As you can see and probably guess, this is heavily inspired by Inso's Law :33 when I first saw that scene I thought, "oh lol this is def them haha" then it just hit me to do whatever this is😔

It's basically some of the 3-E casts interacting with Raimon (mainly Maehara, Itona, and Isogai - I initially thought of adding Hinata there soon buuttt well. unfinished.)

This came from a thought of mine: "hey since 3-e is pretty much actively trying to bring Fifth Sector down, what if,,, the soccer gang of 3-E,,, help train Raimon,,,"

I kind of made Maehara way too dramatic too lol

It's also a test. Another one,,, for smth,,, which would probably not make it to the cut lol. I'm trying out a new concept of Kenshin techniques? (Ex: kind of like Kenshin Armed, and whatnot)

That up there though?? It was a very old draft of chapter 1. Or the prologue. Idk, I forgot, but it wasn't the final?? It was more for shits and giggles type of fic that would not make it past outside my doors to see the light of day—because I fear I'd get cancelled or smth given the... plot. The dark themes. The OOC-ness.

Some nsfw jokes here and there.... yk, with the Asassination Classroom humor and teens being teens.........

It was also more of a test.🤷‍♀️

Aside from that, I last 'modified it' (according to google docs, but it was just me fixing the spacing and grammar) around 2022. Like, a couple of months after the created date....

Some additionals about that story's version because why not:

1. Kariya's role here was very different.

— In this old draft's lore, he was a ward of this,, higher up government. And like Itona and Ritsu, he too, was a transfer student.

— I wanted to make a reference-or-some-sort to the GO series. I thought of making him pick on Nagisa — referencing to him picking on Kirino lol — but instead it was Isogai🥲

— Honestly, I kind of forgot how it went. I mostly imagined/daydreamed the scenarios, but I did wrote a few... only to delete them later because of some personal reasons, or it got lost. I used to write stuff in my notes app but the phone I used for it broke🥲🔫

— But look at the change, now! He became part of Class 3-E since the start and is good friends with Isogai :DD!

— What didn't change was his stalking tendencies....

2. Tenma's personality.

— While most of his cheery, kind, friendly, light personality retained, he was more.... violent..... and somewhat apathetic....

— It was more of a 'quiky' personality trait of his. What I mean by 'violent' was that he kicks or smacks people in a comedic-sort-of way.

— There was also when he throws erasers around. Somehow he managed to scare Okajima when he was left alone with him😔

— During Irina's debut, it was Tenma who threw the eraser and told her to get out :) honestly, I don't know if I should keep that. His personality differs significantly from the current lore now.

— The 'apathetic' aspect was him mostly being burned out. Like in the current storyline, Tenma was 'popular' in some way. Not the looks aspect, but more of a charisma aspect. He's well-known for being helpful and a hard-worker, both in an academic sense and in a practical sense. A lot of students like it when they're grouped with him because the results always flourish. I guess you also could say he's a teacher's pet? A lot of teachers like him.

— Unlike the current storyline, however, when Tenma landed on Class E, it wasn't that he stopped caring for academics, he does it in halves or not do it at all in some occasions.

3. Kayano Kaede/Yukimura Akari, our ever loving actress queen

— Um. Hm. Well, um.

— I feel ashamed of revealing but. Um. AAAAAAA😭😭😭🔫🔫🔫

— While about 50% of what she was like in the old draft retained to the current, the other 50% was....

— Girlie pop killed someone. She was also... um, not exactly, but kind of a yandere..... not really the term, but she did kill someone for Tenma (im not bothering to hide who she killed for lol, I think its obvious anyway)

— That's all I could say💀

— Aside from that, spoiler (I keep saying that even tho I probably would not be able to write the full fic lol), she does have some connection to Tenma, that's why she offed someone.

— Actually, I'm still contemplating about keeping that part of the lore — her having connections with Tenma — but it's leaning to a yes rn....

