Welcome to the studyblr I started sarcastically only to become legitimately invested in. Everything that I should've put here is in the pinned post, happy scrolling.Exclusionists will be chased away with particularly threatening stationery.

Note
What are your thoughts on the book "Quiet"? I've had it on my shelf for a while, but never bring myself to start it.
It’s fascinating! I also had a similar experience; in fact, I only picked it up in the first place because I’m working through my TBR list.
What really stands out about this book is how well-organized it is; unlike a few other case-study based nonfiction books I’ve encountered before, it’s straight to the point and links everything to something tangible that the reader has most likely experienced in their own life.
Because of this, you don’t have to read the chapters in order, and you can go through the index and find a premise that you find intriguing - that way, the book isn’t so intimidating.
Happy reading!

23.07.21 // friday

this post has been in my drafts for over two weeks because there's been absolutely nothing new or interesting in my life to talk about.
school's stressful as always, im watching another tv show, conan gray made my cry again, so did my chemistry teacher. july has no spice, and everything is so mundane :/

11.01.22.
Swapped out the extra-fine nib of my Lamy for the 1.1mm stub I picked up when I purchased it. Had never tried out a nib other than extra-fine given that my writing is very small, but I thought a stub nib would make my writing look cool. I was right. It does make my writing look cool. Almost makes me wonder if I should look into learning calligraphy but given that I tend to prefer minimizing flourishes in my life, I'm not quite sure it'd be a good fit. Hence, the stub nib; I get to look at my handwriting in a slightly different font whilst changing nearly nothing about how I write.
On a completely unrelated note, I've never actually been in the right headspace to watch Phantom Thread despite the soundtrack having haunted me for years. Think Jonny Greenwood's managed to finally wear me down though. We'll see if I get around to watching it tonight; chances are high, but the book on my nightstand is always tempting.
