of red behind once emerald irises giving away to his displeasure. just moments prior all you had to do was glance in his direction and you would be able to feel the rage, the pure unadulterated need to punch something, to hurt someone. he’d been that angry. he had been that enraged. but all it took was just one slight glance at his new blushing bride. everything stopped. his entire being deflated and he stood there like a child being scolded for staying up past his bed time. looking at her was hard and so he dropped his chin, his lashes falling upon the apples of his cheeks as he listened to her words letting her say whatever she needed and not daring to say anything in return. nina had every right to be upset and she had every right to be angry at him. honestly he knew that she wouldn’t appreciate dylan being there, but he never thought it would go this far. if he’d known that everything would have escalated this far he wouldn’t have reached out whatsoever. the slight need to reconnect with a friend had just sent his wife of barely fourteen days walking out of their home and away from him. despite the need he felt to follow her out of the home and practically drop to his knees and beg her to come back, talk to him. he didn’t. she was allowed her space, even if that meant it was space away from him. he was certain that she was most likely texting her mate and  that he woudn’t hear from her for at least a good few hours if not a few twenty four.
his back had fell hard against the front door and he’s throwing his head back against it hard with a grunt of anger barely able to make it past his gritted teeth. fingers begin to curl into fists at his side only to busy themselves with pulling at the dark strands of hair that sat upon his head so unruly. eyes squint and he feels the need to scream, to lash out, to do something. a burning in his eyes begins and he feels weak when feeling the obvious tears slide down his heated cheeks. he’s reaching out to the table nearest and grabs the closest thing that he can get his fingers around and throws it in a fit of rage. the sound of the vase slamming against the wall fills his ears and he stares down at the broken ceramic. his breathing is shallow, the need for a deep breath hits him hard and he isn’t able to get it. the man pushes back against the door and he slides down to the floor. how had he managed to fuck up this bad?
it’s easily hours later before he moves from where he sat and he only moves because his phone chimes. practically the man runs into the great room to reach for his mobile hoping that when he checks his phone that it would be nina. unfortunately though the text was not from his very upset wife, but from his mum. milo nearly didn’t even open it, but had become so happy that he did. brows furrow and he bends to sit on the edge of the sofa and reads the text probably a good ten times or more. ‘i said i wouldn’t tell you, but she’s here. whatever you did to this poor girl, get your head out of your arse and grow up.’ the entire time she was gone and he had thought for sure that she was with sienna. he’d been wrong. when nina walked out instead of calling her friend she’d called his mother and now his mother was sending him a very heated text.  obviously he’s in his car and driving with way too much speed to the home that he grew up in. it’s late. he’s not sure of the exact time, but with the sun having been down for hours it’s pretty damn obvious. when arriving at the home he’s already grasping the key he still had and was ready to open the door when it’s thrown open in his face. the woman on the other side did not look happy and he’s taking a few cautious steps backwards and away from his mum. “i didn’t tell you where she was so you could come out here and make things worse. she’s resting. leave her be. you are not welcome in here right now, not when she’s come to me seeking solace and you are the obvious problem.” once again he’s left to stand there as though being scolded and really he was. the door was slammed in his face and left stunned he retreated back to his car and that’s where he sat for hours watching the house and able to notice the light in his bedroom flicker on and then off. nina had obviously gone to bed.
the front door was opening and he’s exhausted. he doesn’t move. he doesn’t get out of the car to argue with his mother who was approaching the car in her large t-shirt and pink plaid pajama pants. impatiently she’s tapping her fist against his windshield and reluctantly milo turns the key - noticing the led numbers saying 2:40 - and rolls down the window. “i’m not leaving.” his voice is rough and he’s rolling his head back to rest against the back of the seat. anne’s gaze is soft, still obvious disappointment clear in her features, but at least she’s not chewing him out this time around. his mum reaches out her small hand and gently cradles his cheek, his eyes close and he feels like he could break down right there, but he manages to hold himself together. the woman brush her thumb over his cheekbone and with a gentle sigh pulled away her touch and nudges her head in the direction of the door when he lookstat her so sadly. it killed the woman that the pair were under so much stress and that it had led to this. she understood the need her son had to reconnect with someone who had been practically his rock at one point and time especially when it was clear that he was having trouble dealing with everything that had been tossed in his direction as of late. she also understood how nina felt though and agreed that milo should’ve known better than to invite someone whom nina felt was no good to the home they shared. anne loved dylan. she always would. that didn’t mean she agreed with the young woman’s obvious attempts at making things rough for others.