— Kayano is writing herself atp😔

— There's also this one bit. Since I made Rinka Hayami (AC) and Tsurumasa Hayami (IEG) siblings, Kayano and Hyouga are cousins in the old draft. I'm contemplating whether to keep it or not.

4. Unlike the current storyline where Tenma's first friend is Kariya (who made an appearance somewhere after Ritsu in the draft storyline), his first friend was Sugino :)

5. Tenma and Yada used to be close, but they had a 'fall out.'

— Tenma didn't know they were close.

— Yada didn't say anything to not make him feel bad.

— :)

— I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD KEEP THIS LOL BUT THE CHARACTERS ARE WRITING THEMSELVES SO MAYBE????

6. Karma and Kariya were related. It was mostly for hahas and hehes, but I scrapped the idea now since it doesn't make sense....

— Well, I could make it make sense if I try, but nothing comes up.

— But in the current storyline,,, Kariya is related to someone from the AC universe.... I'm still working out on how to make it work, but damn it I will make it work because it's so damn funny💀

7. NAGISA MY BELOVEDD

— Tenma was Nagisa's go-to when it came to Nagisa's mom :))

— In the draft, Nagisa stayed with Tenma for most of the time. 50% with Tenma (under the guise of a sleepover or group/pair project—with Kunugigaoka's standards, it's easy to convince Aki), and the other with his mother. It's mostly and on and off kind of thing but,, yeah,,,

— Hm. I'm actually contemplating whether to keep that aspect. In the current storyline, Kariya has an apartment—owned by his parents (or used to), and he lives there most of the time—do not ask how he managed to convince Hitomiko to stay there during the majority of his time in Kunugigaoka to Raimon—and Kariya became Nagisa's go-to person when his problem with his mother arises :)

8. Rinka, darling....

— hm, it's hard to say.

— I wouldn't say she was neutral... but she wasn't that close to Tenma, unlike the current storyline. Yes, they hang out, but their closeness is significantly different from the current storyline

— Now, while not much has changed about her (aside from making her part of Tenma and Kariya's friend group in the current), she was,,, more violent🥲🔫

— 'violent' seemed like a general term, and def not the one I meant but uh. She tranquilized a Fifth Sector agent for looking at her brother 'weirdly' according to her. (Not in a way you think, she just sensed smth was off and she didn't like it lol) Um yeah.

— In one of the old drafts, after Tenma and Maehara told her about Fifth Sector, she was on her way to Raimon to pick up Tsurumasa when she noticed a Fifth Sector agent just hanging close by, observing. Alarms rang in her head and, obviously, she didn't like that—the thought of being watched and observed by a dictating organization did not sit well with her, especially after knowing the experiences Tenma and Maehara had with them. She didn't want her older brother to feel any more suffocated than he already is. So, she thought of a temporary solution; get this stalker out of the equation!

— the last thing that poor man saw was a blur before something struck his neck then ✨darkness✨

— She then dragged her brother and Hamano to an ice cream shop nearby and bought them ice cream as if she didn't hide the guy's body afterward (nah, dw he's still alive; Rinka called the cops for him saying he was a passed-out drunk haha)

— I might have an old scene of it lying around somewhere... I remember writing it in my dad's phone, but he probably deleted it; who knows, he doesn't really delete stuff in his phone (I envy him for having so much damn space). I remember writing it in Tsurumasa's POV. I can't promise anything, but, I could try to rewrite it :)

9. Karasuma-sensei😌

— Not much has changed about him, but I do want to share that when Tenma, Sugino, Nagisa, Karma, and Takebayashi went to a bookstore to buy some manga, Karasuma paid for them :DD

— "O—Otou-sama...!"

— "Tenma, your daddy issues are showing."

— "Nagisa is also looking at Karasuma-sensei with so much awe, it's almost scary."

10. Now this one, I would probably keep it but it was during grocery shopping. Itona was still fairly new at the Kogarashi Manor.

