Team Lab has been busy with the Crystal Universe exhibition going all over it seems! I was with Will Goodan whose work I adore when my shots were snapped. That place is lovely and you look beautiful! Love that smile of yours.

(n*´ω`*n) It was so~beautiful, wasn’t it? I loved your shots as well, you look lovely. It’s a shame that we didn’t see each other, I guess we went on different days.

I was with Ishikawa Ryokun! I kind of adore him (and of course, his work too) ( ´∀｀ )笑 I loved Team Lab’s previous exhibition too, the one with flowers, did you see that one?

There are three types of friendship. One are those you keep in your contact list, you remember their names but not quite where you know them from. The numbers are only there in case one day you need to contact them, it happens sometimes, especially in their line of work. Networking is important. Two, friends you occassionaly talk to. It’s fun to talk to them and sometimes meet them. Nothing too deep, and not always together, but as far as recharging goes, it’s always nice to see them. You like them and are happy to know them- but they wouldn’t be number one to contact in an emergency. Three are codename: ‘we are so close, I’d be devestated without you.’. These people are more than just friends, they’re the types who wouldn’t think twice about calling you out when you do something stupid. They’re the ones who cry and laugh with you. They’re close, they’re there, they make ‘love’ much more than just a word. Then there’s people like Key to Chiaki. More than just a friend. Not any less than a family. People you can be 100% yourself without worrying, and there’s no going back from that relationship. A strong bond that won’t disappear.

So when they finally had a rare chance to meet, Chiaki was happier than she’d been in a while. So much to talk about, so many things to catch up with. Sometimes messages and phone calls were not enough and they were both the same type so everything made better sense when they were together. Everything else hurt less. His sight was certainly welcome and she hugged him just as tight. “I missed you~!” She tugged his arm so she could lead them into her (new) living room. Last time he visited her, she hadn’t moved out yet but the house was- while it was different- still distinctly Chiaki. Girly, with lots of photos of her family and friends, KIKIsan and fashion- especially her signed Louboutin’s viewed proudly. “I’m good, well, much better now that you’re here. We’ll catch up, but first, do you want anything to drink? I got us some snacks and cake. And I don’t accept any words that start with d and ends with iet. OK?”

How long had it actually been since their paths had crossed? Kibum struggled to remember the last time, which was a very clear indicator that it had been far too long. There were always texts, and phone calls, sometimes only to gossip, sometimes to avoid a homicide, and sometimes when aches and pains needed to be heard by another to be released. But it wasn’t the same as meeting Chiaki in person. The two of them were like siblings, equally bright and effervescent with low notes of bluntness and realism and a sassy streak a mile wide. That had made Kibum feel at home with her from the first time they had met. She got him.

Rehearsals for the musical had ended and there was no place he wanted to be more than hers. He had changed into something more interesting than sweats, as if they were going out somewhere nice, ripped skinny jeans and fishnet beneath his new favourite deconstructed shirt. Literally, his go-to outfit right now to the point that it was already tired. If it was too much, it was usually in good company, anyway.

There was a bottle of pinot noir in his hand but it quickly made its way to the nearest surface once she let him in so that he could hug her tightly. “Oh, girl. You are a sight for sore eyes. How are you? Tell me everything.”
