ways merlin could have revealed his magic in the battle of camlann era

one of my favorite games to play, basically anytime, anywhere, is "ways merlin could have revealed his magic at the end of season 5 to achieve the best possible storytelling". here are some of the fruits of that labor:

1. instead of showing up at the battle of camlann as dragoon, merlin shows up as himself. this is the obvious dramatic choice to make. arthur finds out that merlin is a super powerful sorcerer by watching him pull down lightning from the sky and annihilate his enemies.

2. before the battle of camlann, merlin reveals that he has magic. heartbroken, arthur sends him away. merlin returns anyway, coming to arthur's aid at the battle. now we have both the quiet reveal, where merlin bravely looks arthur in the face and says, "i have magic", AND we have arthur watching merlin in ultimate BAMF mode. win/win

3. merlin attempts to prove that he has magic before arthur leaves for battle, but as we all know, morgana does take away merlin's magic at this time. therefore, merlin can't prove that he actually has magic, and arthur doesn't believe him. when merlin shows up at the battle of camlann, the audience now gets the thorough pleasure of watching arthur gape in shock as his incredibly powerful manservant changes the course of a war.