— Aki asked Tenma to help her gather groceries and Tenma had Itona tag along

— It's mostly domestic; but what's comedic is Itona using his superhuman strength (I headcanon that tentacle users, after taking out their tentacles, retained some of the characteristics like their inhumane strength but a bit mellowed down).

— There was a particular scene where Aki needed something but it was on the top shelf. Itona jumped.... leaving a slightly strong gust of wind in his wake.

— Aki was not fazed—well, she was surprised but not to the point of shock. She's seen Endou and Tenma practice after all, so this was nothing to her; heck, she saw this as smth normal

— "You're pretty strong, Itona-kun :D"

— Itona: *nodding*

— Tenma, who almost fell from the force of wind: 👁👄👁

Me: *imagining some comedic scenes of my ieg x ac fic because I can't write for a few days (possibly for weeks) due to my surprisingly weak tolerance to injection pains*

Brain: Oh what about this, new headcanon: So during their paintball war for their PE, Tenma ran out of bullets and asked someone - maybe Maehara bc we live for menace Maehara - to cover for him. But then as he reloads and Maehara shoots the others, he realizes their colors are different. Maehara points out they're not in the same team. Tenma goes, "huh?" and a moment of silence. After realizing, Maehara shoots him. Tenma and Maehara tend to be in the same team, like, maybe always, so they both momentarily forget that things switched up this time

Me: oh, good idea! lmao it fits too- imagine Maehara teasing him a lot afterwards??

Brain: Yeah, ik right! It fits sm that it kind of reflects how Tenma's friends in the canon series would wound out betraying him, haha

WIP/Sneak Peak(?): Origins

"Come on, Kariya, they're not worth it."

It took a bit more coaxing from Isogai for Masaki to finally relent. He gave one last glare at the group before turning his heel and walking away, but not before grabbing Hayami's wrist and pulling her along.

He knew that if he left her alone—which he had no plans to—the girl would break somewhere else.

The girls, who were epitomes of sinister, giggled lowly. Masaki could feel their prodding gaze but he didn't want to give them any time of day—

"Haha, I can see that huge tail between your legs!"

He felt Hayami tense. He could tell that Isogai was also barely keeping it in, the more the taunts came hurling.

Masaki slowed his pace, left eye twitching in ire. He turned his face over his shoulder, smiling pettily. "That's my dick!"

He smirked, satisfaction deliciously filling him up to see the consequent reactions. Many of them sputtered, evidently in disbelief by the unexpected yet inappropriate comeback, including Isogai who exclaimed, "K— Kariya?!"

Hey now, they're teenagers. Was something like this really a surprise? If those bitches could gather the guts of splashing someone with dirty water and dare to act all innocent, then surely they could handle a bit of verbal filth right back.

The irony, truly. Masaki thought absentmindedly to the barely controlled whispers when Hayami left a particular area.

"I— I wasn't talking to you!" One of them kept going, and Masaki rolled his eyes. Of course, he knew. One would be dumb enough to not realize that they've been targeting Hayami since the start.

Using his free hand, he flipped the bird, eliciting yet another echo of scandalous gasps.

If he heard Hayami's silent, surprised giggle, he didn't say anything other than just smile in contentment.

Is this a sign of a new fic??? No, it's just insanity

A little background about me; I tend to have vivid and uncontrollable dreams. Most of them were story-like and adventurous, and the 'genre' of dreams would differ. Mostly horror for some reason.

Anyway, I won't get into it much BUT

I had a weird, but funny dream lmao. I think the reason why I had that dream was because my friends and I were talking about age gaps (nothing bad, dw, we were just laughing at who was younger and who was actually older between our friend group), and after that I went to rewatching just one episode of IEG because I am very occupied for some reason despite being summer🤩🔫

Anyway! Of course, it involves Tenma. No surprise there, but the plot of the dream went like this:

Tenma was around 10 or 11 years old (I forgot the exact age, dream logic is foggy okay 💀) here.

