Colourette Facegloss; My First Highlighter

Not a product review.

Aside from lipsticks, another makeup I truly adore are highlighters. My adoration with it started from the different makeup vlogs and Instagram makeup trends I constantly watch. Though, the very first time I really knew about highlighters was last year, after I watch one of Jeffree Star’s (one of my favorite vloggers!) vlog. Girl I ain’t lying when I tell you IT WAS BLINDIN’! IT. WAS. BLINDIIIIIIIIN’!

From there, I’ve been so fascinated about it. I would keep on watching highlighter reviews on and on.

Being so into highlighters, some people think I own a lot of it in my makeup stash but no, I don’t. Actually, I don’t even own any highlighter.

The reason? I don’t see myself using it that much so why bother buying, right?

UNTIL

a certain highlighter caught my attention.

I’ve seen a lot of highlighters in mall, and in those times I’ve swatched all of them as well. I just can’t restrain myself whenever I see highlighters y’all. I gots to swatch.

Even tough I’ve seen good quality highlighters, I just don’t find myself buying it. But then, I came across a product review in Youtube about the Colourette Facegloss.

The review had positive comments on the highlighters but of course, I didn’t stop there. I watched a total of nine reviews from trustworthy makeup vloggers and guess what? All reviews are positive reviews!

I just saw the highlighters online but I already fell in love with them. I guess the shades were the selling points for me. The three shades are just lovely.

I went with the shade Dream Quartz because it hooked me the most. It’s a lovely champagne pink-like color that I really love ♡

I know it’s quite pricey but it’s so good when applied on my face. It gives me that illuminating, glowing and dewy skin I’m desiring for.

But like all products, there will always be foibles. In this one, it had a lot of fall out.

PS: I want to thank my mama’s garden and vase ahaha. I don’t have any cute flat lay, sorry. Also, Thank you to my sister, Ate Phanie for buying the highlighter! ♡

September last year, I came across the page Love Hope Faith in Faceboook. The three words instantly captured my attention. At that time, I was perhaps in my lowest so I was really looking for different motivational quotes. I honestly thought it was yet another page for inspiring quotes but no. Love Hope Faith is an online shop that primarily sells a ‘Life Saver Watch’, for every watch you purchase, they will donate 50% of the net proceeds to help Cancer Patients fund their medical treatments. I love that ♡

I, myself, am guilty of too much online shopping so purchasing their watch revolutionized my online shopping addiction. I get a watch and I get to save a life at the same time.

The design is uniform and they come in big and small sizes. Both are available in ten colors.

I went with the big watch in color black just because I know that black goes with everything. It goes well with my school uniform as well as any outfit. You can never go wrong with black, baby.

I’m thinking of getting another watch in different color though, or maybe I’ll just collect all of them, para more chances of helping! ;)

They also sell other stuff like shirts that have “TIME TO SAVE A LIFE, I AM A LIFE SAVER” printed on it. 

I love how chic the design is. The straps are plastic but it doesn’t feel irritating, at least for me.

Sugar Daddy

Nope, it’s not a rich old man.

February 1, my friend Joan and I decided to go to a certain restaurant in Bayombong. We were supposed to inquire for reservation prices and other stuff but unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. Thinking that we wouldn’t want our effort in getting there to be wasted, we decided to make lamon there na lang (intentional conyo talk).

There are two cafes located right next to the restaurant, one is Quinn’s café, which we already tried, and the other is the Sugar Daddy Cafe. Aside from we wanted to try something new, the cafe's name really sold me. Sugar Daddy. So much love to restaurants or establishments with bizarre names.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the door’s handle

For Joan though, their Silken Chilled Taho, which we saw at the cafe’s door, made her want to try Sugar Daddy.

The cafe isn’t spacious but I really don't mind, especially at that time because there was only one customer aside from Joan and I.

The Menu

The cafe offers limited food and beverages. So if you’re in the mood for something light, this is your place.

Since it was very spontaneous for me and Joan to eat there, we went for a “safe” order. We wouldn’t want to risk and order a lot.

But really it’s because we’re trying to save up money (HAHA).

I went with their Just Tea (P45.00) while she satisfied her curiosity by ordering the Silken Chilled Taho in Chocolate (P35.00).

The cafe looks like a mini museum with all the random art pieces placed at the corners or hanging on the walls.  What I really adore in this cafe though are the swings as chairs! ♡
