I love it when people use "shrimp" to mean "beyond the human range". like "shrimp colors" but applied to other things. "shrimp emotions" "shrimp sounds" "shrimp morality", as if shrimp are living some kind of transcendent existence that humans can never comprehend

I think it's cool to highlight how bizarre Atlas' appearance can still be without just considering his massive size. However, he tries to hide as much as he can characteristics that would make him even more different from a human being. And one of these characteristics is his reptilian jaw, which he almost never opens in front of one of his little protégés. You can count on one hand the times he opened his mouth wide for someone.