And for some reason, he ended up being a first year of JHS Raimon, when the series started. Funnily enough, the reason why he happened to skip 2 grades(?) ahead was when enrolling him, his dad was super tired and accidentally ticked off the wrong grade level 😭 So instead of entering elementary school like a normal kid, Tenma got promoted two years ahead and ended up in JHS. Do not ask why Raimon has an elementary division, I dunno either. I'm not sure if they have one in the canon, but oh well. And do not ask how they allowed it, or how they didn't find it odd, but I guess Tenma's grades here were surprisingly passable enough????

Oh well, congrats Tenma for the upgrade!

Ofc, it was Aki who noticed the oddity when they received Tenma's uniform. She immediately called the school like, "Hi, sorry, I think you gave us the wrong uniform by mistake—he’s supposed to be in elementary?"

Raimon admin was like, "Oh no, hold on, let us check the system—hmm, no, according to our registrar, Matsukaze Tenma is a junior high student... ah, a first year! Did you receive the second-year emblem?"

(WHY DO THEY HAVE EMBLEMS??)

Aki: "... J— Junior High?"

Raimon: "Yes, Junior High. Is there an issue...?"

Aki: "Y-Yeah, I think you made a mistake— he’s not supposed to be in junior high yet—he’s like, 10??"

Raimon: "Huh. That’s odd. But it says here in the enrollment documents that he’s registered for JHS."

Aki: "...Ah. I see. I’ll, um. I’ll call you back."

Cue Aki calling Tenma’s parents.

The parents: 😧 The dad in particular: 😨 (He definitely got a long, loud earful from his wife after that. Deserved tbh.)

They arranged a meeting with Raimon’s school board (online, since Tenma’s parents weren’t in Inazuma at the moment), and apparently, they couldn’t undo the registration just like that—he was already listed as an official JHS student in the system.

Apparently, the only way to “fix” it was for the enrolling guardians (aka the parents) to come in physically and sign the needed paperwork and to the process. But they were overseas on business, and Aki, despite being his legal guardian and relative-sister hybrid, didn’t exactly have the legal authority to do it.

Um, welcome to Bureaucracy, I guess????

So that means they have no choice but to let Tenma continue his accidental JHS journey.

Throughout the whole drama, Tenma was just outside with Aoi and Sasuke playing soccer without a care in the world lmao😭 Aoi here is still in the same age as when she was in the series.

Anyway when Aki finally explained the situation to Tenma with Aoi present, their reactions were perfectly in sync. Shocked pikachu faces!!!

Tenma's reaction was like going up and down on consecutive hills. He was shocked, then he was excited cuz "oh im finally a big kid now!" then anxious because "oh the subjects are going to be hard" then determined "i can do it, things will work out somehow!" then the dread, "oh my god, i'll be surrounded by big kids, they're going to eat me alive—" then relief, "oh it's okay aoi will be there with me!" then teror, "math. math is going to be hard. im going to fail, this is embarrassing."

Then excitement: "IM PLAYING SOCCER WITH THE BIG KIDS!!" then another dreadful terror: "im playing soccer with the big kids." which is, yes, normally would be exciting but the social pressure squashed him like a bug. Poor guy :')

Anyway, the series started. Dream stuff happens, I don't remember the events and stuff but apparently, it went well. I'm surprised Tenma didn't go to the hospital for the many scares he had (Fifth Sector, going against Tsurugi, raimon soccer club practically hating him or smth, Shindou's rough treatment with him at the exam(😭), the rough treatment from other teams, and so on and so forth.)

The dream ends there.

BUT, HERE'S MY ADDITIONAL TAKE ON IT MWAHAHAHAHA

No one knew except for Aoi and the school staff that Tenma is years younger than all of them.

