Pairings: Cg!Logan x Little!reader

The two of you are sitting together on the couch, watching your favourite show. You've had a great evening, ordering takeout, doing some colouring and just spending time with your caregiver, and now here you are, sitting on his lap, wearing your cosiest PJ's and absolutely covered in blankets. You don't want the night to end. But your body seems to have different ideas, eyes becoming heavier by the second.

Logan sees this, running a big hand through your hair and speaking softly.

"Think it's about bedtime for you darl'n." He says, moving to turn off the tv.

"Nooooo" you whine, reaching to grab the remote from where it's being held just out of your reach. "One more episode? Please?"

Logan begins to say something but then he sees them.

Those puppy eyes.

They stop his disapproval in it's tracks.

How could he resist?

"Ok. But only one ok? You gotta go to bed soon." He says firmly.

You nod, snuggling up to him, a fist clutching his shirt.

Logan smiles and puts on the next episode. Anything to make you happy.

Once again it ends (all too quickly in your opinion) and you freeze, trying to stay still because obviously if you do, Pa won't notice that its over and he'll just put on another, right?

" Alright kiddo, let's go."

Wrong.

"No pa don't wanna."

Logan takes your chin in his hand and tilts it up so you're looking at him before brushing the hair out of your eyes. "C'mon kit, it's bedtime. We made a deal, 'member?"

"Not even tired." You pout, crossing your arms. "Wanna stay up 'nd watch cartoons."

"We can watch cartoons tomorrow kid, come on." Logan picks you up and you try to wiggle out of his grip, thrashing in his arms.

"Pa I said I don' wanna." You whine loudly. "Lemme go."

Logan sighs, placing you back down on the couch and kneeling down in front of you.

"Look at me." He says, pulling your hands away from where they're covering your face.

"It's bedtime now ok? I let you watch an extra episode so it's actually past bedtime. We're going to brush your teeth and then we can snuggle up in bed ok?"

You huff at him "Papa I don' wanna go to bed I ain't tired. Don't needa brush my teef."

"You're too little to make those kind of decisions for yourself kiddo." Logan stands up, looking down at you with a raised eyebrow. "Now, I can carry you to bed or you can walk. Your choice."

You look up at him defiantly. "Neither."

"I did give you the choice" he says, sighing again before grabbing you and (gently) throwing you over his shoulder.

"Paaaaa" You whine into his ear. "Please! Lemme stay up a little longer!"

"It's late sweetheart c'mon." He says quietly. "Don't you wanna snuggle up in bed with your paci?"

You consider. That did actually sound great. But you want to watch tv. You start to cry a little, not knowing what to do.

"Wanna do both Pa" you whine.

Logan hears how you're crying and pulls you to his chest, kissing your forehead and shushing you gently.

"I know you do darl'n. You're a little over tired huh?"

You let out a pitiful whine, not lifting your head from where it's buried in his chest.

"I know, I know. Let's get you to bed."

He brings you into the bathroom, sitting you on the counter, helping you brush your teeth and wash the tears off your face. He brushes his teeth too, and the two of you make your way to your bedroom.

Logan sets you down on the bed, pulling the duvet over you and giving you your paci. You're glad to take it, placing it straight into your mouth, while your Pa gets into bed beside you. You scramble into his arms and tangle your limbs together, needing to be as close to Logan as possible.

He kisses you on the cheek. "Feelin better?"

You kiss the arm that he has wrapped around you. Logan smiles, feeling the plastic of your paci bump up against him.

"Still not tired Pa." You slur, obviously already half asleep.

Logan chuckles.

"We'll see about that little one."

a total doter, you want that stuffie? you get it. want to sleep in? of course! lots of kisses and hugs and cuddles.

messy playtime > finger painting and muddy puddles all the way. it’s how kids are supposed to grow up, in his opinion

would prefer to carry you, it’s no issue with his strength. easy to keep an eye on you and get some extra snuggles.

loves a movie, though it’s hard to get him to watch anything but a good animated disney classic because “they don’t make them like they used to!”

can handle a tantrum or a meltdown like a champ. he knows what it’s like, after all. such big feelings need an outlet and it’s better to let it out than keep it in.

so many sunny days spent outside with uncle steve and uncle sam, picnics at the park, walks around the city, tea parties in the garden. (though bucky does have a suspicion sam is sneaking you an extra cookie or two, but who’s to tell? not sam)

I saw daddy today!!! The ice cream truck went by their house and we got ice cream!! They got an ice cream cone and I got a bubblegum popsicle >w<

It was yummy! It was very hot today so we mostly just stayed inside and cuddled. When they were taking me home the we saw the neighborhood cat, and we went to pet him! He made biscuits on me!!!
