4:50 PM — jaemin watches you struggle with a bunch of boxes in hand. you wobble right next to him and feel your arms shake. without a second thought, jaemin takes the boxes away from your hands and carries them himself.

7:09 PM — “and we got it!” photographer!jaemin applauds you and husband!jeno at your photoshoot. photographer!jaemin looks at his shot and stares at it with a sigh. “that should have been me..” shaking his head, he looks at you and jeno with a small smile. “nice shot you guys! let’s go take another”

[21:29] ex!jaemin’s grips the steering wheel tight after picking you up at some party you were in. you accidentally butt dialed him the moment a random frat boy was hitting on you. don’t by bryson tiller was playing softly in the background, as he drives through the streets of seoul. after a moment of silence you finally spoke up. “thanks for saving me by the way” you murmured. ex!jaemin hums, “no problem” and the silence comes back.

‘i want you back as ever’ is what ex!jaemin wanted to say. he was too engrossed with his thoughts that he missed the opportunity to say it. “jaems?” you bring a hand up to his face. “huh?” he says, dazed. “we’re here” you quipped. ex!jaemin pursed his mouth shut. after gathering a lot of courage, he finally asks you the question. “y/n can we talk?” he stops you from openimg his car door and leaving him once again. “there’s nothing to talk about jaemin” you say quietly. ex!jaemin sighs, massaging his temples.

“please.. i regret it so much. i’m so fucking sorry for hurting you. i beat myself up everyday for breaking the one promise i promised to keep and that was to never hurt you but i did..” he pauses for a while, “i still love you, you know” he finally looks at you in the eye. “jaemin..” you start, “aish why did i even do that” he smacks his face against the steering wheel. “jaemin listen to me!” you slap his shoulder, jaemin looks up abruptly, “yes”

“i know where you’re headed but i’m not ready right now” ex!jaemin looks defeated at this point. “but,” you pause. his head perks up at the mention of ‘but’ “i’ll think about it tonight” you send him a small smile. ex!jaemin flashes a smile, “you won’t regret it again, baby. i promise”

[18:28] “god, are you even a fucking gamer like you said you were? my goddamn dog could probably do a better job than you” gamer!jaemin trashtalks you through the microphone dangling on his headphones. “that’s great if you’re fucking dog could do better than me njaem14! but how about instead of trash talking, why won’t you help me bust the enemy team down cause it gets tiring to support your busty ass wherever you fucking go” you retort, furiously tapping the buttons on your controller.

“touchè neoy/n. touchè” a small smirk creeps up on gamer!jaemin’s face. “oh, it’s on” gamer!jaemin thinks to himself as he grips the controller tighter than ever.

a little later after the round ends, all of the players gather to the main menu waiting for other servers to be played on. ‘ding!’ a message notification pops out from the corner of your screen.

[22:59] stoner!jaemin offers you a blunt. you shook your head no, jaemin shrugs and blows out rings. “that’s hot” you compliment him. jaemin smirks, he pulls you closer to his chest and leaves butterfly kisses along your neck

[19:22] “i dare you to act like your role, daegang for a day” you say out of the blue. jaemin eyes widened, “huh? you want me to act all cold to you?” he raises a brow. you nod your head. “i think you’re hot when you do it” you muttered before errupting into giggles. “huh?” jaemin makes a face at you. “nothing. dare starts now!” you cupped his face. suddenly, jaemin’s eyes went from heart eyes to a cold stare. “yah. what are you doing?” he gets into character. you squealed and hid your face with a throw pillow. jaemin scoffs and wraps an arm around you. “softie” he says stoically.

[21:40] “one venti iced caramel machiato for y/n!” the starbucks barista calls out. you scrambled out of your seat, making you drop your papers from school. “aish..” you cursed. grabbing your papers hurriedly. suddenly, you felt a hand touch yours. you looked up and see a boy, staring right back at you. you felt your face burn as you looked down and grabbed the rest of your papers. you stood up and adjusted your glasses. the boy stares down at you and hands your papers. “t-thank you..” you bowed. the boy smiles and holds out his hand, “i’m jaemin”