milo was hesitant to leave his car, but did so walking into his childhood home with his mother and removing his boots to leave by the door. everything in him aches to go up to where he knew nina was, but he needed to try and relax and he definitely needed some food in his stomach. anne made him a sandwich and he eat it silently while leaning against the counter. “thank you.” the man murmured just before his mum moved towards the stairs and made her way to her bedroom. he wasn’t very far behind, but he lingers at the door with a slight hesitance when he turns the knob and enters the dark room. it takes a moment, but his eyes adjust to the darkness and he’s able to make out her small frame curled up in his bed. it broke his heart honestly. undressing down to his boxers he’s carefully crawling into the bed beside of her, his arms instantly looping around her frame and pulling her slowly into his chest. his eyes close and he exhales a relieved sigh while his hand lays upon her stomach and his thumb strokes her smooth skin gently and the warmth of his lips is pressed tenderly to her hair line. milo hadn’t wanted to wake her, but if she happens to stir and she wants him to leave he would in an instant.
Tumblr media
the day had been long and at one point she didn’t think it’d ever end. too many things were happening at once and truthfully, she wasn’t handling it all that well. the need to reach out to val and let her know what was happening was strong, she wanted to tell her elder sister what was going on, but she couldn’t. she had to keep the circle of people that knew small, partially because it was so early..but also because nina knew that val had a tendency to tell her parents most things - as did nina - but this was something that nina needed to be able to tell herself. the news that she’d gotten married would be a shock, but the news of a baby following would potentially cause chaos in the cabrera home. nina needed to be there to handle that.
she’d spent most of the night giving herself distractions in one form or another. she couldn’t allow her mind to settle and pinpoint to what had happened earlier in the day. if she thought about it she was bound to breakdown and exhaust herself even further. it worked for a while. she and anne had talked, well nina had and anne just listened giving input only when the time allowed. somehow she’d managed to get on the topic of what had happened for a bit and like expected nina had allowed herself to shed tears, but they were of anger. she wasn’t sad, no, she was angry. she felt as if milo knew her distaste for the other and yet there she was. nina blamed him. but eventually nina steered the conversation away from that and had began talking about the plans that she’d been successful at planning in order to get a few shoots back-to-back for the next couple of weeks before she felt her modeling would come to a pause. she’d also mentioned that she was almost positive the agency told her they’d began looking for possibly a few she could do even when she was showing, which honestly brought her joy. for the most part, she enjoyed the gigs that she’d been involved with and was sad to know that she’d have to stop for a while. hearing that they’d try to make accommodations brought a smile to her lips, and the excitement was visible when she finally told another.  but eventually, she’d grown tired. whether it had been from the amount of hours that had passed since she’d been up or because she’d managed to exhaust herself with the anger and worry that filled it, it didn’t much matter. she was just ready to sleep, and so she’d apologized to anne for the inconvenience she felt she caused and headed up the steps.
the bedroom she’d found herself in was all too familiar, which made sense as she’d spent several months sleeping there. when she’d first entered the room she hadn’t gone straight into it and turning on the light. she’d left it off. too lazy to really do much else than sleep she’d made her way to the edge of the bed before moving to sit on the floor and allow herself time to just breathe. her mind flooded with things she’d wished she would’ve said before leaving, but she’d said what she did and there was no taking any of it back. she still blamed him, wished that he’d had enough sense to at least meet the other somewhere other than their home but instead he didn’t. she felt things could’ve went entirely different had the other not opened her mouth about the alcohol. nina didn’t consume it, despite the couple of times she had, and certainly not now. it wasn’t like the other girl knew but nina felt she at least knew that. it was all part of the plan, she felt and for that reason alone she realized that perhaps it wasn’t entirely milo’s fault. he couldn’t be the only one at blame when the other had been the one at fault from the beginning. nina knew dylan, and she knew the type of person she was. she should’ve expected something like that to come from her lips, but the issue was that she had no idea the other was there. she was caught off guard. it didn’t matter how long the thought lingered, she should’ve trusted him. she did trust him. but one mention of alcohol could send her flying with anger. he struggled with that, why would she..that wasn’t even a question, nina knew the answer. she’d already explained the thoughts to milo. it was time to let go. it she didn’t she’d allow the anger to consume her, and that would be her downfall.
time came where nina had had enough time to think, enough time to truly process her thoughts on her own and without the insight of another. she’d made peace with what happened, her part, and most importantly she’d forgiven him. she hadn’t said it to anyone, especially not him, but she had and in the morning she had plans on returning home and apologizing for leaving. for that night, though, she needed to rest. turning on the light to the bedroom she was shuffling around to find any clothing that he’d left which surprisingly included one of the first tees of his that she’d ever worn. she’d taken off the clothing she’d been wearing that day and slipped on the one she’d found. she was exhausted and taking a shower wasn’t in the agenda; she hoped he didn’t mind. curling up under the blankets she’d taken comfort in the bed and on the side opposite of where she’d remembered sleeping. she wanted to feel connected despite just how far they actually were. and shortly after laying down, she’d fallen asleep.
