I just wanted to know about deuce real hair colors, cuz i know he dyed his hair before but i need to know if its was naturally blonde, or naturally dark-blue ??

Because i first thought it was blue but then the dreams thing in deuce part shows him with blonde and. I was like (???? Wasn’t he naturally dark blue??) and just.. my brain stopped braining ( i just don’t understand jps language, and English not my first language too so not all lot of sentences i can understand-)

the blue is his natural color -- he says somewhere earlier in the story that back in his delinquent days, he would bleach his hair blonde (as a reference to the Japanese stereotype of delinquent teens having bleached hair). so him being blonde in the dream is a little visual sign that he's back in that mindset!

I get the confusion though, especially because Dilla has two-tone blonde/blue...I'm still not sure if that's her natural color or if she, like, also dyed her hair for some reason. misplaced solidarity, maybe...?

In case anyone finds it helpful because mobility aids are horrifically expensive and inaccessible…

And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…

Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.

He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.

I want to find a new fandom and ship to be passionate about so bad but at the same time l also don't wanna be emotionally invested into any other piece of fiction ever again.

After Game of Thrones final season, Anne with an E getting canceled, the Umbrella Academy going to shit and now the shitshow that Outer Banks ended up being, arguably my biggest heartbreak of all times, it feels like a waste and not to mention all the show I started lightheartedly and got cancelled . It always ends in disappointment anyway.

Streaming networks ruined tv shows forever, writers and producers either have no power or no spinal cord to decide when their stories should end.

Either it gets canceled before getting a conclusion or they keep going until the shows become unrecognizable just for the sake of keep going because the network is offering big money.

No writer has the guts anymore to say "it ends here"...and surely the OBX writers don't.

The show should've ended last season or this season with a different and ultimate ending to fix it all, instead they ruined the work of 5 years, a dedicated fanbase, the fan favorite character with the best storyline and the biggest and only slow burn ship they had, just to get paid for 10 more episodes.

Maybe I’m dramatic but sadly I mean it with my whole chest, Outer Banks disappointed me so badly (after being so passionate and dedicated for years) that it’s changing my entire approach towards shows. It’s turning me into a passive viewer.

If you end up not caring about the show you’re making and create a product with no soul just for mass consumption then that’s what you get back, a superficial audience who’s watching just for the sake of filling time and disinterested in the story.

God how I miss when show would be on tv, one or two episodes of 45 minutes per week for 20+ episodes a season, conventions where the cast and writers could witness and connect with the fans dedication, tv networks that were ok with renewing shows to the audience/producers desire and writers who knew when to end things.

When writing always remember… a character flaw is only a flaw until becomes useful. 

Is your protagonist manipulative? Well that’s awful… until they manipulate the antagonist into making a decision that saves the lives of their friends. 

Is your protagonist a skeptic? Well that’s not good… until someone tries to lie to them. 

Is your protagonist overprotective? That sucks… until someone they love is in danger. 

Is your protagonist remorseless? Well that makes them pretty unlikeable… until a hard decision has to be made.

I know I’ve been bitching intermittently about my forced absence from screen use (this post brought to you by the wonders of talk to text) but the enforced rest might actually be fixing my brain because I just figured out how the villain scene in Hunger Pangs 2 should end after two years of not being happy with it.

I’ve been trying to fix it for two years, and I finally just realized what I should do instead and it is so much more sinister than what was originally there.

Time to make the neighbors worried as they listen to me narrate it.
