healing a hiatus with haikus

Oh boy. I really messed up, didn't I? What if I just say I've done absolutely nothing for the last two months and that there's been no reason for me to update the blog. Will that cover me? Little bit?  So yeah, I haven't written in a damn long time, and a lot has happened since. To be fair, I did warn of my inability to write, and I do have good excuses: After spring break, I had all my end-of-semester work and then finals, plus a week of spending time with my mom.

So let's try and tackle this, shall we?  Now, given the vast amount of material to cover, and the limited amount of patience a human being is capable of, I figure it might be a good idea to condense my experiences into little bite-sized packages, and what better way to do that then with haikus? Alas, behold my haiku recaps since the end of March. For each I'll give you three pictures. Ready set go.

These last two months have been truly lovely and I've had the opportunity to do so many cool things. oh hey

Well, I'm still alive. I'm just about to arrive in Paris, and my two-week Eurotour spring break will come to a close. The short of it is that it was a very long, very exhausting, but incredibly fun and rewarding vacation. I'm really lucky to be able to have done this kind of trip and I'm sure I'll keep memories from it for a long time. Of course I have a lot to update on. The unfortunate news is that I won't be able to do it right away. I have a test tomorrow, a final the following day, and a 10-page paper due the day after that. I have a single day free to myself on Wednesday, where I'll try to relax for once, and then as if I hadn't traveled enough, I'll be going to Nice on Thursday to meet my mom and spend the weekend down South. My hope is that I can blog a bit on my train to Nice, we'll see. I've got plenty to update on and tons and tons of pictures. But the good news is I'm alive and happy, albeit a bit stir-crazy and sleep-deprived. À bientôt, j'espère.