When Tenma's birthday came (after the go season, idk bro, but before chrono stone), the soccer club and some people outside the team (like Taiyou for instance) were invited to a restaurant as a venue. It wasn't all that fancy, just somewhere in the middle. Tenma's parents rented a floor used for occasions from the restaurant for them. Both are present here, and they finally get to meet them!! Some greetings here and there—

(Tenma's mom: "Oh thank you for taking care of our dear Tenma! I hope he hasn’t caused too much trouble. The last time he did something like that was when he somehow set the water on fire."

Raimon: "...what😀"

Tenma: "I learned it from the guy down the street back in Okinawa!"

Tenma's dad: "He was a retired magician. Who soon committed arson."

Raimon: *insert unsettled tom meme face*)

—until they see the birthday balloons in the center of the wall.

Tenma: "Oh, yeah! I didn't tell you guys? :0"

The pieces of the puzzle just suddenly clicked.

No wonder Tenma was on the shorter, tinier side. They had all silently chalked it up to maybe a touch of malnutrition (since he doesn’t eat too much—he gets stomach aches if he overdoes it), or just a genetics thing. After all, he seemed fine. Energetic, cheerful, did backflips during practice. Just small.

No wonder he spaced out during lectures sometimes—he literally skipped two years of foundational learning, which kind of explains why his handwriting is fighting for its life, but they kind of collectively agreed it was from his shaky hands. His handwriting had gotten better as months passed by, though.

No wonder he always blinked blankly when someone mentioned pop culture from more than three years ago, before enthusiastically asking what it was. But at the same time... he never acted immature enough for anyone to seriously question it.

But there really was no reason for them to think or come to the conclusion that Tenma might be younger. Sure, his level of social cues and knowledge seemed a bit low on the bar sometimes ("tenma, just because he offered you a sticker pack and led you to a van, doesn't mean there were stickers."), but his kindness, empathy, and emotional levels made up for it. He always knew when someone needed cheering up. He just didn’t always know why.

Not to mention, there were times when he sassed people.

And academically? His grades weren’t amazing, but they were passable. Passable enough that the team didn’t dig deeper and just figured, "Yeah, he’s a bit spacey, but he’s Tenma."

No wonder the teachers seemed to coo at him too! No wonder they'd sometimes give him candy, whether sneakily or not! Which kind of set a few alarm bells from some of them- but they just chalked it up to Tenma's natural charisma and adorable-ness.

Because he was a literal child. A baby!!!

It was like the laws of the universe crashed on them and, as if the stars aligned, they all thought one thing:

Fifth Sector had a beef with a 10-year-old.

Old WIP

The underlying giddy excitement vanished as soon as he slid the door open. All eyes were on him, and usually, he'd shrink on himself from the overwhelming attention, but the anomaly behind the teacher's podium was damn impossibly to miss, and it seemed more important than the social anxiety that wrapped him by the throat.

Wha— What the—?

"Ah, you must be Matsukaze Tenma-kun!" the anomaly greeted, and Tenma didn't know whether to be fascinated by the fact that its? his? mouth wasn't moving. The octopus only had a permanent, shiny grin on its bulbous head and small, beady eyes.

It looked as if the octopus was gliding across the floor from how smooth the movement looked, but as soon as his lower body became visible, Tenma could see how each tentacle moved—

There was a gust of wind and Tenma blinked.

"T— Tenma!"

He heard Kariya's voice, accompanied by his friends' surprised exclamations, but he couldn't focus on any of them, let alone avert his gaze when the octopus was suddenly in front of him.

Wasn't it— he— they— in front of the classroom a second ago?!

"Although I wasn't informed you'd be here today, it's nice to meet you, Matsukaze-kun! I hope the trip up here didn't take a toll on you, I heard about your injuries, after all."

Tenma opened his mouth to try and respond, but all that came out was a questionable, strained noise. He closed his mouth with a barely audible click, resigning over the fact that he couldn't comprehend the words, let alone properly think.

What is going on? Who is this? Why is an octopus here? Why is it speaking? Why is it bright yellow?!

"...You don't look like an Enteroctopus Zealandicus..." Tenma uttered absentmindedly as his brain conjured an accurate image of the mentioned kind, remembering a certain topic from last year.

