nicholas hoult as 1931 renfield appreciation post !!!

this part is not talked about enough!! it's my absolute FAVOURITE i get so giddy over it, I think it's so so cool the way they recreated 1931 scenes so perfectly and I absolutely adore seeing nicholas hoult play renfield like dwight frye. like, especially in the top pics after renfield basically goes insane cause I've always been saying that I wish his renfield was written a little more deranged to keep it truer to the source material (and cause it feels a little like they decided to completely forget the fact he was a literal asylum patient so hes more likeable) so it's just really cool even just having a few seconds seeing nicholas hoult acting like that, cause he did it so well.
