What inspired you to create Castaway Barnacles AU, and have you ever thought about making a cover page for it?

Ima be real dude, it was just an idea I just put out and it just took hold. Not a whole lot behind it

I’m gonna ask this again: has the final season 2 episode of Pokemon Horizons inspired you to create Castaway Barnacles AU? Also, do you only reply to everyone’s questions at nighttime?

Well so far they’re centering in on the previous Octonaut members (Dashi, Shellington, Peso, and Tweak)

As for the agents, I think it’d be Paani, Natquik, Min, Bud, Tracker, and Pearl

But to be clear, they’re focusing on ANYONE who they deem useful, so in reality (outside of Calico Jack and Kwazii due to either not being of serious use or not enough information) every agent and Octonaut is a target

Does Bianca not feel confident in professor Natquick as she used to in the past.

No her confidence in Professor Natquik is still as strong as when she was young.

Hello! I want to ask why your FNoF redesigns of William and Henry have notes with their birth names. I know that Vincent and Fredrick were their names in the original lore of your au, but why were their names changed? And if the note says that these were their birth names, does this mean that they changed them themselves? If so, why?

I’m kinda working out a lot of wrinkles in my creative process so I sadly don’t have an answer

what are bianca opinions on her brother crew? I know she hasn't met the crew except peso, but I just want to know.

Barnacles has definitely told Bianca about the rest of the crew

Her thoughts on them?

She adores Peso. He saved her cubs from a walrus colony, helped find them an ice float, and after they were rescued he made sure she and the cubs were alright after a long journey. Captain Barnacles was very grateful.

Bianca thinks Kwazii is very amusing. Barnacles has told her all about his jump into action attitude and she likes to poke fun at Barnacles for having a similar tendency. She thinks Barnacles made a great choice for a lieutenant.

She’s met Tweak back in C.L.A.D.E through Barnacles and she admires her engineering skills. Tweak helped her feel better about Barnacles taking on such a dangerous job.

Dashi helped set up a connection to her den so the twins can still be in contact with each other (and later set up a better one thanks to Tracker). Bianca and Dashi would share pictures back and forth to keep each other up to date.

Shellington, in her eyes, is such a sweetheart. Barnacles has told her about the Vegimals and she shared some parenting tips she’s picked up through her own experience. Shellington is so grateful.

She met Inkling when Barnacles was recruited. Inkling has reassured her that Barnacles would be safe and, unbeknownst to her, sent funds to C.L.A.D.E has a gift upon Bianca’s retirement from the agency. Inkling knew Barnacles would be worried about leaving Bianca behind so he wanted to add more assurance. It’s the least he could do

Did Barnacles and Bianca get along with many of the C.L.A.D.E agents there and director Scratch?

Director Scratch was very fond of the twins. She spoke very highly of them to many of her peers and C.L.A.D.E’s investors

Hello, just wondering what kind work did Barnacles and Bianca did in C.L.A.D.E? Did they do similar work like Kit and Sam?

Yes they did!

Thanks to the tracking skills they learned in Polar Scouts and the mentoring from Professor Natquik, they were incredible animal detectives/experts.

And due to them being polar bears, their strength and size came in handy with many missions.

They weren’t just sent out in cases though

If an agent was in trouble, they were sent out to help/rescue them as they were some of the strongest agents in C.L.A.D.E

These good deeds and such helped the polar bears twins make a name for themselves

In regards to your vent, im terribly sorry that you feel how you do. However you started online (I wouldnt know because I wasnt there to see any of it) clearly wasnt the easiest thing and im sorry that its done to you all these things. Im so so sorry if this doesn't help or I dont sound comforting, but I don't know how to comfort people, but people who have gone that far literally make me want to hurl out of fear for them, so I guess im just trying to say im so so so sorry that things have happened and you feel how you do. I swear that most of those feelings are just your head because I know how it feels to feel guilty for just existing. It's the dumbest thing ever, and I know all the guilt and "do i really deserve this" feelings. Idk if that's helping, but idk what else to say other than I understand why you'd feel how you feel and why and what it feels like,,, brains are actually ridiculous things sometimes and I really wish there was a way to just tell them to 'stop, you're being genuinly absurd right now,' but unfortunately biology is weird. Im so so so sorry that things have happened how they did, and you feel how you do, but if its any consolation, me and hundreds of other people dont think you're bad or undeserving, and I swear im not just saying that because you make cool art. I've seen you talk to people just for the sake of talking and you are so kind and friendly and I think that's amazing of you. We were all kids once who say stupid things we shouldn't have and let our egos get the better of us, trust me, sometimes I wish I could toss myself into a meat grinder over the literally dumbass things ive said and the relationships ive lost.

Im sorry if im rambling or making things worse, but that stuff genuinely terrifies the shit out of me, and i just want you to be okay. I just want everyone to be happy but life is a bitch sometimes and doesnt let that and its the dumbest thing ever. Im just trying to say that I think you're a good person who deserves to be happy and be loved regardless of if you believe me or not. Biology is a jackass that makes us be dumb when we're young and our brains mull over the literal stupidest things. No one is undeserving of love or friends or just goodness in general because we messed up years ago, but especially not you. I think you're amazing and good and talented person who has clearly grown so much, its obvious in how you feel remorse for what you once did. You wouldn't be a better person if you didnt recognize that "i messed up once" but you do so at least that should mean something. But not to be that person, but genuinely, the past is in the past and no matter how much we want to change it, its happened, and we can only take what we've learned and moved forward with it.

Im so so so incredibly sorry and terrified for you, so please at least just take out of this that people care and understand how you feel. Also i swear im not trying to sit here and say "you shouldn't vent because it worries me/followers" - if it helps, go for it, I try not to but venting REALLY helps me in the moment AND the long run, especially after ive been a bottle-er all my life.

Long long story short but you DO deserve goodness and friendship and love and any and all negativity is either 1. Jerks online who don't know when to stfu, or 2. Your brain going haywire, and PLEASE trust me when I say, when you're spiraling and worrying, at least trying to tell yourself that "wait, my brain is just being ridiculous" helps sometimes.
