It has been a month since you have broken with your ex boyfriend Luke Hemmings and suddenly disappeared from his life not leaving a trace of you behind. You admit you left harshly without letting him explain himself, but at the time you were too blinded by anger and heartache to even care.

You remember that day vividly when you heard about the rumors that your ex-boyfriend had been seen with another woman and caught kissing her. Of course you didn’t believe the rumors, because being with someone who was as famous and popular as your ex-boyfriend, rumors would be constantly swirling around and you knew better then to believe people who claim to know Luke better than you did. But when you saw those pictures pop up on the internet of your ex-boyfriend kissing someone that wasn’t you, you couldn’t help, but to believe that the man you’ve been with for over three years and so in love with had indeed cheated on you.

~♡ a month earlier ♡~

You sat on the floor in your bathroom with your knees hugged up against your chest while you cried. You couldn’t believe that Luke would cheat on you, hell you didn’t want to believe it. He was your everything and when you saw those pictures of him hanging out with a beautiful model, kissing her like he hasn’t been in a relationship with you for three years and it broke your heart.

You reach your arm in front of you to grab your cellphone to see if he had tried to call you or text you back. After you saw those pictures, you sent multiple texts saying you saw those pictures and that you wanted to talk. It’s been an hour since you sent those texts and still no reply. Your shaking hands click on the contacts app on your phone, searching for best friends number. You clicked on his contact and pressed call bringing the phone up to your ear. After a few rings your best friend answered.

“Ashton...” You sobbed into the phone not holding back the fact that your heart was broken.

“(y/n)? What’s wrong, why are you crying?” Ashton inquired his tone laced with worried and concern.

“I-It’s Luke, he cheated on me and he won’t answer my texts or calls” You explained with a sniff and wiping away your tears with the sleeve of your oversized hoodie.

“HE DID WHAT?” You heard your best friend yell making you flinch and pull the phone away from your ear. “That son of a bitch” Ashton mumbled angrily. “Don’t worry (y/n), I’ll find his pathetic cheating ass and make him wish he never cheated on you” He assured you.

“Ash-“ You begin, but he cuts you off.

“I’ll call you in a bit, I’m going to try to go find him” Ashton tells you and you shake your head even though he couldn’t see you. Before you could protest against him, he hangs up the phone. You huff frustrated dropping the phone beside you, running your fingers through your hair.

~♡ a couple hours later ♡~

You sat on your couch eating a tub of ice cream while watching a romantic film. Ashton hasn’t called you back yet, and you still haven’t heard anything from Luke or his whereabouts. You placed the tub of ice cream on the table and leaned your head back on the couch, closing your eyes. Moments later you heard the door knob jingling making you jump up startled. You watch as the door opens slowly making you move backwards to the other side of the couch. You let out a breath of relief when you see the familiar face of your boyfriend walk in holding his leather jacket in his arms with a tired expression on his face. After taking off his boots he looked up noticing you sitting on the couch staring at him, a small smile forms on his face and makes his way towards you.

“Hey baby, how are you?” Luke questions sitting beside you leaning his face close to yours to place a sweet kiss on your lips, but you place your hands on his chest pushing him away causing a frown to appear. “(y/n)... What’s wrong?” A sudden rage cursed through your veins, when acted as if nothing happened.

“What’s wrong? First of all you’ve been gone all day and second, you haven’t answered any of my texts or calls” You exclaimed raising your voice startling Luke a bit before his eyes went soft and filled with guilt.

“I’m sorry (y/n), I was out with Michael all day. We went to the studio to record some new songs. After that we went out over to his place for a bit to play video games then went out for dinner and some drinks” He explained to you trying to pull you into a hug, but you backed away angrily.

“That doesn’t answer why you never replied to my text messages or answered my phone calls” You cross your arms over your chest, furrowing your eyebrows waiting for his excuse. You saw a sudden realization cross through his eyes as he dug through his pants pocket taking out his phone showing you the dead battery screen. “Oh, your phones dead” You muttered looking down at your lap.

“Yeah” Luke awkwardly responded rubbing the back of his neck. He wraps his arm around your waist pulling you to him. “I’m sorry again (y/n) I should have charged my phone and let you know where I was and what I was doing, instead of letting you worry” He apologizes again placing a kiss on your forehead making tears fall from your eyes.

You shake your head pushing yourself away from him remembering the pictures you saw earlier of him kissing someone else and then he had the decency to place those lips on your forehead. You stand up in front of looking at him with disgust as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion standing up as well, making his way towards you. You back away putting your arms in front of you causing him to halt in his spot.

“Stay away from me Luke” You demand your voice shaky. Luke’s once confusion face was gone and replaced with a deep frown.

“(y/n) what’s going on with you?” He inquired and you scoff loudly.

“You really expect to come home acting like everything is fine, when your lips were on some other woman?” You snarl angrily and you felt the tears stream down your cheeks. “A-After everything we’ve been through... Am I not good e-enough for you Luke?” You whisper.

Your sight was blurry from all the tears that you couldn’t see your boyfriends heartbroken expression. He couldn’t believe the words that were coming out of your mouth, cheat on you? Where did you get that crazy assumption from? Luke was so in love with you, that he couldn’t imagine anybody else by his side, but you. He hated seeing you crumple apart right in front of his eyes, he wanting nothing more than to pull you into his chest and to reassure you that whatever you heard or saw were nothing, but lies.