sometime during the middle of the night he’d made his way up to the room and she hadn’t noticed. she doesn’t remember the time she’d gone to bed considering she hadn’t the slightest idea where she’d left her phone but it didn’t matter. the early bird would rise soon enough and she’d be able to go home. the slight movements he’d caused between getting in and lacing his arm around her had brought her out of the sleep she was in just the slightest. it was enough for her to recognize that she wasn’t alone anymore but not enough for her to fully be awake and know just what was happening. it didn’t matter as part of her was aching for him to be in bed beside her. his fingers drifted over her flesh and her brows her slowly tugging together as she became that much more aware. the smallest of smiles was able to find its way across her lips and the simplest of words forming to pass her lips. ‘ i love you. ’ with the words leaving her lips and the content that was provided by him being there she was easily able to drift back to sleep.

her coming out of the room was really not surprising. dylan had said what she did in an attempt to get a rise out of nina and well, she got what she wanted. milo had turned to face his bride, her cheeks flushed, but not from the reason they usually were, from anger instead. her voice was low, but not in the sweet and light way as usual, but in a way that was dangerous where he could depict and tell that she was barely grasping hold of control to not raise her voice. her words though calmly spoke were sharp as a knife. she had faith in him, her words made it clear that what dylan had said didn’t affect anything she felt or thought about him and that was a relief. with his back to dylan his shoulders drop when he hears broken words from behind him and then the sound of the door opening and closing. it didn’t bother him if he ever saw the woman again. it didn’t matter.
eyes squint and he’s wanting to close the distance between he and nina, but he knows better. there was no doubt in his mind that if he tried to comfort her that she’d shove him away, shrug away his touch.  “i don’t know.. what to say.” he clears his voice, green hues darkening as he stares at her and tries to understand just what she was thinking, how she feels. “.. please yell at me.” because yelling he could handle. her doing this calm thing with him, holding herself back wasn’t not okay. it wasn’t healthy in his eyes. and he really thought it was much worse. if she was angry he wanted to know. he wanted her to scream it, to push him, to call him names.
in his short twenty four years he’s managed to fuck up many things. had he just managed to add his marriage to that list? maybe just maybe if he dropped to his knees and begged not only nina, but the lord above, perhaps maybe things wouldn’t be as bad as he knows they are.
Tumblr media
when words even begin to form from his lips and letters being formed to make those words, she wanted to roll her eyes. she didn’t want to hear it..none of it. the day had been rather exhausted in itself and coming home to see the girl that she’d thought he’d somehow managed to release himself from didn’t make it any more exciting. in fact, she was even more exhausted. how had she actually managed to keep herself as calm as she had? she wasn’t sure. but she had and that’s what really mattered. she’d managed to do that, and she knew that now wasn’t the time to discuss it. she didn’t want to. nina had found herself many times running away from issues when it came to confrontation, and with dylan she found it much easier because she was forged with anger and memories that she’d rather forget, but milo, she loved him. nina loved him and confronting him with any sort of discourse wasn’t going to be an easy road, therefore; she was going to simply remove herself from the issue all together. ‘ what is there to say, milo? i don’t like her, and i don’t want her here. i can only see her as someone to tempt you, someone that wants nothing more than to ruin your happiness and you allowing her to come into our home just isn’t acceptable. i get the history the two of you have, but she isn’t good for you and the sooner you see that the better. ’ there was a sigh puddling from her lips and it brought her pain what she was going to say next, but she had to, for herself. ‘ i meant what i said, that i’d be back, but right now..i can’t be here. i’m sorry. ’ those words were ones that he’d been so irritated at her for saying and just like that, a simple conflict that wasn’t brought on by her had sent them passing her lips once again.
she wanted to tell him just how mad she’d gotten to come home and hear the voice of the other girl, but she didn’t. what she had said was enough and she couldn’t bare it to be there anymore. the tears she’d been struggling to keep back were getting worse by the second and she refused to stay in the home anymore. nina had grabbed just two things before she left, her phone and bag that had still been strapped across her body. after the two simple words and seizing of her belongings nina was out of the house and headed towards the small cafe that was barely four hundred metres from the home. when she made it inside, with no spotting of milo she’d gotten her phone and called her mother-in-law to come rescue her. nina, of course, explained to anne that it was urgent and that she’d explain further once they were together. during the time that she’d waited nina had gotten a coffee, she was after-all american, and had managed to getting herself together before the elder had gotten her.
the ride home was a bit quiet as nina was unsure what to say, but within the words that she had the tears that she’d been so reluctant to release found their way to the surface and puddling from her eyes. ‘ i can’t do this.. ’ were just few of the words that had spilled from her lips while the elder assured nina that things would get better and trying to comfort her in any way possible. by the evening, the two had spent a great amount of time talking and even watching a little here and there, but nina had grown tired by the constant worry and emotions that filled her. she needed to rest, and so she did. the room that she’d spent endless nights in was the one that she found herself, despite the desire not to. she’d found a t-shirt and managed to slip that on as well. she just wanted peace. she’d found it in the very things that she wanted to escape from.

