Your Gators went up to Ft Mac Saturday night as the heavy underdog in this years AFL championship game. The Gators started fast, scoring 2 TDs on the first few drives and never looked back. Both teams battled back and forth but in the end your Gators came out on top 32-21 and take home the Jeff Holton Memorial trophy. Our thanks to everyone who's supported the team and congratulations to the Ft McMurray Monarchs on another great season and great battle between both teams. The CMFL National title game will be September 16th hosted by the GTA Allstars of the NFC. Location of game to be released soon.

Your Gators took care of business on and off the field last Saturday. Beating the Grande Prairie Drillers 56-7 and raising money and awareness for Wounded Warriors Canada. We'd like to thank the Calgary Football Officials association and the Drumheller Community Football Association for their donations. Also a big thanks to everyone who came out to the game. At halftime longtime Gators, Linebacker Brad Richmond and kicker Ian Hewitt had their jerseys retired. Both were big parts of the team on and off the field and very much deserved this ceremony to send them off into retirement. The win for the Gators puts the team at 6-1 and head to Lloydminster on Saturday to finish out the regular season vs the Vandals.

In a rain soaked game your Gators pulled ahead 59-0 vs the Vandals after 3 quarters, when the game was called due to lightning. Your Gators host the Grande Prairie Drillers next week to kick off the first round of the playoffs. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our Wounded Warriors game.