“(y/n), I would never cheat on you. I love you so much, why would you think such a terrible thing?” Luke inquired clenching his fist by his side in frustration. “And of course you are enough for me, you’re all I wanted and more.”

“BULLSHIT! You know I never took you has a liar, but you seem pretty damn good at it. If you loved me you would have never had you lips on someone else! You can deny cheating on me all you want, but I know the truth. I saw those pictures” You shout finally losing your composure. You watch as his realization washes over his face and his lips open in an ‘O’ shape. The only meant one thing, you figured he knew exactly what you were speaking of and he was guilty.

“I can explain earlier when-“ He began, but you quickly cut him off with a scoff walking past him. You felt him grab your wrist stopping you from moving any further. “Where are you going? We’re in the middle of a conversation.”

“I’m going to pack my things, I don’t want to talk anymore or listen to your excuses.” You sternly tell him snatching your wrist out of his grasp and walking towards your shared bedroom.

“Oh my god, Just let me fucking explain!” Luke shouted from behind you. You shook your head pulling out your suitcase, throwing in your clothes and other essentials.

“JUST SHUT UP” You yelled making him flinch. “I’m done okay? Yes we had an amazing three years together, but I’m not going to stay with someone who cheated on me and doesn’t think I’m not good enough. I stuck with you when I was being bullied and harassed by some of your fans. I stood by your side when you were going through your darkest, toughest times. I-I love you I really do, but this is crossing the line” You explain with tears streaming down your face. You finished packing your suitcase and zipped it up. You grabbed the handle and walked it with you to the door of the bedroom.

“(y/n)... wait, p-please don’t leave” He stuttered quietly. You heard the crack in his voice and knew he was about to cry, but that didn’t stop you.

“Goodbye Luke” You muttered before leaving him standing alone in your once shared bedroom.

Calum Hood x Reader

You laid on the couch with your head on your boyfriend’s chest while Duke was snuggled up to his side and your favorite movie played on the screen in front of you. As time went by and the darker it got outside you knew you had to get up and start dinner, but you were too exhausted to even move. You sighed deeply as Calum brushed your hair with his fingers, it was such a soothing feeling and you could feel yourself drifting to sleep. Hearing a grumble in your ear startled you awake as you bolted up and looked over at Calum who’s cheeks were dusted light pink.

“Cal are you hungry?” You inquired with a smile poking his blushed cheeks.

“A little, but it’s okay I know you’re tired” Calum shrugs kissing your forehead.

You frowned feeling a little bit guilty. Calum has always put you first, that’s just love able person that he is. If you were tired and wanted to sleep, he would let you sleep even if he had other things on his mind. You loved that he took care of you, but you just wish sometimes he’d put himself first. Taking a deep breath you slowly got off the couch and held your hand out for him to take. Calum stayed put and stared at your hand confused.

“Come on, I know you are starving so let’s go get something in that stomach of yours” You exclaim and a big smile finds it’s way on his face causing your heart to flutter.

Calum takes your hand and stands up causing Duke to bark loudly and jump around missing the warmth of him. You both look at each other and let out a giggle as he takes the little guy in his arms, and pets his head. Both of you head into the kitchen and you grab a pot, boiling some water for spaghetti while Calum feeds your cute pup. You begin to chop up some meat for the sauce when you felt a pair of arms snake around your waist and a chin lay on your shoulder. His hand lands on yours stopping your movements and turns you around so your back is on the counter.

“Here let me finish cutting the meat. Grab the onion and some seasoning” You nodded your head with a smile before giving him a peck on his cheek and grabbing an onion and going into cabinets to find the right seasoning.

Finishing up cutting up the meat, and chopping some onions you mix everything in a pan with the tomato sauce. Calum stirred the sauce occasionally while you started to pour the noodles in boiling water, and turned the heat down a little so it wouldn’t boil over.

Hearing your favorite song play through the speakers you rush over to your phone, turning the volume up and dancing around the kitchen. You could feel Calum’s eyes on your figure as moved along to the beat of the rhythm.

“Dance with me” You say grabbing his wrists, pulling his body towards yours.

Both of you began dancing around the kitchen to the music, you had the biggest smile on your face and Calum’s expression mirrored your own. He took your hand, twirling you around then dipping your back and you couldn’t help, but let out a giggle. He dipped his head down to where his plump lips were grazing yours.

“I love you (y/n), so much” Calum softly whispers. His mouth found yours and you instantly moved your lips against his, standing up to wrap your arms around his neck to pull him closer to you. You pulled away and leaned your forehead against his.

“I love you too, so much” You breathed out a small smile finding it’s way to your face. You heard a bark and looked down to see Duke on his hind legs, jumping on Calum wishing to be in his arms. “I think he wants some of your attention” You giggle. He lets out a low chuckle bending down to pick Duke up in his arms. A timer had the both of you look at one another and realize that the spaghetti was finally finished and it was time to eat.

“Thank god the spaghetti is done, I’m pretty sure I was about to die from starvation” Calum exclaims stretching his arms and walking over to the stove to take the pots of the burner.

“You’re such a dork” You laugh loudly at your dramatic boyfriend.

You loved him so much and there was no doubt that he loved you too.