i’m fine. no, no she most definitely isn’t. the tone of the young woman’s voice was definitely something that he knew wasn’t good. in the time he’s known nina, whether they were together romantically or when they were just friends, he’d only heard her use that voice a few times. it was never good. she wasn’t yelling. it was a very cool and relaxed tone, but.. he knew that it was wouldn’t be like that for long and it was his responsibility to rid her of the problem at hand. that problem just so happened to be standing in front of him with a shit eating grin on her painted red lips. the smile made him sick to his stomach and he could see it in her eyes that she’d saw the shift in his own, the flash of red hot anger that was directed towards her. he was quiet for a moment, waiting to hear for the sound of the front door to open once again, but it doesn’t. nina was still there and had either sought after a safe place upstairs or had dipped into the office.
two strides forward and he’s standing close to dylan, too close honestly. he’s in her personal space, but he doesn’t care. the man towers over her and she stands her ground. she always had. it’s clear that he doesn’t intimidate her, but that doesn’t matter. “she’s pregnant.” the fact that she’d offered alcohol to nina had pissed him off. though admittedly she didn’t know about that, it didn’t matter to him. he knew dylan enough to know that she was also only doing so to try to poke at nina, to get a rise out of her. the shift in her eyes doesn’t go unnoticed and he’s shaking his head warning the woman to not open her mouth again. “you need to go. it’s clear that she’s not comfortable with you being here and this is her house.” milo backed away and ran his fingers through his hair, watching the woman as she grabbed the untouched flute of alcohol that she’d poured for him and downed it in an instant.
dylan had grabbed her bag and turned on her heel, head canting as she hummed and moved up close to milo. her hand went to press to his chest and he’s closing his fingers around her wrist a little roughly, enough to cause her to make a small noise. “time to go.” he says and pulls her behind him as he walks with her towards the foyer, happy to see that nina was no where to be seen. the woman with him though jerks away her hand and cocks a brow at the man. “playing family? what happened to you not wanting to marry and have kids with her?” the ice in her tone could freeze anyone and his brow shot up, honestly surprised she’d say anything like that. especially knowing that nina was close and could probably hear her. “need to get over this jealousy dylan. you didn’t want me, remember?” he throws the words at her.

between the few moments that nina had spoken her words and felt herself getting more anxious than she’d ever really felt before, she’d dipped into the office. the space was rather crowded by things that they hadn’t found the perfect spot and that was okay. it took time to completely get a home together and with the both of them practically working all the time or finding time to be with each other, some things had yet to be put away. she wasn’t really stressing it all that much as there was a door meant to be closed and hide those things. the moments that she’d taken to herself had proven to not be long enough as the pair had come from another room which she assumed could’ve only been the common area and the words spilling from the girl’s lips, despite how low they were, were loud enough to be heard by her. this only seemed to trigger the anger she felt and it ultimately...exploded.
nina was always a rather calm person; her anger very rarely got to her. she’d been taught at a young age to only let certain things trigger it. silly things weren’t a reason to get angry, but this girl wasn’t a silly toy stringing along set in place to test her, no. dylan was intentionally there, intentionally trying to ruin things and she wouldn’t stand for it. as she stepped from the smaller room that had been situated just near the door the color of her cheeks were stained with heat. she was flustered. nina couldn’t even remember the last time she’d been this upset, but here she was and the words that spilled from her lips next weren’t to be stopped. ‘ you realize i’m here, right? i’m not deaf, nor am i dumb. i’m well aware of what milo wanted, and what he didn’t. we are...you know, together. married, now. and if i for even a split second thought he didn’t want any of this, trust me, it wouldn’t be his burden. but what i believe you fail to understand is that despite what milo wants or didn’t, he isn’t running. he isn’t hiding from this, he’s growing up..something i don’t see in the future for you. instead of standing here and making your remarks trying to anger me, how about you get the hell out of my house instead. ’ there were a million ways that she could’ve handled it, and the biggest part of herself wanted to yell the words at the other, but she’d managed to stay as calm as possible. the words that left were lips were stern and she wasn’t asking the other to get out; she was demanding it. ‘ and on your way out, take your alcohol. i don’t want it; milo doesn’t, and if i see you here against pregnant or not, i’ll take you out myself, got it? ’