Tenma flinched, momentarily jumping back in fright when the octopus' head blinked, turning orange with a red circle at the center.

"That would be correct! You're a smart one, Matsukaze-kun!"

It's not a normal octopus!

"You must have a ton of questions! First off, I'm the one who blew up the moon."

There's so many things wrong in this picture.

"Secondly, I am Class 3-E's teacher. I hope we can take care of each other—"

"I look forward to seeing how creative your assassination attempts will be!" the octopus—no, the thing—chirped, somehow brimming with enthusiasm despite the words that left its non-moving mouth.

Tenma could only stare as his brain lagged.

Did he just say assassination attempts?

There was a distinct drip sound. Tenma didn’t register it until he felt something warm trickle down his upper lip. He wiped at his nose with the back of his hand.

Red.

..huh. Haven't seen this in a while, ever since being admitted.

“Oh dear,” the octopus blinked—literally blinked, with his head, now flashing into dark blue and sweating profusely. “Is this a stress-induced epistaxis?!”

Tenma swayed.

"Ah, sorry," he mumbled, blinking slowly as his vision blurred around the edges. "It's just... there’s a lot of information to take in all at once… Aki-nee banned me from coffee too, as per the doctor's orders but…”

He wobbled.

“I think I’ll be passing out now.”

His knees buckled, and then he did, barely registering the octopus' limbs wrapping around him to break his fall.

The last thing he heard before blood rushed in his ears was the panicked squawk of the octopus—“Matsukaze-kun?! Don’t go toward the light!!”—followed by several chairs scraping back.

"Tenma!"

"You damned octopus, what did you do to him?!"

"I should've tried killing you with that chainsaw!"

"Tenma? Can you hear me?"

Some shuffling noises here and there, and he could feel his head being supported by something, and it wasn't a floor.

"He's too out of it— Meg, get Karasuma-san!"

"Already on it!"

"Maehara, I need your towel— does anyone have water?"

The last thing he could make out amidst the growing dark spots was Rinka's worried eyes before the world spun into static.

One moment I was doing homework and an idea popped— 'Itona makes robot toys to keep Taiyou entertained.' and suddenly a couple of scenarios bloomed like fireworks.

Brain: WRITE THAT DOWN, WRITE THAT DOWN!!! Me: wait but what about sigmund freud— Brain: WRITE, WOMAN, AT LEAST WRITE A PROMPT SO YOU WOULDNT FORGET AND COME BACK TO IT

Anyway, this is a draft I'd like to share, it's just a short (VERY short) drabble. Like, 100 words or so lol-

SYPNOSIS FOR THIS WIP:

Times when Kariya Masaki generously treated his friends with a surprising amount of money. Or: Kariya Masaki is basically Class E’s sugar daddy.

“Wait, for real?”

Kariya rolled his eyes, shifting (read: shying) away from Maehara’s intense awed gaze. He felt something warm tingling in his stomach, and as if to dampen the sensation, he crossed his arms lazily over it. “Yes,” He replied neutrally. “I told you: it’s a treat from me for helping with the quiz last week. I could’ve failed if it weren’t…”

Realizing that he was going to ramble—damn these nerves—he cleared his throat. “Anyway, just buy that stupid manga you’ve been eyeing on already.”

“Hey, don’t call it stupid!” Despite the protest, Maehara was beaming from ear to ear. Kariya felt a sense of deja vu and nostalgia from the sight and he had to squint from the metaphoric brightness the blonde teen was emitting.

Kariya smirked, mirth swirling in his eyes. “Right.”

Maehara chuckled and then turned away, but before he could walk over to the next aisle, Kariya caught the flicker of mischief in his eyes.

“Thanks, Daddy!”

A violent shiver struck Kariya at Maehara’s suggestive yet playful tone. What the fuck?

He was left staring in disbelief at the spot where Maehara had disappeared around the corner.
