Can you imagine if Anthony had said 'mmmm actually, Terry Jr stays dead because technically grant was the one who pulled the trigger so.' I don't think grant would've ever recovered. If he truly was responsible for the death of his best friend that would've been the end of grant. He wouldn't be able to recover his relationship with Linc or with Marco. He would never let go of his guilt no matter how much his son and husband would've tried to help. But Grant didn't kill Terry Jr. Of course he didn't. It was Willy fault through and through and Grant doesn't have to carry that guilt.

And willy died drowning in a teenager's piss as he rightly should.
