Callisto sighed. "To be honest, I could care less about all your cryptic shit right now." She brandished her pin-sword. "I'm out hunting for the Family, so make any noise or disturb me and i'll poke your eyes out." She buzzed around in the air, looking for a good place to scout from. She realized turning her back on the creature was a bad move but she was on edge and much smaller than it so believed she could get away if it pursued her.

"What the heck are you talking about? Living? I am alive, in case you haven’t noticed."

"Human? D’you think I look human to you! I’m a Fae, right? A Fae! But I am "mortal" if thats what you mean. I can die." While saying this she backed up a little. She wasn’t scared, but stating that she can die to something which didn’t look like a natural living organism was not wise. 

"Well this is…Just some forest I guess. I never go far from… This area." She was about to point to the large Willow where she lived but thought better of it.

"Thats not a proper answer." She replied, fluttering around the whole of the rabbit-dogs body keeping away from her mouth, wary of her jaws.

"What, you never seen a fae before? We’re not exactly rare ‘round here."

"Who,or what, in Willows name are you?" Callisto asked, flitting around the beasts head. She kept her distance and kept a hand on her trusty pin-sword.

"Red? Well that sounds like it sucks. Though surely you could just... fly away?" Callisto made a couple of turns around Green. "Your wings are kinda small though huh. They don't really look like they'd support your weight too well."

"Hehe my clan have got a few tricks for defending ourselves from humans. However technically male fey have just as much of a chance scaring off a human as a female, it really depends on their wing-type. I guess it just all boils down to stupid tradition.

Humans have been like that for as long as i've been alive, I suppose it's just in their nature."

"Well 'miss embodiment of hatred' oh whatever I hope you don't pose a threat to me or my kin because then I might just have to poke your eyes out."

“Then what are you?”

"Who in the Willow's name are all you people?"

"Then what are you?" 

“Humph.” To be honest, she had really shocked her, but she would never admit it.

“You’re not human, are you?”

"What do you mean, you can't explore? You seem free to me."

"Well since our population has been decreasing the men have taken to "protecting" us, because we're the ones who give birth to the next generation. They also think we're physically weaker or whatever."

"Isn't that the same as humans, though?"

Yup this girl really was weird.

"My clan...They're all cowards. We're forced to stay to our home because of their fear of predators and humans. I just want to explore and they don't even let me because i'm a girl."

"That's...weird. But I guess your not like normal fey, anyway." While Callisto's clan was small, many of them had encountered humans before. Lots of them hadn't returned, meaning she'd never met someone who thought of humans in this way.

"I don't disagree though. Humans are much more interesting than the likes of my Clan."

She flew around their heads getting a good look at them both.

"Make them...happy? Why? Haven't they ever tried to...I don't know, grab you, or stuff you in a box or whatever?" The people of Callistos clan had always made it very clear to her not to go near humans. Of course she never listened, but she couldn't understand why Green would want to make them happy.

Well, that was a shame. Callisto had never met another fey like her outside of her Clan. It would have been interesting to learn of Clans from other trees. She flitted about the other fairy with curiousity. 

"How come you look like that then? Human stories of us are stupid, and super incorrect."
